The Downpour... Part 8

Geet was sitting all alone, silent in the parking of building. It was raining outside and it had been blocking her any way out. These quiet moments were giving her chance to think over every incident she had to face within few hours. She could not understand exactly what had happened and how!! Everything was just so fast to be handled it or comprehended. She was waiting for Asha that could go home back and when saw her coming out from lift. Geet runs to her calling her name

"Ash…!!!'

But Asha did not hear her call.

"Asha wait!!!!'

Geet hastened speed that could catch her but Ash was very fast.

"Asha!!!!!''

Geet followed her till she sat in taxi and left and Geet left behind, standing in rain, looking her with helpless eyes and worried face. She was confounded, why did she not hear me??

"May be due to rain..'' She thought

Geet made her heart understand that may be due to rain loud sound Ash could not hear her.. "Haan shayad yahi baat hogi!!!'

Disappointed she turned back and saw Maan was standing in front of her… looking her.. Staring her doesn't know since when!! Gone fear of her started to come back aging and occupied her mind with known alert and she moved back in shock, clutching material near her heart.

She was moving back and Maan was heading toward her. He had been looking her since she was following her friend and now, she was alone and drenched, standing in her sheen white suit in heavy downpour. He observed, she was moving back and back and when he hastened his step to grab her arm, to save her from wetting more, Geet runs away madly.

She was running like anything. In darkness, in downpour she was having trouble to see the road yet did not stop her move. It was hushed road. She could not find any vehicles, even though she knew, she had nothing to pay for it but she urgently wanted it at this time, at any cost.

"Babaji please save me!!!''

Maan saw her running away like an insane in alone road in rain. He immediately rushed in car and followed her. Seeing this, Geet increased her speed more even what could have been handled by her fragile legs and she trembled and fell down all of a sudden. But before Maan could stop car and come to help her she herself stood up and started running again. Her arms were paining, had got few scratches but she did not stop and she took a turn entered in a narrow lane.

Maan could not have followed her in narrow lane in car. He had to come out and run behind her. He knew this area was not safe for her, alone. He had not heart to leave her alone on her condition. Don't know why he felt like this but he had no time to argue again with his heart and mind. He just followed her.

"Geet stop!!!!'

He called but his voice blended in rain sound. Suddenly he found her missing from his sight!!!

"Where is she?????''

His heart started worrying. He let his eyes move in every direction but it was very much dark there, he was having difficulties to locate her. His heart unknowingly started beating rapidly for her.

"Geet!!!!'

Suddenly he heard a blurred sound of someone's cry. He hastened to the direction and finally his eyes got the view what it needed urgently. Geet was hiding in corner where further lane was blocked with high wall. She was highly scared and when saw him moving toward her, she started to shake badly.

"Please don't come near me!!!'

She cried helplessly. Maan heart filled with unknown hatred with this sight. Her tears were making his heart shaded with aversion for himself and he wanted to remove her pain anyhow. He rushed to her and she started to cry more bitterly, wanted to engulf in back wall if could have any possibilities of it. Maan extend hand to hold her …

"No!!! please don't !!!!''

She started struggling. Started to battle back more.. Started to scream.. Shout.. Maan had to cover her mouth with his hand to make her stop shouting otherwise any one could have come hearing her cry. But Geet started screaming more.. From deep-down of her lungs.

"Leave me!!!!''

she was clutching his collar tight.. Was trying to push him, make herself free but with her every move Maan temper was increasing more. His patience was escaping away from his mind and he was becoming angrier. He tried to make her understand but she was not ready for it.

"Geeettt!!!!!! "Listen me you damnit!!!!!''

Maan roared. He shook her body firmly, increased pressure of his hold on her arms. Geet stopped struggling hearing his yell and started staring him without any blink. Her body was shivering badly.

"Geet.. listen me once'

Maan spoke softly, cupping her cold, wet face in his hands. He made her look in him.

"You don't need to scare Geet'

Geet was looking him endlessly. Maan waited for her response, eagerly but she was very slow. Time was not ending. Both were stood there completely drenched, close to each-other, absorbing heat of each other's warm breathes. Maan unknowingly raised his hand to remove her curls which was troubling her eyes since long. Slowly Geet body started moving closer. Slowly she raised her arms and started to slip around his neck.

Maan shocked, suddenly what happened??? His body surprised with this sudden female body touch but he kept himself remain unmoved. Perhaps wanted to know what she was doing!!!

Geet like any drugged person was slipping nearer to him and lastly hugged him tight, completely surrendering herself in his arms.

Precap : Geet what are you doing'' He tried to remove her arms from around him but she was tightening her hold more... Finally Maan could not hold back and hugged her even more firmly...
