"ridzy tu na nahi sudharegi" geet said hiding her geniune smile...
"koi shak" and she winked again...then getting up...she pulled geet along with her...
"ab chal jaldi bata...me so excited to hear it..."
"lekin lekin lekin ek warning hai...i dont want tears...yara its a love story...thodi koi daily soap hai jisme rone ke alwa kuch na ho...tu na isse sadgi se suna jaise ki tu hai..."
geet playfully smacked her back...to which ridzy kissed her cheek...wiping the traces of tears...and both of them started laughing...
"chalo abhi jaldi se batao..."ridzy pulled geet along with her n sat on the bed comfortably folding her legs...
geet sat their looking down...forming words...thinking from where to start...then secretly blushed...
ridzy looked at her suspiciously...bending down...trying to get her expression..."are u blushing"...she spoke teasingly...giving a mischievous smile...
poor geet could not hide her pink cheeks which looked more prominent...she looked other way...avoiding ridzy's teasing gaze...
"oye hoye kudiye itna sharmayegi toh bolegi kab"...ridzy said pulling geet's arms...making geet face her..."chal na ab kitna bhav khayegi meri jaan"
"ha baba batati hu"...geet took a long breath closing her eyes... calming her super fast heart beats before starting...
"it was dreamy...i didnt realise what was love or crush then...i was just in class 9th...he was my classmate...fair, handsome, tall, and had charming looks...i was ok types...use to seat on last bench in my class becose of my tall height among gals...but i was good in studies"...she said proudly...smiling...
"His name was as beautiful as he was..."MAAN"...her heart skipped few beats taking his name...he use to sit two rows away frm me, with his frnd in second last bench...i never realised his presence in class till that day...uff...we had our sports period...we gals were just roaming around the play ground, while boys were busy with football...then i saw him running towards me...i freezed on the spot...like something told me to stand still...while my other friends just walked away...he came, bend down infront of me, took the ball and turned away...i just kept looking at him blankly...and then he ran back to the boys again...but then while running he just turned his head around, and looked at me...he smiled...what was that i thought...then the whole sports period i was stealing glances at him"...geet smiled thinking...and ridzy looked at her friend affectionately...getting more curious to know what happened next..."fir kya hua"
"fir...the period got over and we headed towards our classroom...then i noticed he belonged to my class...i kept looking at him, his every move...he sat on his bench and suddenly looked at me...i right away looked other side, getting caught...biting my lips...smacking myself mentally to have done that"...
ridzy laughed pulling geet's cheeks..."my cuty pie"....to which geet made a puppy face...
"aage sunana hai na" she said making a baby angry face...
"ha baba sunana hai bata na"
"then our maths lecture started...i was trying hard to concentrate on maths...but my hard luck...i again looked at his bench...ohh god...he was already looking at me...since he was seating on second last bench...he leaned backward looking at me...our gaze met...i looked at his those magnetic charming eyes...got scared n looked away...this feeling were alien to me then...i didnt knew what was happening with me..."she sighed...then continued...
"the remaining day went well...and while returning back home with my friends...I saw him again with his friends...he was busy chatting with them...completely involved...
"i don't know why, but i felt just one look of his would make my weekend better...i kept looking at him now and then, but he didn't turned...it felt horrible...the whole weekend I only thought about him and his smile...i felt so irritated that why I am even bothered about a mere staranger..." geet said pouting, visualizing that moment...
"finally it was Monday...our classes started...he was there...we use to steal glances now and then avoiding one another...whole two months went like dis...then I got use to it...use to his staring and my odd behaviour"...she smiled...
"I use to try ignoring him as much as possible...would ran away frm any situation were he was there...this continued for a while...and then we had our unite test exams...it went well...i got highest marks in maths...i myself could not believe it...our teacher called me infront of the whole class...and she congratulated me for doing so well...that was the first time I felt so nervous facing everybody...my gaze met his and he was smiling...suddenly i felt much more comfortable...like he took all my anxiety away with his sweetest smile...a smile appeared on my face and i turned my head toward my friends and went to my seat..."
"ohh that was so cute baby...kash mai waha hoti yeh sab dekhane..." ridzy said sighing dramatically...keeping her hand on her heart...making geet blushed profusely...
"then we had our lunch break...and I use to eat wid my frnds in our class room itself...he used to hangout with friends or be at canteen around that time...but that day his whole gang was in the class room...I felt so embrassed eating in front of them...i kept looking down feeling his gaze on me...shying...some how completed my lunch...and then hurriedly left to wash my hands...and then after some time i came back...hoping he would have left by that time...and as i thought he was not there and neither his friends...i went to my friends who were chit chating...and my best friend dragged me and gave me one note...i asked her what is it...and she just told me to open it..."
"i opened it and found it was from him...i was hell scared...then I looked at my friend...she assured me to open it...i bit my lips getting nervous and opened it...and a smile appeared on my face...it was written..."CONGRATES"...till date I have that note with me..."
"really...show me...mujhe bhi dekhana hai"...ridzy said chirpily getting excited...geet pulled out a note from her diary...which she kept in an envelop sticking it to her diary...
"wow...this looks so fresh...and his hand writing...beautiful...geet i wana meet him...he is so cute"...geet smiled...
"jaldi bata aage kya hua"
"after that incidence, looking at him or smiling never felt odd...I found him so familiar...just like my friends...but still talking or having any conversation was something unimaginable..."geet said looking away...
"then the unexpected happened...we had our drawing classes...that was the last period...the bell rang...i got up, packed my bags to leave...and then there was one guy who use to stay in our locality...he was so annoying and always use to irritate me in our locality function...he was a failure and my bad luck that I was passed in his clas...so he was my classmate as well...now wat happened was i got up to leave...he came frm no where and grabbed my wrist...i tried freeing myself...wriggling badly...but he was just no where to let go...he asked me if we can go home together... i said no...my friends told him to let go...bt he was so stubborn..."
"kaun tha woh kamina...tune usse thappad kyu nahi mara" ridzy said getting annoyed...geet calmed her..."mujhe kuch samjh nahi aaya yaar...i got scared"
"that was the first time I felt abused...and then my saviour came...my knight in shining armor...maan stood next to me and told him to leave my hand...I just kept looking down...was not able to meet his eyes...I thought woh kya soch raha hoga mere bare mai...this brought tears in my eyes...he again told him firmly to leave my hand...and that guy freed my hand...n then I again heard him saying sternly...TUM GHAR JAO...GO HOME NOW...
i jerked away feeling shivers ran down my whole body...I moved out of my class still looking down..."
"and kept sobbing the whole day...
next day I just didn't felt like going to school...I felt so scared of that guy...I felt he would bug me again...
and then after whole one day I went back to school...i saw him sitting at his usual place...I went to my desk looking down...didnt had guts to face him...one whole week went like this...i really longed to see his smile...his handsome face...it felt terrible...but still i kept my self aloof from him...during our sports classes or drawing classes I used to keep myself busy with frnds...completely avoiding him"
