FF:Fate has its own way - Thread 2-part 16

Its been one month since the goa trip . maan had become extremely busy with his office works so is vaibhav who taken charge in office after his medical leave . geet also started helping him full fledged . arjun and annie who are now back to US had started making arrangements for shifting their office in india . the only those who were free were dadima and chitra .

It was a typical day .. chitra had went to the near by shiva temple and accidentally got to see dadima . chitra smiled and moved towards her and bent down and touched her feet. Dadima was equally surprised to see her ..

Dadima : jeethe raho beta . aap yaha kya kar rahe he ?? aur sab kaha hai ??

Chitra smiled and they sat near by the steps : kya bathao maa ?? Everyone is so busy with their schedules . am the only one who is sitting simple at home . that's why I came to temple to spend some time here ..

Dadima left a sigh : that's the same thing happening to me .

Chitra : kya hwa maa ?? aap kuch parishan lag raha hai ??

Dadima : I don't know what will I do with this maan , chitra . see others of his age are already settled and even on their way to get a second child . but he is not even ready to get married . Leave alone marriage , he is not even seeing girls . I highly doubt if he is a gay or something ..

Chitra's eyes looked as ifit was about to pop out : maa , relax dot get tensed . I ll ask vaibhav to speak to him .

Dadima : its of no use chitra . Ok leave this ' have you started looking rishta for geet ??

Now it was chitra's turn to leave a sigh : she says she don't want to talk of marriage now ..

Dadima : its always a worry for parents when their child reach the marriageable age .. we want them to settle down to a good family when we are fit and fine but children's of this age , don't understand our problems and start speaking of their freedom , this and that ' tum ek kaam karo chitra , you guys come over for dinner today . I want to talk about something important to you and vaibhav today . aur haan , bring geet and pinky also with you ..

Chitra nooded getting the clue dadima was hinting at : please don't take tension maa . we ll come around 7 today '

After discussing something , they both left to their home awaiting for the dinner time to come '.

At evening

Chitra had called vaibhav letting him know of the plans and asked him to come home as soon as possible .

Vaibhav : what chitra ? why did you ask me come home so earlier ?? there still time left for the dinner . I dint even get to inform geet . she had gone to maan's office to attend a meeting for the upcoming new project .

Chitra : arey baba .. I know about it .. I want to say something else to you . first you get freshened up . till then I ll call pinky and geet to let them know ..

In the mean time , chitra called geet . geet who was in a meeting with maan dint notice it since it was kept in silent mode . but maan saw some fliker in light . there was no one else in the cabin other than geet and maan . so he let her attend the call .

Maan : geet , its your phone ringing ..

It was only then she noticed the call and said : maa ?? she wont be calling me in office hrs ..

Maan : anyways attend the call .. may be something important ..

Geet noded and picked up the call : hello maa ??

Chitra : geet can you come home early today ?

Geet was confused : early ?? but why ??? is everything fine at home ??

Chitra : don't worry everything is fine .. just wanna let you know that maa had invited us for dinner .. so you need to get ready for it ..

Geet smiled : maa , am in a meeting with maan . its very important as the presentation is scheduled 2 days from today .. so I wont be start early ' why don't I join you guys directly there ??

Chitra : okay do something but don't be late '. I ll take your paa and pinky with me ..

Geet : teek hai maa . mei phone rakthi hoon .

With that she cut the call and let maan know of the sudden dinner plan .

Geet : maan , dadima had invited us for dinner ..

Maan was equally confused : so suddenly that she dint even tell me ..

Geet : ok what ever leave it , lets continue with this meeting .. we need finish this within 7 .. I told maa that I ll join them directly at your home .

Maan looked at the time . it was 5:30PM . they had only 1:30 hrs to finish the designs and leave home . just then maans secretory called and left him a message that dadima had invited some guests for dinner and wants him home soon .

Maan made a detective face : am sure dadima is planning something geet .

Geet laughed : maan don't think too much ' as of now lets finish these designs soon ..

Maan : hmmm '

Time flew soon and vaibhva , chitra and pinky reached Khurana mansion .

Dadima welcomed them and hugged vaibhav : how are you beta ?? chitra told you have resumed going to office ??

Vaibhav : haa maa . how long can I sit at home and order your darling chitra ??? I had to go to office before she kicks me out .

Everyone laughed except chitra .

Pinky could not stop her laugher : good one pa ..

Chitra marched towards him and said : definetly I gonna kick you out of the house at night .

Viabhav gave her a bewildered look and daima just intervened them .

Daidma : enough of fights .now come one I have to talk something to both of you . pinky beta , why don't you go and enjoy TV while we talk for sometime .

Pinky understood that they gonna have some personal talk just nooded and left to the guest room '

Dadima gestured chitra and vaibhav to follow her in the room ' they were discussing something very serious and anyone could guess just by looking at them . by the time they came out , maan and geet also came back from office ..they were very tired and just sat in the sofa resting their head in the back rest .

Geet noticed dadi and took her blessings .

Dadi : jeethe raho beta .

Geet smiled : good to see you dadima after a month ..

Dadi : hmmm .. am sure you would not have come home for another month , if I had not arranged for the dinner today . she turned towards maan and said : and maan you ?? I have last seen before a week . you leave to office before I could come down and at night after I sleep .

Maan was about to say something but dadi cut in again : I don't want any more arguments . look how tired you guys are . now go and freshup both of you and come down for dinner .

With that both maan left for his room while geet to the guest room and freshened up .

With in no time everyone were having their dinner admist of fun and joy '''..

may be if i am not wrong she wants maaneet to get married but what about geet will she be able to move on ?
