It is the day of marriage and the auspicious time was fixed in the wee hours. Geet was getting worried as to how she will ask maan to stop the marriage. She knows how much he loves her and the lie she has to say out now is making her even more tensed. She got ready in the bridal attire looking breathtaking in her lehenga. Geet started to pace restlessly in her room thinking as to wat to do playing with the engagement ring, she looked at it

Geet: geet tu itni tension mat le maan ko yeh baat samajhna hi hoga ki ab yeh shaadi nahi ho sakti. Ek jhoot aur sab thik ho jayega nahi toh '.. nahi babaji aisa nahi ho sakta. Meri shaadi maan se ho ya na ho lekin hoon main sirf unki!!!!

Mustering all the courage geet walked out of her room to the mandap which has shocked her even more. Everybody were I panic while maan stood at a corner like a robot. He was looking everywhere bt geet, he knew geet is here and the fact that was published in the newspaper is something which is making him worried.

Mausi smirked looking at geet while dadima just lowered her eyes unable to face her. For dadima geet is no different from maan and dev, she equally loves geet and roop. Geet's heart started to beat against her rib cage so hard. She feared that the ppl present there came to know abt the statement she has given the other day!!! and the moment she neared maan, dev just dragged geet away from maan and shoved the newspaper on her face.

Dev: wat is this geet??? u are raped!!! Har newspaper mein yehi news hai. Kya tamasha hai yeh?? Tell me the truth were u truly raped??? Maan closed his eyes unable to digest those words of dev and before geet cud answer dev, maan held geet's wrist and led her to the mandap. He was abt to tie the mangalsutra wen geet stopped him and spoke maan ek baar sach toh pooch toh lijiye mujhse!!! Plz yeh shaadi mat kariye I am really ra'.. maan closed her mouth with his palm and gestured her to not speak anything. He tied the mangalsutra and filled her mang with sindoor, with saath pheras the marriage took place

Nobody dared to speak looking at maan who was spitting fire, bt the pain in his eyes was visible only to geet

This was the opportunity mausi was waiting for till now and shocking everybody maan married geet. she still did not give up, mausi used her last pawn, her mouth!!! She stopped maan who looked at her with anger in his eyes.

Mausi: lekin tum iss ladki se shaadi kaise...dadima yelled on mausi to stop her

Dadima: hum maan ke saath hai geet hamari bachi hai kya geet agar hamare ghar mein paida hoti toh bhi sab log aise hi kehte?? I don't care maan take her and all other rituals will take place jisko rehna hai rahe jisko nahi who ja sakte hai dadima looked at mausi and left taking maaneet with her.

Mohinder and roop looked at geet helplessly thinking how this lie will affect her relation with maan. Even though dadima wanted the remaining rituals to happen looking at geet she cudnt proceed.

Here maan was in his thoughts. He just cudnt believe that geet was'' he knew she was hiding something from him bt wat?? She is lying bt y??

Maan looked at the newspaper. Geet gave a statement the other night that she was raped!!! And this bold side of her made maan susceptive of the truth

Maan entered the room where geet was waiting for him. She was feeling guilty all the time and wen geet heard the click sound, she ran towards him lifelessly and hugged maan like her life is dependent on him he married her even after thinking she got raped!!!! she told him the truth of her life her one lie i was not raped maan i wasnt!!! maine sabke saamne jhoot kaha tha lekin aapse kabhi nahi bolongi u deserve to know the truth as to wat happened main aapki aakhon mein dard nahi dekh sakti i love u and i just cant lie anymore aaj agar maine aapse sach nahi kaha toh main apne aapko akbhi maaf nahi karpaongi jhoot unlogon se kehna meri majboori thi aapse nahi kahongi

Maan's heart paced normally listening to geet. His burden from heart vanished and he reciprocated the hug even more passionately, waiting for her to speak out the truth and she did. That really shocked him.
