Part 14

Geet came out. glanced around. Everyone was busy. she was very nervous whom to ask. she saw a desk and a girl, sitting behind . Geet collected her whole strength and headed there

" suniye " she called

girl saw Geet then head to toe. she smirked " boliye " she mocked.

" wo Maanji... Maanji ko coffee chahiye " Geet said hesitantly

" toh. what I do .. m not his maid like you. jaakar khud bana lo " girl spoke rudely. She saw people started gathering. She was feeling very odd but she had to ask otherwise Maan would be angry more. She again tried to ask but no one answered properly. She felt some male gaze on her. She moved back and walk to cabin when heard, someone calling from behind. " suno " Geet turned back and saw a chubby girl, stood near same desk , waving to her. she could not decide she should make a step to her or not but thinking, its office and all were educated and big people, she should not disobey them. she headed her.

" you want coffee na " girl asked. Geet nodded. " lets go mai help karti hu .. btw m pinky. tum kon ho"

" Geet"

" oo woow bahut acchha naam hai. lets go " both went cafeteria. pinky showed her how to make coffee n other things. Geet was learning everything very well. she was enjoying this all when pinky asked about her . Geet hesitantly told her background.

pinky- aree so what if you are alone. look Geet if you are alone means god has given you right, to choose your family your self na.. . if you want we can become sisters.. hai na" she tried to make Geet cheerful.

Geet smiled. she felt better. " aapke ghar me kon kon hai

" mai nad my dad " pinky replied. " accha Geet tumne kaha tak padhai ki hai "

class 7 tak " Geet replied ...

" aree Geet.. isme sad kyu hona. its good na at least you studied. "

Geet nodded. she looked around. people were working, chatting. she felt good " kash mai bhi ase kaam kar sakti .. you know pinky , I always wanted to study and job.. but " she said.

" then Geet why dont you start your study again " pinky suggested. Geet looked her confused. " look Geet you dont work whole day na so why dont you start self study. I ll help you "

Geet felt over joyed. " sach !! "" she was excited like a child. " per I dont have books "

" oo ho Geet.. mai hu na. look I have some books of my niece. I will give you those "

Geet wanted to hug her. she was very happy. yes she could start study again. so they decided, pinky would go to km after Maan leaving and give her books. Geet was very happy after long, finding a good friend in pinkey. They chatted morte and in term Geet asked her, what should she do for saying thank you to a man. Pinkey suggested to give card. Geet decided she would buy a card for Maan.

Meanwhile

Maan opened his eyes. he looked around. he remembered Geet n all fiasco. he searched for her but she was not in cabin. " ab ye larki kaha chali gayi " he self talked. he came out and asked a employee then headed to cafeteria. he was on stair when heard some giggles. he stepped slowly to catch who was laughing then caught a beautiful sight. Geet was laughing whole heartily. first time since he saw her, she was laughing. it was a pleasant sight to see. she was looking so cute and innocent. even in her poor cloth, he was looking most richest person with shiny heart. " why she dont laugh in home " suddenly his mind questioned. " she should.. she looks good smiling " he stood there for quite long. Afterward, came out of his dazed thought and called " Geet "

Both Geet n pinky stopped laughing. both looked down. pinky left excusing. " what you doing here " he asked, stood crossing his arm.

" woh..coffee bana rahi thi " she answered stammering.

" kiske liye " he asked. he was not remembered what he said in daze

" ji! ! " she looked him confused. " aapne hi to kaha tha " she said innocently..

" maine kab kaha " he questioned him, more then her. " hmm koi baat nahi.. ban gayi hai to do " she handed him cup. he sipped and felt good taste. " hmm achhi hai " she smiled... both came back in cabin.

Both were to leave to km when Maan got a call and again he had to stay in office. Here Geet was getting horribly bore , she was hell hungry and also she had to buy card for him. Though she was scared but as pinky said not to buy any love card. Only thank you card so she convinced. She had money which nakul gave but Maan dint let her leave alone.

"Maanji'' she again called him, last time trying to let her permission to go alone.

"Geet I said no.. you are not going alone samjhi '' he said reAding his file. Geet made faces and also became irritated due to starve. " per mujhe bhukh lagi hai '' she blabbered little loud, instantly shut her mouth with duppatta. "nahi woh.. ase hi '' she tried to cover up but Maan glare made her half dead.

" why dint you say before'' he spoke making her amazed. " lets go'' he closed files, packed his things and ordered her to come. She thought he would again hold her hand, but he signaled to follow. She walked behind him, looking down. Staffs could not stare them due to Maan anger. Geet was wanting to be in shadow of him, tried to match step with his, reached to lift. They reached to car and started toward km...

In car, Geet wanted to buy card but could not ask Maan to stop car. With pale heart she reached km. Maan ordered nakul to set table quick and went to get fresh. " Maan Sir aur khane ke liye jaldi.. wo bhi iss waqt !! '' nakul was surprised when Maan returned back and sat on chair. Nakul served him and left. Maan searched Geet but she was not around. He asked nakul . He said she is in her room. Maan told him to call Geet. Geet came and stood before Maan, staring food. She was in her room, waiting Maan to eat first then she could have. " Geet baitho '' Maan said.

Both nakul nd Geet looked Maan confused and surprised. She could not guess what he meant.

" dint you hear Geet.. I said sit and have your food ''

Geet looked nakul, then Maan. " nahi Maanji mai baad me kha lungi'' she tried to leave but Maan anger increased. She hesitantly sat before his chair and started serveing. Her hand was shaking. Maan looked it and brushed off. They had their food quietly and left to respective works...
