The innocence was worth watching on those hazel eyes which were looking at the ingredients in the kitchen .. well not to forget her dearest mother in law was standing looking at her each and every gesture .. the way she was mweasuring each and every thing… geet was short but the way she tied her long heavy dupatta on her waist well actually that was suggested by her mother in law… she was sometimes finding it difficult to stir the milk that was boiling in the kitchen but still geet was a fighter she when started to cut the dry fruits mamta stopped her….

Mamta: beta hum karte hai…. Hum kheer ko dekhte hain…

( beta let me do it.. you cut these dry fruits let me stir the kheer…. )

Geet was making kheer since it was easiest… and her mother in law didn't want her to presuurize for something hard to cook though her daughter in law liated the sweet items that she can cook…. Well the list was like she can make gajar halwa , moong dal halwa..and not to forget the coconut barfi..somewhere khurana's were lucky to have a simple and gullible gem like geet but the guilt of ruining a thirteen year old's life was something that was still not acceptables…

Values did have changed but the influence and the position of elders still in families in india cannot be changed…. Maan's parents were helpless but will they be able to change the perspective of the young seventeen year old maan.. one side he was having an important phase of his life his teenage his life hisstudies… his adolsence that was brutally taken away from him… other side he was made to continue the marital phase of his life that was still not the age and phase that he should consider….

Geet was about to taste the kheer when her hands halted in mid… she immediately put the spoon down.. she was consciously adding the sugar…..

Geet murmered : sorry…hum bhool gaye the..jhoota nahi karna chahiye….. she bit her lip sand looked down consiously.. this was what she had seen her mother and her aunt doing back at home..no one looked in the eyes of the elders ..never argue…

( sorry .. I forget that I should taste it ….)

Mamta: rukiya geet… thodi kheer nikaal dijiye… kam meete ki..maan nahi kahenge warna….

( wait geet… let me take some..else maan wont have it…)

Geet nodded and prepared the sweet while the other breakfast was prepared by her MIL and servants and geet was looking skeptically at her mil's every move… she was though not interested in cooking but the important phase of a married life cant be ignored by geet ..though mamta told her to go outside but geet refused….

Maan came sweating heavily ..his towel wrapped around his neck… maan greeted his grandparents touched thei feet..well offcourse maan was angry on them..but know his little wifey 's innocent and cute face made him quite..he was geet was also having swaet beads again she was wrapped up like a porcelain doll.. maan saw her struggling with the duppatta… though her raw beauty was enhanced in the tradiditional wear but the comfort was missing….

Maan st: how can they do this to her….and geet where are her senses cant she see she is not at all comfortable in those clothes I should do something .. yup..thats right..maan take her for shopping and get her the clothes which can make her comfortable…

His gaze went to his family…..

TRADITION… CULTURE … RITUAL….

Again these words were making his hands tied….

Maan looked at her..geet was helping the servants to lay the dining table…well his anger reached its peak….

Maan in an angry voice made everyone to stop on their tracks…..

Maan: why are you doing this …he shouted at geet making her to shiver and she was having unshed tears..again someone was scolding her… she was about to burst into cry… when maan again scolded know this time the servants… well he was hot headed guy this all marriage fiasco he ha already given his family a big headache… maan was against but they tricked him….

Maan: why is she doing the works..what are you people for….mom… his voice ecohed in the whole mansion..

Well that was THE MAAN SINGH KHURANA… maan 's care and concern was know making geet shiver she was know crying…. Her tears were wetting her cheeks…. Her husband was not good that was what geet's heart was chattering.. he was scary for her… shhe couldn't even relate to him know..he was not the person with whom she was last night..one side her arm was paining and on the other side his anger..tears were furiously flowing….

Mamta saw maan ..she first send all the servants … and took the dish from geet's hand….and then show her eyes to maan…

Mamta: maan… go and get freshed now….

Then she saw geet she was crying …mamta was shocked…

She wiped geet's taers..

Mamta: geet beta why are you crying…geet didn't know what to do she lept in her MIL's arms and started crying … he r sobs were getting high..she was crying like a child who was scolded for eating chocolate…. While maan looked at her from upstairs..and felt bad for making her scare…. Her red arm made him aware again….

Mamta: geet… maan ne kuch kaha..geet innocently nodded..while crying… she took her dil with her and made her wash her face….

( geet did maan said anything…)

Mamta: aap chinta mat kijiye maan ko hum dekh lenge… unki itni majaal aapko kuch kahen…

(shhh.. don't cry baby I will look after maan…how dare he say anything to my geet..)
