Geet dropped her pulsing figure on chair. Her eyes fell on forms. A sweet smile decorated on her small angelic face. Maan Singh Khurana !! '' … Friend!! ''... she could not believe. " He is my friend ? '' she breathed. She caressed those letters fondly. Those embossed alphabets was giving her goosebumps, Feel of aliveness, his breathing skin. She felt like, writing those name on hers, on her everything nerves, her every cell should be owned by His ownership, she desired. She pick a red pen and wrote Maan on her little palm. Made some small heart shapes around and decorated her palm like Heena pattern. Again n again, she drew Maan , making it darker and smiled , what she was doing. How time passed she dint know but when heard a knob sound, she snapped , time was over and now , she again had to face Her Friend.

Maan entered, exhausted but when he saw geet, his each line of stress, vanished. She was waiting for him, yet. How he spent time in meeting God knows but when meeting got over, haste out like some teenage boy, runs to meet his first crush. He had some fear feeling what if, she had gone but she was there, for him. He did happy dance inward, and showed a loop side smile apparent.

Geet replied back with smile and both forgot, speaking. What n How .. should speak, both were trying to remember and finally Maan got his tongue back. " umm..geet!! I think we should have lunch '' geet nodded. She arranged lunch on couch table and both took their position. Geet waited for Maan to finish his lunch then she would start but how Maan would let it happen. Both started eating, little happy, little conscious, little shy. Whole time, geet was hiding her Heena , under her Dupatta, not to show him. Their time flew with this little mushy moments and now it was time, for back to His sweet Home.

At Night

Maan was settled on dinner table when his eyes saw something Red on geet palm, while she was serving him food. He frowned, thinking it might was some cut. " geet !! what is it ?? '' he asked, worried. Geet looked him confused but when understood. She hides hand, on her back. " nothing Maanji '' answered.

" show me Geet '' Maan said stern

"kuch nahi hai .. I said na'' she tried to leave.

Maan threw chair back and rushed to her. Caught her hand but geet hides it more tight, behind. " geet show me. What happened? ''

She could see he was getting impatient but it was her little secret. She could not show him but he was adamant. He was worry that she was hurt and now trying to hide it from him, was making him more furious.

" geet let me see Damnit'' he pushed her back and angered. She trembled on chair and was to fall when Maan arm caught her, holding her thin waist. He was shocked, how he pushed her in his anger. His expression was agnostic. His eyes looked her for forgiveness and was questioning " why geet why.. why I cant see your secret. What you hiding from me ? '' his hurt was evident on his face when , geet palm rests on his cheek. Seemed she understood, what he was going through and now, could not see him, dejected. Her eyes dripped in his. Assuring " I am fine Maan !!'' his face became soft.

He made her stand, without leaving her. She pleaded to leave her but he, was not willing, for fulfilling her appeal. She slowly removed his hand from her waist and shut half, her shying eyes. He smirked. This was the position, Nakul found them and cleared his throat, catching their attention. Both composed themselves and resumed their respective works, where Nakul, thanked God, understanding what Babaji, was planning for his Maansir and little sister.

After dinner, Maan was working in hall. Geet brought coffee and kept when her eyes fell on, his laptop. She had introduced with Laptop in School and now, was curious to know more. She went behind Maan and from back, tried to look, how Maan was doing, without making Maan know. But He sensed. He knew Geet gaze was from back, but her attention was not him but his laptop. Now a days, he was able to understand her unsaid and unseen expressions also. He made a plan to involve her, in his professional part, to be near her, more.

" Ouch !! '' he winced.

" What happened Maanji'' geet run to him, worried.

"Nothing geet. I have little pain in my right hand '' Maan said and tried to type when again winced, making Geet more tensed. His plan worked and geet became more worried, what he imagined. " Mai kuch help karu?'' she asked, seeing him struggling for typing.

"hmm.. geet can you type for me'' he came direct on point

"but how I.. I mean I dont know how...'' she hesitated

"geet..there is nothing hard doing this. Just do what I say okk''

She nodded. She sat beside him and took, Laptop from him. Adjusted on her lap. Maan dictated and showed how to type. She did what he narrated. She was slow but was blissful, she was helping Maan.. And Maan was over The Moon, feeling her near him and was making her step in his another important part of life. They spent quality time together, glancing each other and making their Desire granted..

At mid night, Maan pushed geet room door and entered. She was sleeping peacefully, smiling in her dream. Maan slowly came to her bed and bend on her face. He removed her hand, from under of her cheek and saw... His Name was carved … Beautifully... on her palm...
