Part 55

"Daadima"

Maan and Stopped at once before Dadi who was standing there with foul face. Maan gulped down his saliva knowing now, he had to answer her grandmother.

"Dadima!'' he walked slowly to her.

"Dadi!!!''

Before he could take step next Geet hugged Dadi. She hugged her as tight as alike was wanting to make herself free from all buried sorrow of heart. She had wish to cry loud but only wept softly, held back her storm of tears. The thought what Dev and Brij had planned, her heart became full of disgust and she was trying to vacant it with this elder lady's warm caresses.

Dadi hugged her back. She embrassed Geet in her motherly arms, wept. The thought what her own grandson was planning to do with her, let Dadi dampen in her own guilt. How her own blood could do this with this innocent girl, the thought made Dadi weaken in front of Geet. Both ladies had same sorrow, had equal grief but could not share or voice it out and everything came out in form of tears.

Maan who was stood at little far witnessed this sight which filled his heart with sentiments. He did not know those reasons which made both ladies weep but understood it as their earnest love and care for each other. He felt proud having theses precious women in his life.

"Dadima.. '' he spoke. Both dadi and Geet came out from their divergent misery. They wiped their eyes.

"Dadima I'm sorry. Please mujhe maaf kar dijiye.. I was..''

Before Maan could say further Geet interrupted.

"Dadima I had called him '' She did not want Dadi chide Maan and so lied. "I wanted him to come there and brought me back!!'' She paused for second and glimpsed Maan then Dadi. "Wo.. Dadi please there is not his fault in this all I had forced him to come. Please you don't shout him Dadi it was entirely my mistake.''

"Hmm!!'' SD stared her. Geet bent her head down.

Dadi looked Maan who was self amazed on what witnessed. Why Geet did this he was guessing and was lost in staring her when felt Dadi eyes on him, he straighten up at once and looked Dadi back.

"Maan is it true!!'' she spoke making firm voice but inward she could see shock on Maan face and knew, it was all lie. But she was happy seeing Geet concern for Maan. She was satisfied at least her one grandson will make Geet life happy. She looked Geet who was impatiently waiting for SD approval on her statement.

"Thik hai Beta it's okay!'' she patted Geet cheek smiling.

Geet smiled back and looked Maan who was again shocked as how easily Dadi forgave him. It was unbelievable, knowing Dadi nature. He smiled back too.

"Chaliye Maan you need rest'' Dadi said. "Geet you help Maan I come to meet doctor!'

"Ji Dadi' Geet nodded.

"Chaliye Maan'' Both left from there. Dadi looked them for seconds standing behind.

"Maan abhi toh humne aapko chor diya.. Once you come back home fir aapko batati hu !!'' she thought and left to doctor cabin.

"Ahh!!''

"What happened Maan'' Geet held him.

"Nothing Geet, I just can't walk like this'' he gave painful expression. Geet became worry.

"What happened? It is paining?''

"Hmm!! '' ' "Geet please hold me like I had taught you. That was sp comforting'' he said innocently .. naughtily.

"Maan!!'' .. 'Aap na khud se chaliye ab!!'' She gave angry face and kept walking in anger..

"Fine Geet, I ask any nurse to help me!!!'' he shouted. Geet turned back. Maan turned back from her and acted to search any nurse.

When he could not find any Geet comes and poked his shoulder ..

Maan- what

Geet- mili ??''

Maan- Can't you see I'm busy

Geet- Oh sorry!! Keep going; She crossed her arms and stood there and looked what Maan does next.

Then a nurse crossed from there, Maan called her. "Excuse me!!!!''

Before nurse could come, Geet rushed to him, held his arms "What are you doing Maan chaliye!!''

Maan smiled seeing her fuming but quite. She held him as same like before from waist, holding his arms around her shoulder and walked to room. Maan was smiling all the time which made her fume more but could not shout or leave him.

"Don't know whom he will call to help again!!'' She was helpless and walked with him in same pace. Maan pressed his hand around her shoulder tighter, it was like he was holding her for support, not she. Geet looked him when felt his hold and smiled back.

They reached in room. Geet made Maan lay on bed. "Maan aaram se!'' she kept his legs on bed comfortably. "I am going to see where is Dadima'' she started leaving when Maan held her hand. she stopped, looked back him. Their eyes met then she looked down in shy.

"Maan leave me, Dadi will be coming''

"Let her come''

Maan'' only whisper could come out from her mouth.

"Geet, please don't leave me''

She felt an odd stress in his voice. She came and sat next to him, stared him with engrossment. Maan was still holding her hand. It was giving life to him, her touch, the feel of her close to him, was making his heartbeat relaxed.

Maan was looking her, staring her face like it was the first time he had seen this. He could still remember her condition when had seen her on road a few hours before. But now she was looking happy, her face had peace, it gave him fulfillment. Their eyes met and got lost in each other. They forgot where they were and wanted to live in this time only but it could be happened.

Dadi entered with doctor and broke their eyes talk. Doctor checked Maan and said for complete bed rest. Some hours passed and it was evening when Dadi decided to go back mansion. Maan also insisted her to go back knowing she was not well-healthy also.

"Let's go Geet beta, we will come back at tomorrow morning''

She stood up and turned tro leave with Geet when Maan exclaimed firnily

"Geet is not going anywhere Dadi she will stay here with me!!!!''

Geet shocked with Dadi with his anger filled sound and stopped on way.

"But Maan Geet also need rest..

"That she can do here also but she will not go!!!''

Geet was silent. Though she did not want to leave Maan and go but knew that Dadi also needed her. But she could not say anything, let them decide. Dadi could not stand before Maan stubbornness. But she could understand his fear. Somewhere she felt that she had lost Maan trust on her but then shoved off this unusual thought and left, leaving Geet there with maan..
