In the morning, Maan woke up early and entered the room, Geet had Arav in her embrace, both were sleeping peacefully, he smiled faintly seeing the two cuddling, then went to brush his teeth, after freshening up, he left to his gym to work out, ever since Anjali had been diagnosed with cancer, he stopped working out wanting to take care of her.

Geet woke up a little later, she looked at the sleeping form of Arav, and pecked his forehead gently, then went to shower.

After another half an hour, Maan made his way back to his room, Arav started crying, feeling the loss of warmth, he sat up, sobbing, whilst in the shower, Geet hurriedly finished, she grabbed the towel wrapping around her body, she came out and picked him up straight away trying to calm him unaware Maan was just stood near the door.

Maan looked at her wet form then turned around, leaving the room closing the door behind him, Geet stopped in her steps hearing the door closed, she turned to see, then realised Maan must've been here and he left seeing her like that, she cursed herself mentally, calming down Arav, she passed him teddy to play with, she settled him on the bed, and went to change. Within a matter of minutes, she changed into a salwar suit. Maan entered once again, and sighed in relief not seeing Geet, he looked at Arav who was playing with his teddy, he was passing by to enter to his room, when Geet had just come out the washroom and banged into him, causing her to nearly fall, Maan simultaneously wrapped his arms round her petite waist to stop her from falling.

Geet can't you see where you're going?

Sorry Mr perfectionist, you're talking as if you were looking where you're going

Geeet...

What? Let me go

Fine, he let go making her fall on her back.

Ouch...you

What huh? You told me to let you go

I hate you jeej she screamed out, only to have the room in silence, the awkward silence filled the room, Maan straightened himself, he offered his hand to her, Geet hesitantly put her hand forward and stood with his help.

Geet- Woh sorry...

It's ok, Maan left to his room, closing the door, he leaned his head back onto the door, closing his eyes, Geet got Arav ready as quickly as she could, she picked out a suit for Maan, laying it on the bed, she then went down, Maan came out after 20mins and went to the washroom to shower, as he entered he could smell her jasmine aroma, he turned on the shower letting the cold water flow down his bare body. As he came out, he noticed the suit, smiling to himself; he took the suit and changed.

Geet helped Anaya cook breakfast, while Dadima had Arav, after settling the table, everyone joined, Geet saw Maan had worn the suit she had chosen and was contended for some reason, she had initially thought he'd reject the clothes. Geet took Arav to her lap to feed him his breakfast, she tied the bib around his neck, then took a spoonful of porridge near his mouth which he hungrily took in, her eyes didn't seem to move away from him, he had Anjali's smile and her dark brown eyes. Maan admired the scene before him, after breakfast, he went to get a few files before he left for work, Geet sat in the hall with Dadima and Anaya while dev had already left to see a site.

Maan came down with the necessary files, he bent down and pecked Arav who was sitting on Geet's lap, while he regained his posture, his lips brushed Geet's by accident, Geet stopped breathing, Maan was shocked as well, he didn't want to embarrass himself and her infront of Dadima and Anaya who were oblivious, he left instantly.

In the evening, Geet settled Arav down in bed, placing two pillows on either side of him, she went to freshen up and change, her thoughts went to Maan, and the slight brush of their lips, a small formed on her lips, rarely visible, she touched her lips, then smacked herself mentally, Geet sapne dekna band kar, Maan tujhe aise nahi dekhte, jhalli kahin ki.

Maan came back from the office late due to the amount of the work which piled up because of his absence, he chided himself for leaving Sasha and Adi to handle everything, both were good for nothing, Adi always laughs and that Sasha seemed to shorten her dresses day by day.

He reached home by 1 in the morning, he slowly crept in the room, not wanting to wake Geet or Arav and was passing by until he heard Geet's voice.

Aap aa gaye, Geet whispered out, seeing him creep in like a thief, she was about to scream, then she saw his face in the moonlight.

Maan stopped then turned to see her, her face was a barely visible due to the darkness, Geet switched the bed lamp on, Maan nodded- kuch chahiye?

Nahi woh main khana laga doon

It's ok, I'll warm the food myself.

Main kar loonga, aap fresh ho jaye,

He nodded and left to freshen up, while Geet went down to warm his food, Maan showered and came out of the washroom and saw Arav sat up and playing with his teddy, mumbling, he walked over and picked him up in his arms.

Arav daddy ko miss kiya, Arav only mumbled something and clapped his hands, Maan smiled, pecking his forehead and walked down with him.

He sat at the dining table, with Arav, Geet came out with food and placed it on the table

Once she plate up his food, she went to take Arav

Nahi Geet rehne do usse

Aap pehle kha lo tab tak main usko doodh pila deta hoon, Maan nodded and passed Arav, Geet had already prepared the bottle as he wakes around this time, she settled him in her arms and started giving his feed, Maan ate and watched how she talked with Arav.

Then both made their way up, upon entering, Geet lay Arav down, whilst Maan went to the adjacent room, within half an hour, both had dozed off with the events of today running in their minds.
