I sat down quietly, scared to speak. Maan was glaring at Annie who was terrified. "What are you doing here talking to a stranger", he growled. I was hurt – I had become a stranger in one day. Vikram's voice rang into my mind, he had said "you dare to backfire...now, watch how he'll torture you...you'll plead that you never dared to play games behind my back..." I hate you Vikram...I hate you...but that was not important now.

"You better concentrate in your studies, Anvesha" Maan said angrily. "And you Dadimaa don't you have any other work than coming to listen to lies or the pleads of this woman". I felt tears slipping my cheeks. "I was only asking about her health" Dadimaa said firmly. She was not afraid of his grandson. "Fine, Geet, I'll come later" she said and shoved Annie out of the room.

I moved to get myself a drink – rather you'd say running away from his anger. "Where are you going" he snapped. "I am thirsty" I said lowering my eyes and whispering. He walked and got me a glass of water. I drank silently looking in his eyes. He was angry but that did not affect me. "Look" he said seriously "I want the baby to be alright...understood". I nodded unable to say anything...

How I wish Geet I never met you? Are you even aware of the pain you're causing me everyday...How could I trust you? How! This makes me so angry that I feel like hurting myself, punishing myself instead of Geet. I wish I had never told you about my feelings...that now you consider as my weaknesses.

I only have one motive – that is my baby...my child...my blood...

But one thing is sure – I still love Geet no matter what – I can't hurt her...that's my real weakness
