Part 60

Almost running she ascended all those steps and walked in then got a shock! Maan was unbuttoning his shirt in nurse presence. Tray in Geet hands were started shaking and her face had become dangerously red in anger.

Within a millisecond she rushed in and kept tray on table with loud sound, that got Maan attention.

"Aaram se Geet'. Maan said and she glared him in response angrily.

Geet saw nurse was arranging an equipment and Maan resumed his doing with shirt-buttons. Geet rushed to him and whispered, "What are you doing!!''

"Geet, nurse said she needs to check my heartbeats so I'm just preparing for that!!' he whispered back then saw nurse came.

Geet was to open her mouth to reply when "Could you please move back!'' Nurse said her. Geet expression becomes more valuable for Maan to see but he controlled back.

Geet just disliked all this. Standing behind she was having worst time when imagined how nurse would have been touching over his bare chest. She closed eyes in disgust and turned back feeling strong discomfited. Maan was having tough time to control his laugh when saw her making various faces in being insecure.

Not for much time Geet could keep control over her restless heart and turned face back little to see, what they were doing. She got shocked to see that nurse was measuring his blood pressure binding machine on his arm instead of chest as Maan had made her assume.

She found Maan was looking at her only with deadly smirk. Geet understood he was teasing and that made her more annoyed. She gave him a strong glare, twisted her lips and turned to leave in irritation.

"Um nurse, could you please pass me that bowl

Her step paused on door and turned.

"Sure' Nurse smiled back and this burned heart Geet severely. Her hands were etching to kill that nurse just then and there with no mercy

"And Maan! Unko toh mai baad me dekh lungi!!!'' Her thought came on halt when found; nurse was walking to him for handing over bowl. Geet eagle eyes spotted that nurse hand was to touch with his, she runs in super fast speed and snatched bowl from her hands in a jerk that some liquid dropped on her dress. Nurse drew back all of sudden.

"What are you doing?' she was amazed and almost shouted.

Geet- Um wo' she was stammering.

Maan too interrupted "Haan Geet tell, what are you doing?

Geet nerves were erupting out hearing Maan being so normal. "Soup has become cold. It would not be good for him' she answered being so proper but Maan could sense her fume.

As nurse went for cleaning her dress Geet glared Maan hazardously and turned to go when Maan stopped her

"Wait Geet!!'

He stood up and comes closer. Geet was stood but did not look him. She was angry and that Maan could see. He comes from back and holds her both arms.

"Won't you look me back Geet' he whispered getting so near. Geet did not say back anything.

"Bilkul bhi baat nahi karogi'' He tried to make her turn but she forcefully stopped her-self.

"Leave me!''

"And if I don't'' He comes to front, kept his finger below her chin and made her look him. Her mood was foul and it affected her face looked like an innocent child with red fuming cheeks. Maan bent to kiss them. Though Geet mind wanted to push him back but her heart did not help it. She forgot her anger and closed eyes in expectation. She was having tough breathes with lots of anticipations which was feeling like since ages she had been waiting for his one touch but, it was not ending.

Being tired with her own wait she opened eyes to be found that Maan was drinking same soup sitting relaxed on bed. She looked nurse had already returned back and was sitting on couch, stealing glimpse of Maan time to time, Geet could not bear this sight and walked out of room running in outrage. Maan raised eyes looked her drawing back. He regretted "seems it gone much far'

Geet was walking back n fro downstairs in hall restlessly. Due to Maan health she was bearing this torture otherwise what would have happened till now, she wandered. But still it couldn't be tolerated, not any more "But what I do! Its Maan order to keep nurse here and he doesn't listen anyone within his decision'' Getting no option she sat up on couch making faces.

"What happened Beta!' Dadi was crossing from there when saw her sitting alone and in not a very good mood.

"Nothing Dadi''

"Don't try to hide Geet. bataiye kya hua!! Is it Maan? ''

Geet looked her then nodded slightly.

"Hmm! What he did now'

"Nothing'

"Geet don't you think you should learn to speak a few more words too!! Now tell me what happened ''

"Wo- wo nurse'' She spoke embarrassingly

"Hmm, hum samjh gaye. You know Beta I had already doubt when he told to appoint a nurse for him. Because he never allows anyone outsider in this mansion, leave thinking about in his own room! But why are you sitting quite!! Jaaiye , badla lijiye unse!!''

But Dadi his health'''

"Oh Geet do you really think his health needs a nurse' to look after. You're so innocent Beta. Did you forget he was the one who had gone hundreds kilometres far just for you!! He is teasing you Geet '' SD smiled on her innocent daughter in law condition.

Haan Dadi ye toh maine socha hi nahi. Now he will see!!'' she stood up at once.

"Good!!''

"But what I should do Dadima!!''

"What I do of this mad girl!!'' Dadi shook head. "Do nothing, just ignore him as he is doing!!'' she winked and Geet smiled. "samajh gayi Dadi you're so sweet!!'' Geet hugged her in joy.

"Bless you Beta!!''

"Just go and show him your woman power!!!''

Geet nodded and runs toward his room.

"Geet where are you going???'' SD yelled from back.

"Just you said na Dadi to show him my power!!'' Geet said innocently

Dadi felt like bagging her head on wall. "Before it I said to ignore him, did you forget that!!'

Geet bit her tongue. "Sorry, I will not go before him!!'

"Hmm!! That's would be good for you, now go in your room and take rest Beta'

Geet nodded and left to her room.

It passed two hours when Maan had not seen Geet. He was desperately wanted to see her but Geet by Dadi's order, was locking herself in her room as she was too dying to see him but couldn't. One his health and second that nurse, thoughts were killing her but she had no option just to do what Dadi had told.

Fourth hour was passing and it was getting dark outside when Geet now could not bear more. She had done everything for not to think about him but failed. Every time she made juice, soup for Maan and tried to go to him but with one glare of Dadi, had to stop and got sent by Nakul's hand. It was becoming so difficult for her now.

Maan condition was same or it good to be saying that his was worst. Geet at least knew why she could not meet him but Maan had no idea. He was thinking that Geet was angry and at least for checking nurse, she will be come but no! There was no sign of her since four hours and that was so unusual for him. Many times he asked Dadi also when she visited but SD excused saying Geet was may be in kitchen.

Finally when again he saw that Nakul with juice his last bit of patience ended up. Removing out blanket from over him, he stood up and walked to door when nurse held his arm asking where he's going. Maan eyes boiled when he felt her touch and his grave glare made nurse gulp down her saliva in scare.

"Don't dare to touch me!!' his tone was so severe that she moved back almost shivering.

Maan reached downstairs and searched in hall. Geet was not there. He searched in kitchen but she was not there also which started to run his heart beat in hard pace. Nakul saw him but Maan crossed him like no one and walked to Dadi room.

"Maan sir!!'' Nakul called out loud in surprise and Geet heard it along with SD who was chatting in Dadi room. Geet was having tough time to tolerate so she had come to talk her. Maan walked in at once.

"Dadi where is Geet?''

Geet was hiding behind curtain.

"Don't know Beta. O haa yaad aya she is gone for shopping'

"Hmm!'' Maan left from there when Geet comes out. She was feeling so eager to talk him. Luckily Sd got an call, Geet came out and followed Maan. She went to his room but stopped on door.

"Geet did you forget what Dadi had said? But I can't be away more from him. Just once let me see how is he, please Babaji'' she was arguing with her own mind and hear and finally heart won over mind. She peeped inside slowly. But Maan was not there, she became worried.

"Where is he?''

She comes back downside and started to search for him. "Shayad study me ho!' thinking moved to study. As she opened door a hand pulled her inside and then she found door got closed.

"Ahh!!'' she gasped.

"Maan?'' She shocked.

"Why you're hiding from me Geet? '' Maan held her from waist.

She struggled " Leave me!''

"Now you don't want to talk to me!''

Geet turned face away. Her anger had returned back which had been forbidden.

"Why I should Maan, you go and talk with your that beautiful nurse'' irritatingly she said and again tried to be freed.

"If I say I want you to be with me, talk with me then? '' Maan pulled her closer that his whisper was showering his warm breathes on her face. Geet was having tough time for not to fall for his charm but her anger was still alive.

Gathering every bit of energy she pushed him back.

"I don't want to talk you. You go with your nurse!!''

"Geet listen me ''' Maan tried to come nearer.

She runs and picked up a paper-cutter from table. "Chup!!! Move back''

Maan eyes became wider seeing her new form. "Geet.. ''

"What Geet haan what Geet!! You thought I will not understand? I know why you brought that nurse'' She was moving toward Maan where he was moving back shocked.

"How dare you to open your shirt in front of her haan!!'

"Geet that was only three buttons not shir'''

"Chup!! How dare you to get that bowl from her hand' She was dangerously making him move back and his expression was so worthy to be seen.

"That because you were not there Geet listen' Aahh!! '' he fell back on couch.

"Bola na chup!!!'' Geet bent down showing her big eyes.

"Where is that nurse I will kill her?'' she tried to stand up when Maan pulled her hand and she fell on him at once.

"Leave me Maan let me go!!'' she struggled but his hold was becoming tighter around her.

Geet tried umpteenth times. The more he was pulling her closer, she was forgetting her revenge but this can't be happened. Maan was very much enjoying her anger and this intimacy. A whim was emerging inside. He was almost lost his sense, came closer to her when suddenly felt something been pricked on his waist and Geet found a chance to be free from his hold. She runs toward door

"Geet I will not leave you. How dare you to hit Maan Singh Khurana with that damn paper-cutter. You just wait and watch what I do''

"Haahh Maan if you even think of doing any such thing, I will tell everything to Dadima!!! She will see you then!!! '' she pointed with paper-cutter and runs out twisting her lips.

Precap: "I will not eat or drink anything till I see your face Geet'' Maan vowed.
