Geet immediately took the baby and placed him near her heart silently patting his back… he was crying and her heart was tearing with his one cry…

Geet: ssh.. nahi rote bacha …mera shone beta .. dekho dhruv acha beta hain na..good babies don't cry shona..look if dhruv will cry then doctor aunty will say that dhruv is a bad boy..he cries.. finally when her crying dhruv didn't stop she asked her babaji to make him stop…

Geet: babaji.. please dhruv ko chup kara dijiye..i cant see him crying.. please babaji…

Doctor was looking at two so lovingly even she is having a daughter of two year but still she was not able to shower this much love to her child whom she nurtured in her womb for nine months….

Doctor: baby you are so lucky to have her as your mother … the baby looked at his mother..she was praying to her babaji for his well being he was certainly the luckiest baby ..he was having his tiny thumb in his mouth and was sniffling silently ….. the eyes that always twinkle seeing his mother near him were having a slight pain…. He was having pain since he was given a shot… after checking dhruv he was in geet's protective arms..she was looking at him and sked about him ….

Geet: doctor is he fine..i mean iski diet is not like other babies those are of two months..he looks fragile and doesn't take enough milk … he sometimes throws his milk…

Geet was telling all the things having a fear in her heart..though she was strong but when it comes to her little angel she was fragile .. she was a scared mother who cant even take a small tiny drop of the tear drop in his eyes….

Doctor smiled and answered geet…

Doctor: geet he is premature baby and moreover he is not taking his mother's feed that's why he is small and weak… mother's nutrition is necessary for the baby geet and here he is totally deprived of that feed… so its natural that his growth will be affected …. Babies get their first feed from their mother but I don't think that he even had that… and for this reason he is underweight… artificial or bottle feed is not enough but try to feed him at regular short intervals ….

Geet looked at dhruv who was wrapped securely in his blanky he was playing in geet's lap..though he was having pain of shot but still he was in no mood to sleep..he was cranky….

Geet: doctor is there any complications I mean his health wont be affected further… main ise sab wohi hi feed karwa rahi hun jo aapne recommend kiya tha… but still he looks same…

Doctor again assured geet..

Doctor: geet he is fine just take care of him… he is lucky to have a mother who cares for him…and he will have a little fever today ... so take care

Geet smiled and looked at dhruv who looked at her back and made a frowning face… geet now wanted to ask if he is fine then can they move to delhi..she told the doctor …

Geet: doctor can he travel.. it wont be bad for his health …. I am transferred to delhi …

Doctor: no it wont be a problem just take care of him…and their will be climatic changes to see him accordingly … and I will recommend his case to DR KAPOOR in delhi she will take care of his further medications there wont be a problem…

Doctor's assurance gave geet a sigh of relief her little angel was fine that was the biggest relief she had got…

It was almost evening when geet was going to finally home.. dhruv was looking like a red cheery his cheeks were red due to the sudden fall in temperature.. his eyes were droopy.. the warmth of his mother's body was making him lazy…. Geet had reached her home when she looked that the same dog who was near to her baby that same came and was wagging his tail around him..like he sensed that he is the little angel.. she made him have a look at her baby and the do just went away just like he came to assure that the little baby was fine… geet opened the door…she looked at the messed that he had made he was not getting ready..geet put dhruv in the crib and placed his soft toys so that she could clean the place for him….

She was now sure that she will leave this place and may be that's for better..the angel that god gifted her in the form of this little one is her life…. She after cleaning the bed placed him on the bed..covering him with his blanket placing his toys around him..dhruv was in a mood to play..he was not though cranky due to his shot but still he cant deny his mother's presence..his eyes always search for geet….

Geet placed the soft pillows and make sure that they wont hurt him and even she placed in the middle….

Geet told him In the baby language…

Geet: ma will bring you milky and my shone will have it..haina baby..she asked making a baby face and like dhruv knew that his mother's words were his command he started throwing his legs and hands in air..geet very well knew that he wanted to be picked but now she knew that he wants his feed…

Geet: shona ma will come in few minutes till my baby will play with his baby bear na.. she asked him and he just smiled nodding his small sa head….

Geet: good boy dhruv….

Maan was alone he didn't knew what was the problem of surbhi he didn't forced him in anything he just wished for his baby and she herself was ready when he asked her not to abort than why did she planned his destruction ..he was having no clue for her so called revenge now his main aim was to trace her whereabouts and knew about his baby… she was the one who made him dream of a little angel and now she will be the one who will tell him where is she / he… a father's heart was not able to believe that the baby for whom he was waiting had left him…

Maan sat in the dark and gloomy park… some toddlers were there with their parents it was chilly night ..he had came to find the solace of having his little one in his arms but he is only having the lifeless dark night..he wanted a sun to shine in his life and the dark night was there to engulf his all dreams….

Maan cried the silent tears came out of his eyes he looked at a small baby girl who had just started to learn to walk… maan smiled seeing her father handling the baby doll with such utmost care….

Maan : I will be also having my baby in my arms if my so called wife hadn't been a selfish and self centred who only cares for herself… what did you want from me surbhi..you have done everything to destroy me you made me loose as a husband , as a son , and now as a father…. Kam se kam apne man me toh ek baar dekh leti before you threw your own part to die….

Geet was having her son ..his lips were slowly sucking the milk..geet had slowed down the voice of the television who was very well attracting her naughty pie…. Geet was looking at him from the corner of her eyes and he was also doing the same mimicking geet…

Geet threatened him when she saw his eyes on the television ..he was having his eyes glued on tom and jerry…

Geet: abhi me is tv ko band kardungi suna dhruv nahi toh milk finish karo…

It was like he understood..he made a pouting face..his eyes were big and she knew he was glaring at her ….

Geet: don't you show me your big chocolate eyes baby ..i am your ma.. sab janti hun teri badmashi… she tickled him and he quickly quickly sucked the milk urgently ..

After all his ma had made him to drink otherwise no television…. Though his eyes were on geet but the voices were attracting him..his fingers were laced with geet's hand …she was tickling his palm ..and he was throwing his leg… geet knew that he will sleep in a while that what he does when he had a shot but today even after having his milk he was very much active…

Geet looked at the small milk bottle she smiled and burped him…

Geet: very good boy dhruvi..ma ka acha beta..chalo now nini time na..she was patting him and he was doing the same to geet..geet was having a fun time with her angel..who was not ready to sleep …

geet: baby ko need nahi aa rahi..

dhruv immediately made a puppy face…

geet: sachi bahar jaana hai… she asked him and he smiled giggling throwing his blanket

geet: chalo walk ke liye chalte hain then kal we will pack our bags na ..delhi jaana hain na ma aur baby ko….

Maan was going back to his hotel tomorrow he will return back to delhi ..there he had made arrangements for surbhi she wont be able to go away now… he needs to go back now … maan was going when a pram hit his lag…he immediately made it stop and looked at the owner of it… none was there..his eyes went to a big piercing eyes… he was looking expectedly to pick him up…maan took the baby with his all clothes even he made sure he was well wrapped due to this chilly night….he looked at the baby..baby like sensed him..he smiled and made a sweet sound…maan wanted to embrace the little life he looked around no one was here but the baby was wanting his warmth…

He cooed the baby in his strong arms.. the baby instantly came to his embrace seeked his warmth.. a calmness spread over their face…

" baby where is your mumma.. you know good babies do not stay alone…"
