A World of Our Own
Part 4:
"Oops, Geet control, control yourself!" I thought to myself while smiling widely like an idiot to Mark. "Yes baby, that's what I called you na? I called you Mark. What are you blabbering?" I told him and pretended to make him feel that he have heard wrongly.
"Okay…So shall we go? Or do you want to spend time indoors instead? Do not get me wrong. You are dressed in your night clothes. So perhaps you want to stay indoors?" He asked me with one of his eyebrows raised up.
After thinking about for few seconds, I decided perhaps we should spend some time at home. I was already jumping with excitement within that Mark and MG have turned to be the same person. "Yes, please come in baby." I told him. He walked into my house and I closed the door behind and walked to his side and said "Let me get some hot tea or coffee darling" I was about to walk over to my kitchen when I felt grip my wrist.
"Baby, I do not want coffee or tea. I want you. Come let's sit on your couch and have some good talk. And do not lie to me that you didn't call me MG. Who or what is MG?" He said as he hugged me from the back.
"No one okay. Come let's sit and talk." I said as I moved out from his embrace and guided him to my sofa. "I must admit to you, you look "wow". You are so beautiful." Mark said and gave me a kiss on my cheek.
I blushed and looked down in shyness. "Oh my baby is feeling shy. Come close to me here."He said and pulled me close to him. Suddenly he whispered in my ear. "Tell me na, at least what MG stands for?"
"Oh no, why can't he leave this topic for now? Err.. Geet what are you going to tell him?" I thought to myself. "Baby, why are you so quiet? Nevermind, I shall not force you. Oh baby, you just look so familiar. You look very similar to the lady I saw in the mandir yesterday. Strange isn't it?" he said while rubbing my hands with his thumb.
"Bingo. So he have not forgotten the fact that he saw me." I thought to myself. "Mark, it was me whom you saw yesterday. I saw you and was stunned at your dashing looks. MG means Mandir Guy." I said to him and looked down again to avoid his heated graze on me.
"Bikul nahi. MG means Maan Geet. What you say my jaan?" and he gave me a hug. "Mark, I thought you do not want to be called as Maan?" I asked questioningly. "Yes jaanu. I do not want you to be reminded that you are speaking with a business tycoon and thus I asked you to call me Mark instead. I mean it makes things easier isn't it? The recognition and power that comes attached along with my name would not get in the way of our relationship right? But of course if you want to address me as Maan I do not mind love." he told me while patting my hair.
"hmmm."I responded lazily as I hugged him tight and felt sleep hitting my again. "Jaan, you are dozing off. Let me carry you to your room.Show me the directions."he said. I felt him carry me up in his arms. I pointed out the direction to my room and Mark, no, my Maan took me to my room.
In my room, Maan set me on my bed and pulled up covers. He was about to walk away. I suddenly grabbed his hand and gave him a hard pull and he landed on my bed. With all tiredness and sleepiness, "love, where are you going? My bed is big enough for the two of us. You can rest here till it's time to get up and later we can go out somewhere nice." I told him with my hand placed on his cheek. He nodded a yes and placed a kiss on my forehead. He rolled over to the other side of the bed and laid beside me. I felt my whole world completed with the love of my life beside me. With a smile I fell asleep hugging my Maan.
