Excel and maurya two of the most popular colleges of Mumbai situated across road with former having rich high-class boys as student and latter having extremely talent hard-working girls as students, yet having friendly ties, students of both colleges used to roam in either of them freely.

That's how they first met and then their journey began

Flashback begins

maan's pov

During the start of the final semester before a psychology exam I went to the maurya library to study for 2 reasons-first, our own library was always crowded and second was pretty girls.

I made way to the library helpdesk were I saw her wearing a red churidar suit and doing some work on computer while playing with basketball which for some reason attracted me.

Doll I called out and asked her cognitive psychology by Robert Sternberg .she stopped her work and looked at me and asked are you from excel ?

Yes, any problem with that? I replied

Yes, you guys have a big library with around 90,000 books yet you guys come to our library which as around 30,000 books to study. You know what Richie rich I know that you guys only come here not to study but to stare and drool on girls she said

Well I admit my true reason for studying in maurya was girls but to admit this in front of a girl who understands the psyche of a guy was a no-no. She should be a psychiatrist I thought and then replied her No it is not truth

Listen, Richie rich you are not smart as you think you are

I interrupt her in between and said no I am smart as can't listen to such things about myself by a smarty like her.

See you can't even admit the truth, you are a fool and I won't go out for coffee date with you she said

I wouldn't take you out for a coffee date doll and I am not a fool I replied and asked her why she thinks of me as a fool.

Because you won't take me out for a coffee date she replied

Ok fine doll will you go out on a coffee date with me today? I asked her

Sure, after 5:30 as my working hour will end by then she replied

Cool I said and went to take the book and study for the exams. After sometime I felt her gaze on me and looked at her.

geet's pov

As I saw him going to studying I don't know why I was staring at him instead of doing my work and check him out, he was looking dashing in a black shirt with 3 buttons open and blue jeans. I blushed for a while and then saw him looking at me for a while; I instantly knew that he knew that I was staring at him; embarrassed I started doing my work waiting for clock to struck 5:30.

maan's pov

Did I just saw her blushing but why was she blushing looking at me I thought. Of course, she had checked me out and no one can resist maan singh khurana's charm even a smarty like her. God when will time struck 5:30 I wondered and went back to study for once I actually studied and not for once looked at the girls.

At last 5:30 I thought and closed my book and kept it back on the self and went to the helpdesk only to see that smarty doll was engrossed in her work and her open hair irritating her

Unknowingly I started staring at her .She looks ultra adorable when her hair flies on her face I thought and then mentally smacked myself

Dude she is a smarty who is not your type of girl I told myself and then again stared at her

I immediately controlled myself and called out to her

Doll could you just hurry up for the date?

She looked up for a second put her hair behind her ear and then started to work again

What the hell I thought and snapped my fingers in front of her eyes

Geet's pov

After staring at him for a long period of time I finally got engrossed in my work but I started imagining him around myself while he sat and study

I was irritated by my loose hair which was troubling me and the fact that I was thinking about that Richie rich when I heard

doll could you just hurry up for the date?

Did Richie rich just called me out and ask me to hurry I thought and looked up

Convinced that I was imagining him I again got engrossed in worked when he snapped his fingers in front of my eyes

You, what are you doing here? I asked him

Doll its 5:30 and we have a date remember he said

I hate it when everyone calls me doll but, its sounds so good from him I thought

Oh yeah I forgot I lied how can I forget I was waiting for it

Give me a minute I said and got free from my work

maan's pov

Great so miss smarty forgot about our date while I am too excited for it I thought

I was lost in my thoughts when she came and called out to me

Shall we proceed?

Ya sure and we made our way to the exit

So how are we going and where? She asked

We are going to caf treat by my car I replied back and we made our way to the parking lot where my bmw stood

Is this your car Richie rich? She again asked

God why is she calling me Richie rich I need to ask her

Yeah I replied

You are such a show-off i am not going by your car she declared

I am not a show-off and if you are not going by my car then how are we supposed to go? by a local train? I sarcastically asked her

Not a bad idea Richie rich you are not as dumb as I thought you are. Shall we proceed? She replied and started to move ahead

I look at her disbelieving and then follow her

We were in the train when someone pushed her from back and she landed in my arms, I was totally lost in her eyes

Geet 's pov

I was feeling blissful in his strong arms and was staring in his hazel eyes which were so expressive when I heard someone saying that our station arrived I realized and broke the eye lock

Richie rich we need to get down I said to him

He looked lost to me I pinched him a lightly

What? He asked

Get down I said and then we got down and walk towards cafe treat

We decided to sit near the pool

What would you like to have? He asked me

Cold coffee and I replied

He ordered 2 cod coffee and a piece chocolate cake with ice cream

Who are you trying to impress by ordering a cake? I asked him

No one he replied I know girls like chocolate cake

Really how come? I again asked him

I go out on lots of date he replied I felt bad

Maan 's pov

I felt bad saying this to her but I didn't want to lie to her

To chance the topic I asked her why she calls me Richie rich

Because you are a rich spoilt brat she replied

What the hell she thinks of me as a spoilt brat what a bad impression I have on her I thought

No I am not rich and spoilt, I m a poor and simple guy I replied

She laughed and replied no I am poor and simple girl

God she looks dead gorgeous when she laughs I thought

Ok fine I am rich but, I am not spoilt I said

Leave it and tell me why do you call me doll? She asked me

Simple smarty you look like one why I call you doll got it I replied

Yeah but why do you call smarty? She again asked me

I smirk and replied the reason to call you that is you behave smartly

We share a smile and again silence broke between us

I hate this silence between us so I decided to break the silence

You know we are on a date and we still don't know each other names I said to her

Really as if I didn't notice that she replied

God doll would kill me one day with smart replies I thought

Geet's pov

My name is geet chadda I am a music student I told him just then our ordered arrived

He replied while sipping his coffee my name is maan singh khurana, a social science student

Maan singh khurana, you mean the grandson of maharaja mihir sngh khurana of Bombay who gifted the library to excel I exclaim

He annoying replied yes I am the same person

Do you hate being linked to the royal family? I asked him

Yes, because I like being known for what I am and not for whose grandson or son I am he replied

So Richie rich hates being known as a royal grandson and want to be known for what he is actually and for his achievements, impressive I thought

So, he gifted a library to excel so that his loser grandson could take it for granted I commented

Listen, doll if you thought of me as a loser then why the hell did you force me to bring you on a date? He asked me annoyingly

Because I liked your body I replied

He started to blush a little which made me smile widely I don't know why but I wanted to tease him

I didn't knew you are a shy boy who loves to blush I said and teased him

maan's pov

Cool so doll is teasing me well two can play a game

I also didn't knew you were a bold type of girl who loves teasing boys I teased back

Now it was her turn to blush, her blush was a killer

We chatted for a while and then went back

While walking her to her home I slowly held her hand

She stopped looked at our hands and then at me and asked

Did I allow you to hold my hand?

No but, you didn't denial also I replied and passed a januable smile

She made a face

Finally I was winning on her but this is not enough determinedly I asked her

Are you interested in basketball?

No I am not interest in any type of sport she replied

Will you go to a basketball match with me tomorrow? I again asked her

Why would I go to a stupid match? She questioned back

It will not be a stupid match I told her

Why? She asked

Because I am playing I relied

For which team are you playing for? She asked after a brief silence

Excel, it's a excel vs. virus match I replied

Ok I will come she said

I was so happy hearing that I felt butterflies dancing in my stomach

We reached her apartment I wanted to kiss and hug her but I controlled my desire and looked at her eyes I guess she too wanted the same

We bid goodbyes and I came back to my apartment excited about tomorrow
