"Dev!!! How are you'' Maan straightened up himself.

Dev smiled gloomily "Bro you are asking me how I'm!! You're in hospital not me''

"I know Dev, but I also know my little brother must have been worrying for me, right!!''

Dev felt grief. Maan words did a hollow in his heart and entered inside giving it so much aching. He did not reply just smiled slightly.

"Dev give me your phone''

"Phone!! Why Bro'

"wo actually I want to talk to Geet. Don't know why she didn't come yet. I think I should call her''

Dev became pallid. Somehow he thought for an explanation..

"um Bro she will be sleeping right now. Actually after your accident, she could not bear the sight of your condition. Dadi someway made her take pills so I think she will be resting.

"Hm!!'' Maan felt so agitated for her. He knew how delicate she was!

"I know how much she loves me. I wish I could be there for her!!'' Maan mumbled, lost in his own thought. He closed eyes feeling lack of spirit which only Geet could fill in him, when he so much wanted to have her near.

Dev understood he should leave now. He left but felt guilt for misjudging his brother..

Next Morning,

"Bhaisahab what should we do now? I can't hide more from him!!'' Dadi looked so worried up till getting inside in Maan room. She was not sure now what; she would make excuse to hide about Geet.

"Don't worry Savitriji, we will do something''.

"How are you feeling Beta!!'' SD tried to smile.

"Better Dadi. Hello uncle!' Maan was showing himself energetic so that they could allow him to go home soon. His eyes were again searched for Geet but frustration made way on his expression when saw, she was not there.

"Dadi how is she now? Did you show her to doctor?''

"Who Maan?' SD did not know whom Maan was asking for. She did not have any idea about Dev meeting Maan. She was confused.

"Geet!!'' Maan said feeling anticipations.

"What happened her!!!'' Dadi shocked but then instantly composed herself when felt a hand on her shoulder. It was Madhav who pointed her to be silent.

"She is fine son'' Madhav interfered. He guessed Maan mistook Geet absence as her being unwell.

"Then why she is not coming!!'' Maan was now excessively upset. He was sensing their behavior was odd. "What can be reason that Geet doesn't come with them. Is she perfectly okay!!''

Both elder sensed Maan's anxiety. Though Madhav had bold face but Dadi was not able to not to show her turmoil. She was slacking her stability to keep everything be managed.

Maan understood she was hiding something. He could read Dadi face, her every expression was disclosed to him. The ill-happened to his Geet brought him on edge of apprehensiveness.

"Dadi what happened. I know you are hiding something!!'' he became adamant. Not now any one could keep matter hidden from his shrewdness. He knew both elders were trying to veil on something which was related to Geet.

"No Maan nothing happened. Why do you think we can hide something Beta!! Don't you trust us!!'' SD was on verge of cry. Her eyes had so much pleading that Maan did understand there must have monstrous trouble somewhere which they were trying to hide. He knew Dadi would nothing hide from him until it affects him deeply. But also he could not see his grandmother, his strength dissolving like this. He composed himself, tried to show them that he was convinced.

"I'm sorry Dadi. I did not mean that!! I was just worried for Geet''

"I know Beta but you don't worry. She is perfectly fine. Very soon we will bring her here. But now she needs some time to rest!'' Madhav said

Maan nodded. He acted that wants to sleep now''

"Okay Maan you take rest Beta!!''

Both came out. Dadi was feeling so much helpless, she cried… "I can't handle it Bhaiya!!! I can't see my Maan restless eyes for Geet!!! Where is she Bhaiya why didn't you find her till now!!!''

Madhav had no answer. He had tried his best but no one knew where whole Handa family had vanished. He consoled SD.

Dev who were watching them from far felt bad for his grandmother. He had been there since last night, not for a minute he left. Dadi words did an effect on him that he was in remorse. He understood what he had lost but now, when knew there was no way he could again gain trust of his family; he lost courage to face them. But somehow he wanted to correct his mistake. He knew that only he was there who could find Geet because Brij, would sure contact him. But for that he needed his phone back which was still with Madhav. He decided to talk him..

Though he tried umpteen times but could not find Madhav alone and he had no courage to face Dadi again. So at last he decided to contact Brij himself and get idea whereabouts of Geet..

Since morning started Geet was not in her own self. She had an acute inner-will to escape from here. After what heard, she would not stay for a minute if it would have been possible but somehow now, she had to find any way. She also told Rano everything. Rano shocked similarly knowing how Brij used her for this dirty plan.

"Geet what will we do now!!' Rano was worried sensing the grave depth of situation.

"Maa I have thought something'' Geet spoke firmly.

"I'm with you Beta' She hugged Geet and gave her needed benediction for safe salvage.

It was evening when Daarji ordered for tea. Rano prepared and was to take to him when Geet stopped her.

"Maa I will do it!'

She took cup from rano hand and went in Daarji room.

"Daarji tea''

"Hmm keep it on table''

Geet went and kept cup down while her eyes were searching for something and she found it. Hurriedly she picked it up and hid in fist secretly and left.

"Maa!!'' She rushed to Rano dragged in her room and shut the door. Rano heart throbbed seeing Geet so much frantic.

"what happened Geet?'

Geet turned to her and showed her hand. "Look this Maa''

"What is this?'' she was confused

"Maa this is the way I can escape from here. There are Daarji's sleeping pills!!'

Rano shocked and watched Geet and tried to understand her intention. Within a minute she understood what she should do. She nodded.

"Alright Beta, I will put these pills in dinner.

"Thanks Maa'' Geet hugged her. Both had dismay, throbbing in heart but they were resolute..

Maan pretended to be sleeping and waited for Dadi and Madhav to leave hospital. When he was sure they were not around he stood up and came out from room. He looked for any phone and found one guy who was talking on phone. Maan requested him for one call and dialed Mansion number. Nakul received.

Maan sir how are you?'' he surprised hearing Maan voice.

"I'm fine Nakul. Now listen me carefully and haa!! Don't tell anyone that I had called you otherwise.. '' Maan threatened him. Nakul knowing Maaa very well, he nodded. Maan said him to bring his phone hospital but without telling anyone. He did not want Dadi to take stress more about him. Nakul agreed and in next two hours Maan had his phone in hand..
