PART 1:

Maan came downstairs dressed in a designer black suit, he wore a black shirt n a red tie. He was looking stunning, mind blowing, totally out of this world. Any and every single girl would wish that time had stopped so that they can stare at this handsome hunk.

Dadima: Maan you're ready?

Maan: yes Dadima, I should be leaving.. Raj has already rang me 15 times

Dadima: convey my best wishes to Raj and his wife, I would have also joined you but my health does not permit me

Maan: I know Dadima, and Raj understands, but I will still pass on your wishes

Dadima (thinks for a while): Maan when will I get to see you dressed as a groom?

Maan: Dadima: you started again?

Dadima: Maan, all I want is to see you settled in life, at least only then i'll be able to leave this world peacefully and tell your parents that you are safe and well settled in life and most importantly not alone.

Dadima: Maan, aap ghar ke bade beta hai, and your still unmarried, your younger brother Dev is already married.. He has a 4 year old daughter and another baby on the way. Anwesha will also find someone soon, what about you Maan?

Maan stayed quiet which is what he always does when this topic is discussed. He looked at the clocked and realised he is extremely late.

Maan: Dadima I am getting really late, you please take care, eat your dinner on time and medicines.

Naintara walks into the room.

Naintara: Maan bhai you don't worry, main hoon na, i'll take care of Dadima.

Maan: hmm, but you also don't stress yourself out.. Dev will be home soon from office. (Maan leaves).

Dadima: Naintara what do you think, will Maan ever find someone in life?

Naintara: Dadima, I am 100% positive that there is a girl out there made for Maan bhai and the day she comes in front of him, those feeling that he has blocked off with all this office and work stress, he will understand love, and how important it is in life to love someone and to know that person equally loves you. We just have to wait for that day when that special girl will enter Maan bhai's life.

Dadima: I hope that day comes soon; in fact I wish that today at Raj's wedding Maan meets the girl of his dream. The girl who will teach him to live again.

Raj weds Priya, what was written on a huge board and was beautifully decorated with flowers and balloons.

Maan walks through the crowd, ignoring all the comments the young girls were passing on him.

Girl 1: OMG aint he so hot..!!!

Girl 2: someone called the ambulance

Girl 3: I hope he's single

Girl 4: who is this hot dude?

And the comments were never ending, he managed to pass those crazy girls and went up on the stage to wish the wedded couple.

Raj: Idiot, what time do you call this?

Maan: sorry dude.

Raj: keep your sorry to yourself, i'll get you back for this later.

Maan (smirks): i'll be waiting

Raj: shut up and now meet my wife.

Raj: Priya meet my bust buddy from childhood.. Maan. Maan Singh Khurana. And Maan this Priya. My wife.

Maan: Congratulation Priya

Priya: thank you, I have heard a lot about you from Raj and of course the media and not to forget my crazy friends there (she pointed towards those girls who were dead seeing Maan).

Maan: those girls are your friends?

Priya: hehehehe yeah. They are totally crazy about you.

Raj: Maan shall I call them here? We can have like a, what do you call it.. Swayamvar.. Maan Ki Dulhan

Raj and the other guys on the stage start laughing.

Maan: whatever. And no..!!! Those girls NO way bro.

At the end side of the stage a girl dressed in a lovely white anarkali suit with a simple pearl earring was chasing a little girl.

Girl: Simi stop, you're gonna get hurt beta..stop right now.

Simi: no catch me first (she stuck her tongue out)

Girl: Simi if you don't stop right now, then tonight I won't make you your favourite chocolate fudge cake.

Simi stopped immediately and the girl caught her.

Girl: hahahaha this trick always work.

Simi: not fair.

Priya's Mom: arre Geet beta, just one second.

Geet: ji aunty. Simi go back to your mum and Dadi, i'll join you in a while.

Simi: ok

Geet: Aunty aapne bulaya?

Priya's Mom: haan beta, you know the tray of flower petals has been left upstairs in Priya's room, can you please go and get that. It'll be needed for the bidaai time.

Geet: sure Aunty.

Meanwhile Maan gets a call, and signals Raj that he will be back shortly. Raj nods and Maan leaves the stage and walks towards the staircase.

Geet is descending down the stairs with the tray of flower petals and Maan is engrossed in his phone conversation.

Maan turns the corner to go up the stairs and collides with Geet who was coming down, the tray of flowers go flying in the air, and Geet closes her eyes tight expecting to fall hard on the ground.

But Maan was fast enough to wrap his arms around her slim waist and pull her close to himself. Geet's eyes were still shut and Maan was lost in her angelic face. The flower petals were raining on them. Everyone was so busy with the wedding, chatting amongst themselves that no-one notice this spectacular scene by the staircase.

Geet was holding Maan collar tight and her eyes were shut, not finding herself hurt anywhere nor hearing any kind of sound but feeling that she is floating in the air.

She slowly opens her eyes to meet the light brown eyes of Maan, who was so lost in her right now that he did not even realise that they had been in this position for at least more than 5minutes.

As she had opened her eyes Maan saw the most beautiful hazel coloured eyes ever. Her eyes were just stunning and top of that she looked like an Angel descended from heaven.

Geet was too shocked to react so she did not move and was also lost staring at him, the flower petals were still pouring on them.

(Just imagine that the tray of flower petals was huge and consisted of loads of petal, and I mean loads that were pouring down on maaneet continuously).
