PART 4

Summer is very high in pune, Geet with his brother vicky lives in pune, basically they are from punjab, but due to his father job, they settled in pune,

Geet and vicky are staying in small single bedroom apartments, vicky was laying down on the cot and reading some book,geet was doing some embroidery on some sarees, but her eyes are on the door for the past one hour, she is waiting for the post.
"Di iam afraid please come here and stay with me " she went and checked and gave medicines and sat with him
"di -- did post came "
no iam waiting for that only

"di-- do you think anyone will give donations seeing your aid in the news paper
( i am writing in the hindi also , iam not that good , please bear with the mistakes , some time expressions will be nice in hindi only sooo , so any mistakes please )

Geet father died 2 years back because of jaundice , he is just small accountant in a private office, after father death vicky became very weak and used to became very tired even while doing small works , he is used be first in every thins, but now he had stopped participating inb games also , when she asked the reason
iam feeling very tired di,
she thought may be he is not eating properly
after the father death, they faced many financial problems, everyone suggested her to make stop vicky studies ,and let him work, but she do not want that she at any cost wants vicky to study , for this she started to do all types of works , she started to do embroidery works, typing works
that day when she returned from her part time work, she saw vicky sleeping

vicky you did not go to school
nahi didi

vicky did not replied, geet got angry this is the third in this week you know how much iam struggling for your studies come and get up and go to school
nahi didi, icannot walk that much distance

geet dodo not listento anything, she simply told she wont see his face if he does not go to the school
vicky simply took his bag and started walking , geet felt very bad, seeing him.

my only aim is to see vicky weel settled, he has to nice job, for this he hd to study, i know i behaved rudely with him, but this is for his good only
that day reports cards came , vicky got less marks in every subject. , i scolded him, but he was not responding to me , after 4 days, his friends came and told that vicky is not coming to school
listening to their words, i got very much angry and beat him, he cried a lot, but was not opening his mouth
that evening dev came i told him about vicky behaviour
dev looked at vicky and saw that he became very weak, vicky tum theek to ho are feeling weak
i do not know any thing but i am felling very weak,
ok come i will take you to doctor
it is almost night but still dev had not yet come from hospital
atlast they came, seeing them coming inside she guessed some thing is wrong
dev told vicky to go inside and sleep see geet god had given you test, be brave, vicky had hole in the heart , this is the x ray, operation should be done within 2 month other wise-------
geet was shocked she never expected any thing like this
how much it will cost for the operation , see geet for operation it will cost more 1 lakh ., for other things we should keep with us more 50,000, we will see, i will try to borrow , be brave and do not tell any thing to vicky he will be afraid, and may effect his health , okay will think something, telling that he left house
for the past 2 days geet was thinking how to make money, no one is ready to give that much money ,suddenly she got an idea and called dev and told him to give aide in newspaper for money may be some one will donate money
donations came , but compared to amount required it is very less, one day she received a card asking her to contact to this address, immediately , she went to contact , the place is just like a cheap hotel, the manager, was talking very nicely, he told i will give good job, she you come in the night, per day we will give 2000 but seeing your conditions, i will give you 2500 ok.
immediately geet came to know what kind of place is that ,
she immediately shouted and said see i will take poison and die but won't do such type of work, immediately she came running to he house
when dev came in the evening she could not control herself hugged him and started crying and told him everything
dev shouted at her

but he knows her situation
we will think, see i have an idea we will give a aid in big circulated paper , may be national paper we will see ok , now do not cry, if vicky see

now the past ends here from the next part is her present

AT PRESENT

Vicky had slept, geet was waiting for the post , but today still it had not come
At last her prayers answer, registered post came , she was surprised, no one until sent her registered post, after signing post, she saw some papers and one letter,
Geet i have seen your aid in the paper iam sending the whole amount, there is no need for you to ask some others, do not worry, your brother operation will be sucess and both of them be happy

the letter was precise with only 2 lines and there was a D.D for 100,000
vicky ---vicky she shouted feeling very happy
vicky at once got hearing his sister voice

vicky ab dekho ye sach hai na koi d.d beja hai, ab tumhara operation ka koi problem nahi hai dekho tum ekdam teekhojavoge
dono letter aur d.d. ko dekhkar kushi se rone lage hai

didi ye koun hai jo hume itane sare paise deye hai

pata nahi lekin koyi bhi hai , vo hamare lieye bhaghawan hai, and you do not worry , we will fix for operation date
ok now you take rest , i will go and see dev

geet saw pummy aunty dev hai kaya?

Kyo, vo to abhi bahar se aye hai,khana bhi nye khaya washroom me hai
with out lsitining to pammi words, she rushed into his bedroom,
dev...dev... started beating the washroom door

and in her anxiety she started beating the bathroom door

after some dev came from bathroom, she showed him the letter and the d.d , dev read the letter and saw the amount, he was surprised seeing the amount

dev at once saw the face of geet,though she looks tired but she is very happy, seeing her eyes, which are glowing with happiness he laughed, i will beleive geet but this is because of you fate, you are lucky , geet also laughed

Dadima was waiting for maan to come, flight ka time hai, lekin maan ka pata bhi nahi, phone to switch of ara hai,
five days back there was call from her sister from pune that her grand daughter marriage was settled, they are NRI they want marriage within in a week as they want to go immediately to their country , so she immediately called savitri devi and told to come for marriage and bring maan also , savitri devi also felt very happy, she thought may be if he comes, shaadi ka ghar hai, koyi acchi ladki miljayegi to maan ko raji karge shadi karva sakte,
isliya maan ko apni kasam dekhar shadi me anekeliya raji be karveya

abhi flight ka time horahi hai lekin abhi tak maan abhi tak nahi aya
at the same her phone rang dadima my friend met with the accident so iam not coming iam in the hospital
ok tell sorry to choti dadi ok next time i will come,
and without listining to her he kept the phone
she felt very bad , every time he does like this only, at the last minute he cancels the programme
she cannot avoid the marriage, she has to go

every thing was settled , it was planned that dev, geet and vicky will go the mumbai for operation, they will stay in dev relatives house,
but dev suddenly selected in a job and he had to join immediately , he told geet that after joining he will apply leave come over there, gave address of his relatives house told her to go
next day was their journey
she was packing suddenly she saw the letter in cupboard, she took that letter and again read that letter, do not how many times she read that letter, now the letter, became her part of her life
do not she is feeling very tensed, vicky operation, new place , even dev is not coming
she prayed her babaji, and thinking about the letter she slept
she do not know that her life will be going change from the next day, that is for good or bad , only destiny can tell

IT is night time
pune railway station is crowded everyone are waiting for their trains, summer vacation has started , as usual it is more crowded

geet and vicky were waiting for their train , siting on the bench at the corner , what vicky you are feeling very tired come and sleep on my lap ?
koyi problem nahi hai didi
at the same time they saw one elderly lady came and sat there ,she is looking very elegant, and sophisticated , maybe at her young age she was beautiful, she was alone siting with a small briefcase
savitiri devi was observing geet and vicky , may there are brother and sister, compared to other girls, she is beautiful and simple, the dress looking like a traditional ( salwar kurta , other than minis , etc ), one , may be they are very cultured
there was announcement that train for mumbai was coming , immediately she told vicky to look after the suitcases, she will go and check the compartment
after checking the compartment , when she went there , what she saw that , vicky was with the elderly lady, the lady was siting as though she was in pain, all he body was sweating ,
immediately she called the t.t and railway doctor, immediately , they checked her , and told that she was attacked with a mild hear attack, and prescribed some medicines, which has to be administered every 4-6 hours
after he asked to geet , ki who she , , they are relatives, then geet remembered that she had missed the train, and the suitcases, when she went to that place what she saw that she lost her baggage , she gave compliant to the t.t
"how can you leave and go , in this crowd, how can we trace the bag, ok we will try" said the t.t
geet went near vicky, they shifted to the waiting room, savitri devi was sleeping on the bed,

it was stoled, geet was having water in her eyes, but cannot show that vicky she immediately wiped her tears. without showing them to vicky

geet was nodding her head , they have every thing in that, their cloths, but luckily , money, hospital reports, were in her hand bag

why it had happen like this didi vicky was feeling bad, , seeing this, geet laughed and told not worry dekho vicky , jo bhi kuch hota hai vo hamere bhalayi keliye hoto hai, so chinta chinta

after one hour , doctor came and checked her
and she woke up, she introduced herself as savitri devi ..

" see savitri devi ji you had mild heart attack, the girl standing there helped you , pointing to geet, she missed her train, and even lost her baggage , while looking after you, i will give you seditives, you will sleep, there is another train for mumbai in next two hours, you can go in that train ,"

he came near geet and told that " see geet you are also going to mumbai , you go with her i will arrange tickets for that , see she olderly lady , someone should look after her , i will give sedetives she will sleep, after every 6 hours tablets should be given , you take care of her
geet and vicky and savitri devi are now travelling in another train, savitri devi was sleeping , geet was staring her, she did not understand her destiny, where it is going , vicky operation, one starnger helped her with the money , she thought every thing will be fine, but again, she lost her baggage , traveling with a stranger,
she stared at vicky he was sleeping keeping head on her lap
in midnight she saw savitri devi was moving with pain , she immediately gave tablet to her, and made her to sleep
next day morning savitri devi woke up looking at geet, she remembered all that happened , how she saw them in the station , ,when she got light chest pain, how doctor told her about geet
, how she helped
actually she has to come by flight , after the marriage, but at the last minute she could not catch that one, her sister told her to wait and go in next flight , but she cannot leave, office and stay like this here , she told there is no problem she will go in train, and told nakul to come to train, but in mean while every thing happened.
thank you geet , for what you have done , you are brother and sister, have you are having relatives in mumbai,
nahi dadima ... sorry , you can call me dadima actually vicky my brother is a heart patient, he is having operation we are coming first time to mumbai , listing to this dadima felt very bad, in mean while train stopped in mumbai nakul came to station seeing her condition.
what happened dadima why you have not told any thing to me , you just informed that iam coming in this train, she told what all happened and how geet helped her,
she told him that you look after her take her in a taxi , she is new to this city and she will go by the car, with the driver , and he will drop geet in a taxi, she told him to look after her , a she is
new to the city
she thanked geet for her help, and slowly with the n help of driver she left in the car
after savitri devi went ,nakul called a taxi, geet first hesitated but when nakul told savitri devi told him , she also thought that, she don't the routes, it is better to go with him, ,
they went to the relatives house of dev, but when she went there the house was locked , she asked the neighbors , they gave information that , their sudden death of their relative, so left at the night only
geet was shocked , she don know what to do vicky started to cry , she can not go the hotel , as she do not have that much money ,

she immediately told nakul to drop at the hospital ,she gave the address, , after getting down she offered money, nakul did not acccpeted, and told her that savitri devi told her to drop her and should take the money, she thanked him and went inside the hospital
after he went vicky started to cry see didi why it had happened like this , even dev relatives are not there, if dev would have it would nice , even their relatives are also there,
geet took vicky and said do not worry
bhagvan par bharosa rak sab kuch teekh hojaga , tumko bhook lagrahi haina tum idhar baito me khane keliya kuch leka ati ho ,
doctor came at around 10 she told him every thing
" when you come at one place in like this situation you should come with 2 to 3 adress, i can take care of operation, other things you should look after, any way i am not doing the operation, some specialist will come , i will join you in the govt hospital, iam going to Delhi for conference for 1 week, i will call that doctor and talk to him directly, " saying that he admitted in the hospital
they changed the vicky dress and admitted in general ward
geet was sitting there feeling very nervous, she was putting a brave face before vicky, but internally she was afraid
