Just then he got a call…it was from one of his subordinates reminding him of the recording he has a week ahead!! He closed his eyes for a while..and smiled! let fate take her own course…you cannot fight with her anyways!

Geet slept with a heavy heart…very heavy indeed!! She couldn't stop her mind from going back to that night…. Anisha was in her bright red bridal dress looking out of this world…like an angel… barat was yet to come! And then everything just happened…in a jiffy…. Anisha was standing in front of her…crying..her eyes were bright red…anger and pain was visible on her face! Maan was waiting for her in the mundap..and she was there in a room..with geet… reading her diary !!!

Geet woke up with a jerk…sweating!!! There were tears in her eyes! She had hurt Anisha somewhere too and probably that is why Anisha asked her to get out of their lives! She will never ever do things that will cause pain to her again….even though it meant staying away from him!!!! She closed her eyes and fell on the bed..not wanting to think anything further..that will only bring more memories and more tears..and Maan….! It was right on her part to ask Aryan to stop her..because in no ways she can ever trust or control herself!!!

"usey kabhi akela mat chodna geet…he needs you…"

[never leave him alone geet…he needs you!!!]

A tear escaped her eyes as the words echoed in her mind…

"you don't need me anymore Maan… you have everything you ever wanted!"

Next day

Geet sat in her cabin…finishing her file! She had to submit that by the end of the day..it was a crucial one for her company. She was so lost in her work that she didn't realize that the peon was calling her!!! after 2-3 trials she responded!!

"bolo kya hua.."

"geet maam…koi aapse milne aaya hain.."

[geet maam..someone has come to meet you]

She didn't even look up…she was just too lost, "hmm..kaun hain?"

[hmm… whos it?]

"ji unhone naam tho nahi bataya but she is an old lady…"

[umm she didn't tell her name but she is an old lady]

Geet thought for a while...who could be that? but it wasn't good thing to make an elderly person wait!

"umm theek hain..andar bhejdo.."

[umm ok send her in]

Dadima held her breath as the peon informed her about geet's approval!!! She had got her details from Adi last night..and she really couldn't hold back her urge to see her daughter!!! She hadn't told this to Maan or anyone else!! She wanted to make herself sure of it 1^st!!! she slowly pushed open the door and peeped in!!!! she felt the world stop right there…geet sat on her desk…lost in her files..wearing formals..!!! oh god…her little gundi looked so mature..so serene…. And so pretty…. She had tears in her eyes…god knows whether they were of happiness or sadness!!! She stood there for some time..watching her… after so many years… she was there…she was seeing her daughter!!!!

Geet realized someone was standing by the door..may be that elderly lady. She said politely, "please have a seat!'

Dadima smiled through her tears and and slowly walked ahead and stood near the chair!!!!

"geet.." she called out softly! Geet went still…..hope she was not hallucinating!!! Dadima….no..thats not possible!!! She dropped her file and slowly looked up…. Only to see her beloved Dadima..standing in front of her…frail and weak..tears glistening in her eyes!!!

She stood up slowly… trying to understand if it was really Dadima standing in front of her..!!! how did she find out about her being in Mumbai? Past few years she had been travelling out of country a lot due to her projects…she was very sure that no one will be able to find her…she had distanced herself from everyone..and now seeing Dadima after so many years….her lips trembled as tears rolled out of her eyes, "da…Dadima.."

Dadima was so overwhelmed to hear her name from Geet's lips… she had been longing for it for so long….! She raised both her arms and nodded. Geet ran and hugged her tight...dadima hugged her back…her gundi…her angel… she finally found her!!!! it brought the life back into her!!!! geet cried…seeing Dadima after so long… she wanted to ask her if Maan was fine after last night..if he was alright..if he had told anything to Anisha.. she wanted to know how Anisha was..but not a single word formed in her mouth!!! She hid her face into Dadima's neck and cried silently!!!!

Dadima caressed her…even though she didn't know what was the exact reason for geet's sudden departure..but somewhere she knew it was related to Maan and Anisha. She knew geet loved Maan dearly…and she had somewhere felt that geet would make the best bride for Maan… but things changed drastically when Maan had put forward his desire to marry Anisha!!! She could never forget that look on geet's face that day..she looked so happy..more than her usual self… and she knew the over expression was just to hide the pan within!!!

"ghar chaliye beta…"

[come home beta…]

She felt her grip tighten around her. Dadima looked at her!!!

"geet…lets go home…"

"nahi Dadima….me..mein nahi ja sakti…"

[no Dadima…i…i can't go..]

Dadima: ek baar geet…bas ek baar…

Geet straightened herself and wiped her tears.

"mein nahi jaa sakti Dadima…"

'but why geet? Sabko apne aap se dur kyun kar rahi hain aap? Hume aapki zarurat hain geet…."

Geet turned away, "I cant go Dadima..please aap chali jaiye…"

She really didn't want to face Dadima..she cant trust herself..she cant..she just cant! Dadima took a deep breath in!

"theek hain..chale jayenge hum..we wont even ask you what made you leave all of us and go away..but yes..before leaving we want you to meet someone…"

Geet didn't understand. She turned back to look at Dadima. She looked so weak..yet there was a determination on her face!!!

'aapko humare saath hotel chalna hoga…'

[you have to come with us to the hotel]

Geet took a step back…she can't go… Anisha will be there..she can never go.. everything played in her mind…she cursed herself..it was because of her that Anisha had tears in her eyes… it was because of her that Anisha was in so much in pain that night….and she had promised her to stay away from their lives…!!! Why the hell no one understands that??? she tried to convinecdadima that she can't go..but after much persuation when geet didn't agree..dadima played her last card!!!

"aapko humari kasam geet…aapko chalna hoga..! bas 5 min…after that we won't even stop you!!!!"

[our promise geet.. you have to come. Only 5 minutes.. after that we won't even stop you]

Geet could never do that!!! she was a dilemma..one side there was Anisha's promise… and the other side Dadima's!!! she looked at Dadima's face… there were expectations in her eyes!!! She was meeting her family after such a long time… did she really want to go? Yes she did…. And she was scared of Anisha's reaction too! She bit her lips to stop her cry…what was happening with her? everything was happening on its own..like she had no control over them..she felt she was just like a puppet being played by different people!!! She had no existence of her own..she moved the same way as she was compelled to do so!!!!

Dadima dragged her out..and she just walked out….lifelessly! she was tired of thinking..she was tired of fighting..she was tired of everything..she was tired of pretending!! Why can't she just go and hug her dear ones crying her heart out? why does she has to fake her feelings? Why can't she do anything about it? She had gone blank…she was a puppet at the hands of fate…. She played along because nothing was in her control..Rather she was in control of someone!!! She was tired of being someone who she was not!!!

She didn't even realize when she was in the car…. when they had started moving..she didn't even know where she was going! Last evening played in her mind. Her meeting Maan.. his hug…his voice…his look…his pain…why did he had to come back? Dadima pulled her out of the car and dragged her in to the hotel and then to her room!!! Geet walked quietly…bracing herself for the face off with Anisha!! She had decided she will just finish off with Dadima and walk away without hurting anyone!

Dadima was determined to get geet back in their lives…she could never see Maan or geet or dia or namra in pain!!! One wrong decision…one mistake and that had played with everyone's lives!!!! She made her stand in front of a room and pushed open the door. Geet just stood there… watching the sight in front of her!!!

Dia and namra were playing in their room…both had a Barbie doll each in their hands!!!

Dia: namla… meli hair….

She had got her hair tangled and was not able to fix it. She was pulling it with her tiny hands and winced in pain as it hurt!!! Namra made dia sit on the bed and got a comb. She tried to comb her hair free..but she herself was so small…. Probably she didn't even know how to comb her own hair..and here she was trying to comb her little sister's hairs! She couldn't and dia cried in pain!!!! Geet just looked at them…. Unknowingly tears rolled out of her eyes!!!!

Dadima controlled her own tears! She wanted geet to understand that they needed their angel!!

Namra: shorry…. Abhi dheere she karungi..

[sorry will do softly now]

She tried again..but little dia's eyes had already started watering. Geet immediately recognized that little angel sitting right in front of her… she had met her in the mall the other day! She could never forget the way she was scared near the escalator! What was she doing here? And that other girl…she was probably her sister..geet guessed!

Dia was already crying. Namra gave up..her eyes had started watering too!!!!

Namra: mujhse nai ho raha….

She thumped beside dia and hugged her.. caressing her hair with her little hands!!! And that was it! Geet couldn't have taken that!!! she ran to them and hugged both of them tightly!!!!! Dia and namra couldn't understand anything!!! Dadima just let her tears flow…she so much wanted to see that…so much wanted to see everyone happy! Geet wiped her tears and caressed both their faces!!

Geet (cutely): mein comb kar doon?

[shall I comb?]

Dia looked up to see the person in front of her….her eyes twinkled…seeing her!! she really couldn't believe that it was her!!! namra looked at geet and then at dia who had a cute smile on her lips.

Dia: namla…dekho angel….

And that's when namra looked at geet carefully…. She looked exactly the way she had seen her in her photographs! She was awed to see their angel..right in front of them… in flesh and blood!!! Dadima was right…angel will come and take care of her!! this was the reason why they never missed their mother..even after seeing mother's of their friends in school come and pick them up..they never complained.! They never had issues with anyone..because they knew angel will come!!

Namra: angel..you here…

Geet smiled and looked at her cutely, "ye angel kaun hai?"

[who is this angel?]

Dia caressed geet's face, "aap…"

"aur yeh kisne bola aap sabse?"

"Dadima ne….." they pointed towards Dadima by the door..she has a happiness on her face…!!! Geet looked at Dadima and then back at the kids.

"chalo..now tell me your names!!!"

Namra cutely replied, "my name ish namra.."

Dia landed up in geet's lap and said, "my my name dia…"

Geet smiled, "how cute….chalo let me help you…"

She made dia sit on her lap properly and combed her hairs. She did the same with namra too…! Maan had just come back from office for lunch. He was trying to spend as much time with his princesses as possible..especially after what Dadima had put forward!!! He went to his room..only to see Dadima standing near the door of a room. He went and side hugged her gesturing what was it that made her so emotional. He hadn't missed the tears in her eyes! Dadima smiled and pointed into the room with her chin! Maan went utterly shocked at the sight in front of him!

Geet laughed listening to dia's cute toota phoota words… and namra..she was a sweetheart! They never left her side even for a second..telling them all about their school and friends!!! Maan had never expected her to be here…..he turned to Dadima and whispered, "aapne geet ko dhoondh liya?"

[you found geet?]

Dadima was sooo happy..if her health wasn't a problem..she'd have danched right there. She just nodded and leaned back against the door frame watching her three angels!! Maan looked at dia and namra..they looked so happy…they were telling geet the rhymes they have learnt in school…geet giggled..! he missed her..he had missed her sooo much!!!! He held Dadima and just looked at the three lives in front of him… so beautiful…so devine!!! Geet was lost in those two cuties.. they were the cutest girls ever!

Geet: you didn't tell me about your family!! Aapke papa kahan hain?

[ you didn't tell me about your family! Wheres your papa?]

Namra giggled and pointed towards the door…"wahan!!"

Geet's smile vanished the moment she looked at the door! Maan stood there with Dadima..looking directly into her eyes. She had never expected this!!!! She looked at dia and namra and then back at Maan….. that means they were…they were his daughters??? She was so happy to see them… but she was again scared of the repercussion!!! Tears clouded her eyes… why does she has to end up with Maan at the other end? She was so happy in her own world…then why this sudden encroachment that has turned her life upside down within a span of 24 hours!!!! Yes she was so happy to see dia and namra…but Maan… the more she wanted him out of her life..the more he gets involved in her life..knowingly or unknowingly!!!

She really didn't want to face him and that was clearly visible on her face..and the pain that reflected!! Her heart contracted thinking about Anisha…will she even want to see her face?

Maan kind of understood that look on her face. He moved forward to reach her..make her understand..to tell her so many things. She just stood up..and moved a step back!!! Maan felt that pinch him..why was she running away? Why? What did he do? Dia and namra looked at both of them shocked..not able to understand what they were doing!!!!
