Geet is a woman crushed. Brutally! Sympathy is what I feel for her because I don't think I can ever empathise her pain! How it feels when you've reached a limit. A limit for the test of your self confidence. A blow to your confidence and the limit to endure..! How it feels when the feeling of being unwanted surrounds you. When everything and every person in life you've ever wanted to be with, intentionally or unintentionally, treats you like an unwelcome burden or intruder for so long that you can't take it any more. I cannot, ever for a moment, blame her for not listening to Maan this one time. It's ironic, though, how I've always learnt that just when you give up on something, you're the closest to your destination! The same happened here. Just when Maan accepted his fault and planned to make everything alright - again - Geet gave up!
Jitna bhi Maan ka part tha iss chapter mein, I felt a myriad of emotions towards him. I was amused when he had the nerve to blame Geet for being irresponsible. I was clicking my tongue when he started to be irrational in his anger. At that point, I remembered an elder saying 'ghussa aatey hi aqal khidki se baahar chali jaati hai'! Then his ego came in, preventing him to clear his stance, I got angry on him! Typically MSK! Then when he was remembering his past (sort of), I pitied him. The man had to go through so much that he can be - though not completely - justified for not being able to trust another woman! And when he came to accept the fact that Geet wasn't at fault, I felt respect for him. No jootis for this! 😆 But he was man enough to accept his fault! 😳 When he was talking to Geet's sleeping form, I so wished that she was awake and listening to him say those words! Alas! Some things aren't meant to be!
I can say that this isn't near the present yet! Geet might have gone somewhere but she'll be coming back! After all, a lot still has to happen! 😃
