It was close to midnight.In the dark coridoors & staircases of the Khurana Mansion,the atmosphere was abnormally chill giving a sinster feeling...a lone figure trudged towards Maan's room with heavy but hush steps,having an evil smile on the face,a deadly injection in one hand.The injection was filled with a poison which killed the prey immediately...MSK was the prey...
The door of Maan's room was opened without making any noise..Maan was seen sleeping peacefully with his body covered fully from head to toe with a blanket...The figure started walking towards him slowly with devilish eyes having the poisonous injection in one hand...the injection would pierce his body & the very next moment MSK would be dead...The blanket over him will be replaced by a white cloth...Maan should have been killed the previous night itself...but he was lucky..he was not in the Mansion..perhaps he was with his lady-love...his lady-love...Geet...
The devilish human finally reached Maan...the moment had come for MSK to be dead...now to just remove the blanket from over him...& insert the injection...and then...and then...game over..forever..
The evil did not waste time in removing the blanket but just when he was about to pierce the injection,the hands which were to insert poison suddenly stopped mid-air heavily frozen due to the very high magnitude of shock the devil eyes had just received in such a quiet dead atmosphere of mid-night.
"You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"What are you doing over here!!!!!!!!" " cried the horror-struck eyes.
"Oh no!Rhea,I thought you will be very happy seeing me!!I am hurt by your reaction!!!" said Geet as she hopped out of the bed,"Woh kya hai na,you must be knowing I cannot bear to see any other woman except me close to Maan,so here I am.." She ended with a smirk..
"I can't believe it!!!You have tried to over-smart me!!!You will have to pay for this!!!"
"Your game is up Rhea!!!!!"
"Toh kya hua,I am not able to kill Maan now,I can insert this poison in you!Can't I?Then I will be sending Maan to you soon!!" said Rhea in a monsterous voice.
She grabbed Geet by her hand.Geet struggled to free herself.
"You can't do that!!!" shouted Geet.
"If I can make Dev burn his shoe factory & also make him export drugs then I can do & achieve anything I want!!!!!" Rhea gave an evil smirk.She was just about to pierce the injection in Geet but just then another shocker graced Rhea as Gopal entered the room pointing a gun at her.Rhea was stunned to the core seeing him that the injection just dropped from her hand.Geet seized the opportunity & picked up Maan's gun hidden under the pillow & pointed at her.Rhea was surrounded by Geet & Gopal on either sides.
"Statement Recorded!!!Game up Rhea!Don't move from your place,otherwise I will fire!!!" said Gopal in a stern voice.
"I don't care!!"shouted Rhea.
She began to snatch the gun from Geet.But Geet was hard this time.Gopal wanted to end this tiff soon.He quickly went towards the window & fired a round of shot outside aiming at the sky.
The sound was enough to shiver Rhea & she covered her ears with her hands.She had received a lot of shocks one after the other that even a gun shot was too much for her.
Hearing the gun-shot,the entire Khurana family woke up with a start...
Annie's room
"Goli chalne ki aawaz???From where??" asked Maan,startled.
"Bhai,It's come from your room..."said Annie,scared.
"Come on!Let's go!"
They both hurried towards Maan's room.No sooner did they enter the room,than Maan was in for a shock as he saw Geet standing pointing a gun at Rhea... & Gopal stood at a distance.He also noticed the injection which was on the floor which stunned him.Maan stared at Geet in shock..her eyes looked ferocious...
Just then Dev too came in the room.Maan looked at him ruefully.Dev's face was pale with fright.
"What the heck is happening here?" asked Maan in a loud voice.
"Rhea found Geet in place of you in this room so she attacked her with the poisonous injection which was meant for you but Geet over-powered her" said Gopal to Maan while smiling slyly at Rhea.
Maan was shocked hearing that.He glared at Geet.
"Why did you risk your life Geet!!!!!!!Do you have any idea how dangerous it would have been!!!!!I had already come to know you would be exposing the entire matter & I didn't want to interfere in between,I wanted you to carry on with your plan..but I did not know you would go to such an extent that you would put your life in danger!!" his voice reflected the pain & agony.
"Agar aapko kuch ho jata then I would have ended my life.I told you yeatarday I can do anything for you!!" Geet said firmly looking intensely at Maan.
Maan stared at her in disbelief.Her eyes conveyed it that she meant it to the last word...For once,he wished that their love for each other should have been conditional...
"Rhea!!How dare you attack Geet!!!" his voice sounded like a volcano.
"Is it my fault that she lay in your bed & pretended to be you?" Rhea said in a cold voice.
Dev inched forward & clutched Rhea tightly by her arm
"Enough Rhea!!!!Enough of problems you have created in bro & Geet's life using me!!!" said Dev balefully.
Rhea was shocked hearing Dev.He had never ever before talked to her like that.She always controlled him...& he revolted against her for the first time...
Geet smirked hearing Dev,still pointing the gun at Rhea.
"Finally you are able to raise voice against her instead of being her puppet!"
Maan was startled hearing Geet.He had finally got the answer to the question which nagged him the most... .
"Preposterous Geet!!!!That means you knew about the will & pretended to be heart-broken & you were faking anger to Maan"
Maan smirked hearing Rhea.
"Ab kya kare Rhea,you were acting so brilliantly the part of a helpless wife that even I derived inspiration from it" said Geet calmly.Dev was relieved that.Geet continued in a stern voice,"Just like you acted to be madly in love wth Dev when in real it was the other way around...I put up my best performance to show you I hated Maan to the core!!"
Rhea stared at her in disbelief.
"So the climax of this entire business was chosen to be in my room!That's why Annie came into my room & said that she had seen some horror movie & so she wanted me in my room as she was scared of ghosts." Maan eyed Annie
"Gopal had told me to get you out of the room but he did not tell me why!" said Annie who was still in a shock,not knowing what was going on!
"My foot!You will all have to pay for this!!And how will this bloody stalker Gopal arrest me."said Rhea
"Do you really think he is 'Gopal'" smirked Maan,"Meet Police Commissioner Arjun!" Maan looked at Gopal.
"Bingo Mr Khurana!" said Gopal as he removed his wig & his beard & showed his ID card to all,
"Police Commissioner Arjun,I am assisting the Mumbai Crime Branch in this case & Ms Geet was called for investigation to Mumbai!!"
Dev & Rhea were utterly shocked.Before Rhea could react,three lady officers entered the room & chained Rhea's hands.She was under arrest!
Annie stared at Arjun.She was blank as his true identity got revealed.Geet looked at Maan with awe,how did he know Gopal was infact Arjun!.Just then Arjun asked
"I am surprised Mr Maan Khurana.How did you come to know about me."
"From the time I had seen Gopal,I had this doubt in my mind I have met Gopal somewhere before.No wonder Gopal..I mean Inspector Arjun handled the case of Geet's missing & accident..if at all Geet really had an 'accident' on the first place that day! " smirked Maan looking at Geet...She did not look at him.

The entire Khurana family had assembled in the hall.Dadi,Yash,Gurpreet,Maan,Dev,Annie all were standing in a semi-circle,perplexed & anxious as they saw Rhea under arrest & also there was a large screen with a projector put up in the hall.Annie glanced sideways at Arjun who was standing at a distance.He indeed looked really handsome just how Annie had thought him to be.
"My choices can never be wrong!" she thought proudly.
Maan was standing engrossed in his own line of thoughts.
"But is it really possible Rhea treated Dev like a puppet?Kaise? jabki Rhea came into Dev's life after the drug & factory incidents & Secondly,if the records are checked,the foreign dealers had said it was a man with whom they had traded,not a woman ...but Rhea is a brilliant actress...she could easily dress like a man..."

Just then all the pairs of eyes were directed to the screen which flashed.The projector started working & when the video started playing,everyone was dumbfounded to the last word.The video showed the conversation between Maan & Dev which had taken place on the terrace of the hotel in Pondicherry...Everything right from the starting till the end was shown,Maan's accusation of Dev burning the factory,drugs,Dev's confession,blackmailing Maan regarding Geet,the will..all was being played like a horror film...Dev & Maan were stoned to the floor.Dev gave a shudder.Dadi coudn't believe what was being shown,the words spoken by Dev hit her like pebbles...the dark rivalry between her grand-sons was out to which she had been unaware for so long...Gurpreet's eyes were moist while Yash looked stolid..Annie looked ruefully at her brothers..
Maan eyed the video carefully.Yes!Geet was right!,thought Maan.When he confronted Dev,he was so angry that time that he failed to see the helplessness in Dev's eyes...as if he was forcing himself to say everything which he didn't want to say at all...and even after whenever he saw Dev,due to his anger.he was oblivious of Dev's innocence...
"Unimaginable.." that's what Maan could utter discovering this hard fact...
"Maan!Dev!What is..What is all this..." Dadima looked at both of them,grief-sticken.There was guilt in Dev's eyes while Maan chose to remain silent.
Turning to Arjun,Dadima asked,"Inspector!Can you please explain what's going on!!If Dev is at fault,why have you arrested Rhea?"
"Mam,Rhea is a shrewd drug dealer.We have been trying to nab her since a very long time.She was involved in the drug scandal three years ago.Ms Geet helped us in identifying & trapping the real culprit,the police is very grateful to her!"said Arjun.
Arjun then played the recording of Rhea's confession to the crime.
Dadima & everyone was stunned hearing that.Rhea was burning in anger,but she was helpless.
Geet looked ruefully at Rhea as she descended down the staircase to the hall.
"Geet bete!Yeh sab kya ho raha hai?" asked Dadima.
"Nothing much Dadima!The video of Maan & Dev just a drama put on by Rhea where Dev's dialogues were written by her,screenplay was also written by her." she smirked
"So I decided why not video-shoot it as I was present there behind the terrace door..!" said Arjun.Maan & Dev both looked at him..
"Now I am gonna tell what was the reality behind the scenes.." said Geet,in a stern voice.
All eyes were directed towards her with curiosity & a confused look on their faces.Geet enjoyed the moment as she was the center of attention then & she was sure she would continue to be so till everything was crystal clear in front of the whole Khurana family especially Dadima...Maan smirked...he knew Geet was expert in handling such situations...After all Geet was the third link,the third person...who helped him without his telling her...
