Maan sat in the darkness of his room, recalling the various sweet memories he had with geet as for now, he had access only to them. Geet has now gone far beyond his reach. Now that he had agreed to marry alisha, the last ray of hope of his life also vanished. When he saw anger and disgust in eet's eyes, he just wanted the ground to break apart and engulf him...!!

He knew he had committed the biggest sin of his life and when he saw the pride and prestige of his father at stake, he couldn't deny him for alisha. Everything was going wrong and in all this misery his heart and feeling were sinking slowly, forcing him in the abyss of loneliness and grief from which he came out after a long time.

He rubbed his temple to straighten its crease but it hardly helped. He was broken and his only solace probably abhor him, now. He closed his eyes in agony...

Plzz forgive me geet, I am so sorry...he pleaded as the disastrous night of his life flashed before his eyes. Everything was perfect, he was happy after hearing geet's voice,but he never knew things would take such a turn from the next moment...!!

FLASHBACK...

Maan was talking to geet, when a knock on the door disturbed him. He ended the call and asked the person to enter.

Alisha...??...what happened...??...maan asked not understanding why she was here at this hour.

Sorry to disturb you sir, but I needed to discuss something important...maan gestured her to sit on the sofa and took a seat opposite to her. They discussed the matter for sometime and finally wound up the work.

Sorry to disturb you sir, but I had to show the progress report to sandy tomorrow...

Its okay, alisha...I understand...he paused and added...infact I am happy to see your dedication towards the work.

Thank you sir...she smiled.

Oh come on alisha, I told you not to call me sir outside office...we are friends remember...maan said genuinely as he thought he was a bit too rude to her in his initial days.

Maan was not expecting the sudden request and couldn't deny her outright...fine...give me five minutes. I'll get freshen up and come, till then order from here itself...alisha nodded happily and maan went inside the washroom.

When he came out, alisha was reading some magazine. They talked for sometime about work and then about maan's marraige. They even shared some of their school incident, where they talked about geet as well. After sometime their food arrived and they ate with a friendly chat, when suddenly alisha said...

By the way , maan , I never knew you were a miser...!!

What...??...he was shocked as well as confused hearing her...what are you saying alisha...??

Aur nahi toh kya...??...she made a dramatic face...you call me your friend, but you didn't even gave me a treat for your engagement...!!

Yeah, but I didn't knew you were going to get engaged and I will consider it only a new year's party...she looked at him and then added...but if you don't consider me close friend enough to give a simple treat then its okay...she pretended tobe hurt.

Maan rolled his eyes at her drama and replied...oh come on alisha, you are worse then geet in these antics...!!

When she didn't said anything, he finally sighed...okay fine, you want a treat you'll get it...!!

Really...??...she was overjoyed and instantly called the room service and ordered champagne.

Alisha, why did you ordered that...??...I don't want to drink...!!

Please maan, you only agreed for the treat and I want this only...she looked at him and saw him disturb...but if you can't handle drink its oaky...!!

Maan gave her a stern glare and said in his usual attitude...there is nothing in the world that MSK can't handle...!!

FLASHBACK ENDS...

He wished he would have denied her then it would have never happened. They would have never been so much drunk that they lost all senses...he lost the sense of right and wrong. How could he mistake alisha for geet. Never in his wildest imagination he had thought that he could ever touch anyone else than geet...even if he was drowsy, but he proved himself wrong...he is a failure and he failed his love...!!

The situation in the two mansions got worsened. With the announcement of maan and alisha's marraige, things got bad to worse. Naina was not ready to accept any other girl as her bahu other than geet...

Why did you agreed to them raj...??...how could you...??...maan is already engaged to geet then...

I know naina and it was not easy forme to do that too, but then maan left me with no other option...he ran a frustrated hand through his hair...I don't have a daughter, but I still know what a father of a girl would feel when his daughter's prestige is at stake like this. I had no other options...!!

But our maan can never do this raj, you know him na...she cried in helplessness.

I know naina, but maan didn't uttered a sigle word in his defence and all the proofs...those mms...I just don't know what to do...he was at the verge of tears...I asked him so many times, but he never said anything...!!

Yeh sab kya hogaya raj...??...naina cried hugging raj.

But how can bhai saheb do this to us...to our geet...rano cried shaking mohinder, who was totally enraged at the turn of event.

Don't cry rano...I'll find much better guy for our princess...he said to console her though his heart knew there was no one better than maan for their girl. But he was himself helpless infront of their trecherous destiny.

But geet toh sirf maan ko chahti hai...!!

Maan bhi toh geet ko chahta tha na...par kya hua...??...mohinder retorted...I still can't believe maan could do something like this...!!

Nahi ji, my heart says maan is innocent...rano always considered maan as her son. Among all the kids, she adored and trusted him the most...may be even more than her own daughter.

Bas rano, I don't want maan'stopic to be raised before geet any more...he said and added with a determined face...and I'll not let my daughter suffer in loneliness...he paused for a second...I'll find a suitable match for her very soon...!!

Next day geet got ready for office and came down, but was stopped by his father...geet puttar, where are you going...??

Papaji, I am going to office...she replied eating her breakfast.

No geet, you'll not go to KC. I'll not let you suffer at that place...mohinder was hell angry and concern for geet.

Geet looked at his father and understood his worries...papaji, don't worry...your daughter is not weak and I'll not suffer,but make those people suffer, who'll trouble me...she had a fierce expression in her eyes.

But beta, tum wahan kaise...??

Papaji, do you trust me...??...she asked while he nodded...then please don't ask meto quit KC. Its my dream job and I don't want to sacrifice it for anything...!!

Finally mohinder agreed reluctantly and geet left. She called vicky and asked the status of their plan...

Vicky, did you reach there...??

Yes doll, I have reached and don't worry I have already started my work...vicky replied from the other side.

Good...!!...just finish the work soon and get back here...geet said with excitement and added...I want to show the real face of that chudail to everyone...!!

I know geet and you know what I think your suspicion was correct...he looked at the hotel infront of him...things are a bit fishy over here...!!

Alisha came to maan's cabin and saw him immersed in some thoughts. She knew he was upset and thought...I know maan all this is troubling you,but there was no other option left for me and I just can't loose you. Don't worry once we'll get married, I'll give you so much love that you'll forget that stupid geet forever...!!

She smirked at thought of their marraige, but put up a straight face and went to him...uh, maan...he looked at her and then turned his head back to the file...what do you want alisha...??...his tone was a bit indifferent, which alisha didn't like a bit. But she contolled her annoyance and said in a polite voice...

Woh, I just wanted to say thanks to you for accepting the marraige proposal. I didn't know what would I have done if you have not accepted me...she looked at him fora reaction, but all she got was his blank face.

There is no need of all that alisha...you may leave...he said without looking at her.

Maan, woh...geet...she tried a last time to get a confirmation from him that he will not back out from his promise, but just her name from alisha's mouth infuriated maan.

He got up from his chair and shouted at her...WHICH PART OF LEAVE YOU DON'T GET ALISHA...??...JUST GET LOST...!!

His sudden out burst scared alisha like hell. His eyes were spitting fire and she knew it was best not to trouble him more when he is in his worse cranky mood. So she just shed some tears to show her hurt and left from there without another word.

Alisha came out from maan's cabin angrily as she thought how he scolded her for that geet. She just couldn't digest her insult when they were about to get married in few day...just wait maan. Once I get into your life and got the status of your wife, the first thing I'll dowill be throwing out that bitch from your life forever...she thought and marched towards the lift without watching ahead and suddenly collided with someone.

The impact of collison made alisha fell down,while the other person stood there with furious eyes. Alisha was equally mad at the collison and was about to shout at the person, when she looked up and saw geet staring at her with a murderous glare.

Geet saw her on the floor and taunted...oh look who has fallen down...she made a disgusting face and added...niche girne ke siva tumse umeed bhi kya ki ja sakti hai...!!

Alisha was already angry at maan's out burst and now, with geet's taunting she exploded...SHUT UP...JUST SHUT UP...!!

NO I'LL NOT...geet was equally charged...and by the way, why are you shouting...??...I just spoke the truth...she had fire in her eyes.

Hearing their shout a good crowd gathered. But geet was not in control today. Maan's painfull face kept coming in front of her. Alisha on the other hand saw the crowd and tried to act all innocent...geet, please don't insult me like that. I know you are upset because of your broken marraige, but I did nothing intentionally...she thought it to be the best opportunity and added salt to her wound saying...its just that me and maan were not in senses, we just lost control. Please don't think bad about maan, its not his fault alone and moreover, he is a human and that too a man, who got carried away seeing me...!!

But to her utter surprise or rather displeasure, instead of getting angry or abuse her or maan,geet started laughing like a maniac. Everyone thought she has lost it due to the shock, but when they heard her next words they all were left shocked...

Really alisha...??...she asked sarcastically...maan got CARRIED AWAY and that too for YOU...she stressed the words carried away and you with such contempt and mockery that alisha was highly offended and asked through gritted teeth...

What do you mean by that...??

Geet looked at her with a calm face and replied in a cool voice just contrary to her previous tone...I just wants to say that tumhari aukaat nahi hai ki maan tumhe dubara dekhen...chuna toh door ki baat hai...!!

Her voice was filled with confidence which left alisha and the spectators stunned. Sneha too had came out and heard the tussel. She got to know about all the issue yesterday, but couldn't meet geet due to her father's sudden illness. She couldn't believe maan sir could do something like that as she had witnessed their love blossom. She was shcoked to hear about them and thought geet would be devastated. But here she was seeing a complete opposite geet.

Alisha felt humiliated with geet's words, but couldn't do much infront of the whole crowd as she has to keep her bechari image intact. But she couldn't stop her self from provoking geet inorder to hear something that will go maan as her trust on maan was scaring her. It could be dangerous for their plan.So, she continued her act...

Geet your saying anything won't change the fact. I know you are hurt that maan has changed his decision of marrying you and accepted me...

But before she could say any further, geet cut in...your wings don't have the power to sustain your inflated dreams, so you better keep yourself in check...otherwise the day the bubble of your fantasy will burst, you'll fall head on...!!...maine tumse kahan na, tunhari aukaat nahi hai maan se kisi bhi tarah se jurne ki...aur shaadi abhi hui nahi hai. Jab tak geet handa hai, I won't let any of your plan succeed miss alisha joshi. Na tum schoolmein jeeti thi aur na yahan jeetogi...!!

So, she knew her identity...alisha thought and all her words made her apprehensive towards her...did she know about their plan...??...but how is it possible...??...she was about to speak again, when maan came there and shouted at everyone...

What the hell is going on here...??...do I pay you guys to create chaos in my office...he glared at alisha and geet...everyone back to work now...!!

Soon the crowd dispersed leaving maan, geet and alisha behind. Alisha thought to gain some sympathy from maan and shed some of her crocodile tears...

I am sorry maan, I didn't wanted to say anything, but geet started abusing me and...

I am in no mood to hear your sob story, just get back to work...and poor alisha had no choice than following her boss orders. So, giving geet a hard glare she left from their with a though to contact sandy and inform him about the recent event.

Now, maan and geet were left alone. After all the drama it was the first time, they were all alone like this. Maan was once again surrounded by his guilt seeing geet and rushed back to his cabin, but he didn't knew that geet would not let him escape this time. She followed him to his and once inside closed the door and blinds.

The sound of click of door made maan realize her presence and when he saw her locking the door, his eyes grew wide...

What are you doing geet...??...he asked narrowing his brows.

Wohi jo mujhe bahut pehle kar lena chahiye tha...she looked at him with piercing gaze and maan just backed away seeing her coming close. He knew once she is close enough, he'll lose it again and now, he didn't even have the right to think about her let alone touching her...!!

Stop geet, just leave from here...he turned his back to her...I have work to do...!!

But geet, didn't listen to him and engulfed him in a loving hug from behind rubbing her cheeks on his back, just like she used to do in their childhood. But maan stiffened with this action of hers. It only aroused him to no extent. He grab her hand and twirled her around to face him...

Don't do that geet, its not right...his voice had pain embedded in it.

You have lost your sense maan to distinguish right and wrong...she spat getting angry seeing him getting back into his shell like nine years back.

Maan looked at her astonished at her words, but then thought of his act with alisha and said...yes geet, may be you are right and thats why just stay away from me. I am not worth you...!!

Who the hell are you to decide that khurana...she just lost her patience and grabbed his collar...why are you doing this maan...??...don'tyou trust me or our love one bit...she pleaded him...we will go through it together maan...!!

No geet, its not you...its me I don't trust...he pushed his hair back in frustration...can't you see dammit, I am turning into that monster again, which I once suppressed after your confession. Its has over powered me again...!!

Why are you living in the past maan...??...this is destrying our present and will destroy our future...she held his hand and tried to knock some brain into him...please don't let the past guilt shadow your rational mind. You know very well maan that you haven't done anything...its just your own mind palying with you...!!

Geet, why are you being so nice to me...??

And why are you being such a fool...??

We don't have any future geet...??

And you have a future with that bitch...??

I don't want to marry her...!!

But I'll marry you and only you...!!

Both kept looking at each other for sometime before geet spoke again...I challenge you Mr. Maan singh khurana...shaadi toh main tumhi se karungi, but not until you come of this stupid guilt of yours...and with she left his cabin leaving a stunned as well as confused maan behind.
