Maan

Seeing d state here I had realized tht in order to live here a lot had 2 b done.. though d place had been superficially cleaned up.. but tht aint enuf!!.. as geet n maahi went in, I thot first I shud mk sm calls especially without geet knowing of it.. coz I wasn't sure hw she wud react to it!!

As I entered d hall almost done wid d calls.. I noticed maahi lost in d beauty of d place n geet anxiously lukin arnd for something!! Maahi's reactn was expected.. I too had been bowled ovr by dis place d first tym I was here.. bt geet.. why was she so anxious.. as we shared an eyelock I tried reading her expressions.. she looked worried, angry?!! N den suddenly her eyes filled up.. wid questions n tears.. bth of which I cudnt understand why? Did I do smthng which hurt her..

Unable 2 see her like dis..

"ummm. Geet.. I guess we shud arrange for lunch!! its quite late n bauji cud rest aftr tht"

She nodded lifelessly n left fm der.. I cud nt understand nythng.. bt ryt nw we needed 2 arrange all d stuff.. so wid maahi n d care takers' help we shifted the luggage to d respective rooms..

At lunch time.. all of us were sitting 2gthr at d dining table.. n dis was wht I was waiting for.. so tht I cud talk 2 all of dem.. speaking to geet alone wud get us nowhere..

"um.. wo I was thinking.. tht we cud do a little improvements to dis place n get d basic stuff set"

"as in?"

"wo.. I mean painting a othr maintenance work etc etc.."

"maan.. bt tht ll tk time.. I wil hv 2 look up n find d ryt ppl here.."

"umm.. actually I already hv.. I spoke to dem aftr reaching here. I just wanted ur approval to get thngs started.."

Geet

What was dis man made up of? I wondered..

I cudnt stop staring at him as he blurted out dose words.. so he wasn't talkin 2 sameera.. he was just getting stuff arranged for here.. I felt a strange relief wash ovr me.. bt suddenly I was worried again.. why was he doin all dis n hw wud I ever repay him bk for all dis?

B4 I cud even deny his offer.. bauji spoke up

"thts great maan beta.. I m so proud of u!!"

"bt bauji.. why wil maan?"

"oh cm on geet.. if he wants to, let him do it!!"

"bt.."

"geet.. plz.." he said..

Again I was fighting a losing battle.. I was getting more n more indebted 2 him.. was dis his ploy 2 get an easy divorce? I wondered..

I saw him lookin at me for my approval.. lukin in his eyes I saw sincerity der n all dose thots vanished!! I nodded n continued my food bt nt before noticing a beautiful smile light up his handsome face d one he had only after getting a major satisfaction out of his work..

Within 2 hrs which flew away in arranging bauji's room.. maan was helpin me while maahi was wid bauji to keep him company, d haveli was full of workers! I had only expected local workers bt maan had arranged for professionals.. thr was an interior decorator, a pest ctrl team, a gardener, a plumber n wht not.. I wondered hw he managed evrythng so fast.. bt wid contacts n money evrythng cud b arranged!! well why was I surprised.. dis was maan he nvr did thngs half heartedly!!

Infact he even apologized 2 me tht he had 2 hire an interior decorator whn I was der bt he thot I already had my hands full so.. plus he had instructed every1 to work in co-ordination wid me!!

Wel he never failed to surprise me.. in no tym, d house was buzzing wid activity..

When I walked into d guest room, maan was packing his bag wid his bk facing me.. still giving instructions to some workers to tk care of d antiques etc!! whn it came to work he forgot evrythng.. I stood at d door waiting for him to get free..

CHAPTER 21

Maan

I was just finishing my last minute stuff n giving instructions 2 d workers while packing my bag.. I cud sense geet's presence behind me as she stood at d door.. I signaled d workers to leave..

"wo.. u're leaving!?"

"yeah.. I was just here to drop u guys!!"

"i.. I don't even know hw to thank u.. for al dat u've done.. I feel so indebted.. i.."

"geet.. I dint do ny of dis to mk u feel so.. n it aint much.. just d basic necessities!!"

"don't b so humble maan.. we bth know wht u ve done.. n so fast.."

She had been walking 2wds me while talking wen suddenly she slipped n I rushed to support her.. n den I lost track of evrythng!!

Her soft lips brushed my chest as I held her n I felt my body burn wid her touch!! As I steadied her by holding her waist n she held my shoulders for support, my body reacted to her touch!! As I looked into dose hazels I saw a reflection of passion i had in mine.. oh god.. I wanted her!! We were transported bk 2 d tym wen nthng mattered more thn each others company, wen d only thng we had was each odr's love n wen nthng cud do us part!!

I realized she was lost in d heat of d moment too.. she was breathing heavily, her cheeks burning red and I cud feel her hardened nipples as I subconsciously pulled her in my embrace!! I was hoping she'd b repelled by my touch n push me away coz it was beyond my ctrl 2 stop.. bt I dint expect her to close her eyes n mould herself in my arms.. surrendering herself to me.. seeing her trembling lips I needed no further invitation.. I took her lips in mine, sucked them n nibbled dem slowly, still fearing her rejection.. my hands ached to feel her... bt den suddenly I felt her respond to d kiss.. we fell onto d bed wid geet pinned under me.. her fingers gently massaging my nape.. pulling me closer.. my hand caressed d skin of her waist while d odr roamed arnd on her body ovr her kurti feeling her.. 'twas dj vu as I remembered hw it all was b4.. I squeezed her breasts ovr d kurti n she moaned my name aloud.. my lips trailed d narrow of her throat n my hands were abt to remove her kurti..

"maa. Whr r u?"

Maahi's voice brought us out of d trance!! We realized d compromising position we wer in n distanced ourselves immediately still breathless from d passionate kiss n our hearts out of control!!

I got up n moved away fm her giving her n myself some space!! We looked fine by d tym maahi came!!

Wht d hell just happened.. no I dint wanna think abt it.. I just had 2 get outta here..

"I think I shud get goin?"

"wont u b staying for dinner?" maahi asked

"no dear.. I ll get late.. u tk care!" n giving her a quick peck on her forehead n a hug, n careful not 2 glance at geet.. I left fm der!!

Sitting in my car.. my thots wer in a mess!!

"dont know why i alwaz lose ctrl ovr myself.. wenever she s arnd.. i just cant stop myself.. from loving her.. but neither can i forget wht she did 2 me.. m i right or wrong in romancing.. with wife?!!!"

I wondered as my thots drifted to tht fateful nyt which changed our lived forevr!!
