Though nt fully convinced,bt aftr bauji's insistence I agreed to borrow maan's car for a while.. I called him at nyt n let him know tht we intended to leave tomore n he assured me tht he'd make d necessary arrangements!!

Then began d packing.. fm bauji's antiques which he had got here to get d feel of d royals to maahi's computer.. der was so much to do.. d work seemed never ending!!

I woke up at arnd 9 in d mrng.. damn I was late but wid so much work.. ! I freshened up, woke up maahi, checked on bauji.. n then strtd preparing breakfast for dem.. soup n a light oil free breakfast for bauji. He was so fond of rich Punjabi food bt his ailment prohibited al of it. On d odr hand was maahi. She wantd pasta.. actually wen did she not?!! I so much wanted her to have Punjabi cuisine.. parathas n wht nt.. she had it mechanically bt pasta got her going like nothing else.. already she was upset at leaving her school n frndz.. so to cheer her up, it had 2 b pasta..

Though maan had promised abt d land rover.. n knowing his eye for detail I knew he'd cover every eventuality.. I was still worried.. wht wud I do if nythng happened during d journey.. I was still lost in my thots whn d door bell rang.. wondering if it cud b d driver.. maan hadn't mentioned ny tym so wasn't sure..

Opening d door, I was shocked to c maan dressed in casuals.. he luked so handsome.. bt wht was he doin here?!

"hi.."

"maan.. u here?"

"wont u let me in?"

"sure.. cm in.. "

"u seem 2 b done wid all d packing?"

"ummm'"

"nd.. whn do u intend to leave?"

"asap.. it ll b grt if bauji doesn't hv nyt travel.."

"grt then tht I came prepared!"

"prepared.. for wht?"

"to drive u guys down to hoshiarpur!!"

"wht.. u don't hv 2.. I mean you said we cud borrow ..?"

"relax geet.. u can keep d vehicle as long as u want to.. I ll leave u at ur destinatn n thn tk a cab bk.. dnt worry just instead of my driver its me.."

I m dumb struck.. n though I wudnt accept it.. I was so relieved..i was so over whelmed..

"why r u doin dis?"

He smirked n I remembered hw much I was in love wid dt smile..

"well tht's me.. isn't it?! Well.. I can sense d aroma of pasta.. so u think I ve nice enuf to get sm for breakfast.. its been ages since I had pasta made by u..!!"

Did he really miss it or was it just to lighten d moment.. I don't know.. but it made my day..

Wht surprised me even more was hw much maahi was happy to hv him arnd.. she willingly shared her pasta wid him.. n even bauji seemed cordial..

After breakfast we loaded d luggage.. me n maan in d front n bauji n maahi behind.. n began our journey to hoshiarpur!!
