OMG What a painful, painful update

Every update that Rahul was present in so far I've hated him. But today I could not garner enough energy to hate him. I am sure as I come back to my senses my hatred will be multiplied a gazillion times, but right now all I can think about is Geet.

Her helplessness, her humiliation, her pain, her terror, her angst.

How, how does a girl feel when she is actually going through such a terrible thing, when even reading about it makes us feel sick to the core.

Her heart must surely be shedding tears of blood at this betrayal by yet another man who is in a position of authority. A person who should have protected her against such acts is in fact commiting them. How deep will be her sense of betrayal.

To me, now this is no more about just punishing Rahul. He will be dealt with I'm sure. But how will Geet deal deal with it. How does a perosn trust after being betrayed so deeply. How does one forgive forget and move on. Can you really do that?

I am numb, and though these are fictional characters, the emotions I am feeling are very, very real indeed.
