"He is my son Maan. Dev is my son. Please let him go!" PV cried holding his feet. Maan put on a stern face while Geet wondered what will be Maan's decision. Maan was shocked. 'How could Dev be PV's son?' He wondered. He could still hear PV's moans and cries near his feet. "Maan Please let me go. I promise I wont come back here. Never ever. Please!" Dev pleaded crying. At the back of his mind, Maan could still hear Dev's irritating pleas. "What should I do? Is Dev trust-worthy?" Maan wondered. PV finally got up wiping her tears. "Look PMM ..." PV addressed Maan seeing him not responding to her pleas. "Not as a Marsian but as a Mother I am begging you my son Dev's life !" She joined her hands infront of him. Maan could hear a voice at the back of his mind. Geet had created a mental connection with Maan. "Maan I am with you. Though I feel that monster should not be forgiven Still the decision depends on you Maan!" She said through her mental connection. "I love you Maan. I will always be with you." She said squeezing his shoulder coming near him. "I love you too Geet! I will take the right decision my love! " Maan said ending the connection. ***** Maan stared at PV thoughtfully. He looked at Dev who was writhing in pain and pleading to leave him. He looked at faces of all who were looking at him expectantly to take the right and just decision. His eyes finally rested on those of the reason of his life- Geet! She gave him an assuring look as if promising him to stand by him in any decision he took. Maan sighed at last. He had to take this decision. He briefly glanced at Sordo and KV and nodded his head. ***** Maan drew in his breath and closed his eyes. He bent down on his knees picking PV up by her shoulders. "You are like my mother PV" Maan said controlling his tears as Annie sat beside him comforting him. "You have taken care of my sister when I wasnot there for her" Maan still felt guilty for his absence in Mars before. He hugged Annie and PV and cried. "We all love you and respect you and your decisions PV!" He got up. "You dont need to beg infront of me PV!" He said holding her hand, "But this Dev..." He stood up steeling up his emotions, "His sins are unforgivable!" He said looking at Annie. PV clutched his leg pleading him. "But as the ruler of Mars I think like every other being he deserves another chance!" Maan declared staring at Geet and Annie. Drops of tears rolled down Annie's cheeks. She hid her face in his shoulder hugging him. "Just for your sake PV I am leaving him...!" Saying so Maan turned back walking away while partly hugging crying Annie.
Geet stood numb for a few moments. She was not satisfied with Maan's decision. She felt something lacking. Nevertheless she started away along with Maan by his side holding his hand. PV let out a sigh of relief as she sat by Dev carressing his head. "I had lost you once my child,I didnt have it in me to lose you again Dev!" Maan heard PV but chose to remain silent. Dev could feel his whole body burning letting them go. 'No he couldnt let them go' He thought. Dev eyed the ice daggers lying nearby which Maan had brought with him to kill Dev but threw them away whilst their fight. Dev smirked watching KV and Sordo going away. He pushed off PV as he rushed towards the daggers picking them up. "Dev!" PV whispered. She was shocked to find the Dev not having changed a bit for whom she begged infront of Maan. Dev rushed towards Maan and Geet clutching the daggers in both of his hands.
"MAAN!" "GEET!" PV shouted warning both of them. Maan immediately pushed Annie towards KM who hugged and held her securely. Maan pulled Geet by her hand and cocooned her in his embrace. The daggers were inches away from his skin though scratching him a bit. Dev was held back by Sordo and KV. "I wont leave you!" Dev screamed. Maan held Geet tighter as he remembered his plan. *****
Maan briefly glanced at Sordo and KV. The trio created a mental connection with each other. "KV what do you think?"
"We should leave him for the sake of PV!"
"But Master why is he glowing?"
Maan went silent for some time.
"Yes Sordo you are right! What if he is faking it? KV?"
"Quite possible!"
"We need to make PV realize about Dev!"
"But how Master? Any plan?"
"Yes Sordo!"
"You both will remain behind as I take away Geet. As soon as he moves away from PV and almost about to attack us, you both will hold him back!" "Got it Sordo? KV?"
"Yes Master" "Yes PMM!"
"This way PV can know what a monster he is!" Maan thought ending the connection. *****
"Did you see PV? You were begging for this monster?" Maan asked angrily while PV had her eyes downcast.
"I am sorry Maan! I am really sorry!" PV broke down crying."I was asking for the life of such a person who is a monster!" PV stood up and slapped Dev hard. "YOU DESERVE ONLY TO ROT DEV!" She screamed and ran outside.
"SO DEV!" Maan looked at Dev with sheer hatred and disgust. Geet stood numb with the sudden turn of events. "For all the sins the tortures the treachery you have committed you are being punished to rot in XDG- The Enormous Black Hole for the rest of your life" Maan smirked at Dev who looked shocked and dumbstruck.
"I WONT LEAVE YOU MAAN AND GEET! I WILL RETURN!" He screamed as he was dragged and carried away to a place from where even death cannot escape.
Just then they heard a THUD sound as they turned and found Geet on the ground unconscious.
"GEEETTT!"
