Both dadi n mohindar turned and saw maan' standing there' crossing his arm, confident and determined'.
Mohindar- maan beta, mai aapko kuch batana chahta hu ' said hesitated
Maan- I know everything uncle. Aur mujhe isse koi matlab nahi hai .. I love geet and I want to marry her .. '' said looking in mohindar eyes' convincing him.. he know everything.
Mohindar- fir bhi beta, ek baar meri baat'
maan- dadi.. aap shadi ki taiyaari kijiye. ' he said with soft expression. Then he turned to mohindar ' uncle you don't worry. Geet ke saath job hi hua it was not her mistake. Aur mujhe isse koi matlab nahi hai.. mujhe matlab apni aane wali zindgi se hai .. aur I promise you uncle I will always keep her happy. Kabhi , koi dukh nahi aane dunga meri geet ko
Mohindar smiled in tears. He went to dadi and joint his hand, showing his gratitude. Dadi stopped him " ye kya kar rahe hai aap mohindarji .. lucky toh hum hai jo hume geet jesi beti mili '' dadi knew something was there in geet past but she also guessed maan know this. And when he is happy aur mujhe aur kuch nahi chhiye'" she thought

It was early morning. Maan was standing near window, crossing arm, resting his head on window, looking out. Morning rising sun making surrounding serene. He was lost in his thought when mohindar came and patted his shoulder. " maan beta"
"ji uncle" maan said trying to hide his emotions but mohindar saw. " mai beta woi want to tell you everything.
Maan saw mohindar was hesitating and was very uncomfortable. He dint want to make him more embarrassed so interrupted " uncle please.. aapko kuch kahne ki jarurat nahi hai. I know everything..
Mohindar was confused , maan know everything..but how ?? " maan ye sab aapko kaise pata chala ??
Maan said raghav told him. Mohindar got more confused " per beta how raghav knew all this !! no one know this except me and '
"kya nahi jaante maan ?? '' dadi asked from behind. She heard half conversation when she came to see maan. " maan .. aap hume batayenge baat kya hai .. hum kal se dekh rahe hai. aap humse kuch chupa rahe hai ' dadi was now angry
Maan now could not hide from her. He told her everything. Dadi shocked . she couldn't believe. She looked mohindar who was lost some where.. "mohindar ji..kya ye sach hai ??'' dadi asked in concern. But mohindar dint reply
Dadi n maan both looked mohindar. "uncle !! " maan called him patting his shoulder
"hnn" mohindar came back in sense. He looked maan and then dadi " kya kaha maan beta aapne ?? geet had been forced ?? ""
Maan looked down in embarrassment when mohindar said " ye jhuth hai .. its not true !!
Both dadi and maan looked him shocked and confused. " haa savitriji .. ye sab jhuth hai . geet is pure. mera bishwas kijiye " he looked maan " maan beta ..aap in sab baato per biswaas mat kijiye.. " maan looked him numb. Mohindar turned and said " savitri ji ab mai aapse kuch nahi chipa sakta . I want to tell everything.. wo geet'.. ''
Maan was light, relieved. He he was feeling like thousands tons burden left him. he dint hear after that what mohindar said.. he moved back and back and run to geet. he dint hear what mohindar said about geet mother, that she is alive .. he dint hear what happened to her and geet when darji threw them from haveli of hoshiyarpur after her husband (geet father) death. Her husband who was darji own son but married to lower cast girl rano (geet mother) .. he dint listen how rano had to work as maid in a house'. And how that house owner son had creepy eyes on immature geet' he dint hear how rano saved geet from those lustful eyes and almost gave her own life in fire'. He dint listen anything but one heard everything. Dadi heard everything and was shocked . how it could be possible. How a child girl could have these violent fate.. she was baffled. She could not bear even hearing then how that innocent child suffered so much in this naive age. But it was nothing in front what mohindar said ahead'

Maan run and barked in geet room but she was not there. He looked everywhere but could not find. "whare is she ?!!
Then he hears a sweet humming. he went to balcony and looked down. Geet was there, humming, drying her wet fresh shampoo hair. She was looking like fresh dew, unfolded flower.. she was looking like full moon shine..like dawn sun spreading its magic everywhere. He kept looking her. he smiled. She was so cute and pure. "I will always keep you like this geet.. I promise "' maan vowed'
She was smiling. her smiled remembered maan last night. Last night when he opened his eyes and saw her. her face was inched closer of his. Her breath was falling on his face. It was warm. He wanted to cherish this moment forever. He wanted to see her like this till eternity. " mujhe koi farak nahi parta geet what happened in your past.. I just want to become yours, a part of yours. You are my life and owner of my death geet.. I will surrender my whole existence in your feet.. for your single smile. You are reason of my happiness and my sorrow.. my life depends on your life only.. I love you geet, love you so much... ''
Mohindar turned and saw dadi with teary eyes. Dadi was offended. She was not finding word to say. She was dumbstruck when mohindar said " savitriji.. I know I should have told you everything before but ..please believe me I tried many time but could find any way to tell. Ye sab itna jaldi me hua ki mujhe bilkul samjh nahi aaya mai aapko kase batau.. please mujhe maaf kar dijiye " he jointed his hand...he expected dadi to say something.. something which would heal his burning heart.. something which would balm his aching body... he waited n waited... and then dadi said... said which tore his life apart...
