Once Upon a Chance

He walked out of his car, into the rain. His driver held up an umbrella to him, but He pushed him away. He closed his eyes and let himself loose in the rain. The action reminded him of something she had done so often. The very thing that had led to their 1st hug.
She was special, unique, different, and above all she was his. A special gift god gave to him. She was the gust of wind on a sweltering hot day. She was the cup of black coffee in the morning. She was the light of his eyes. She was where his eyes got solace. She was...She was...She was... Now, she was gone. Gone from his life forever.
Kehte hain:
Khuda ne iss jahaan mein
Sabhi ke liye kisi na kisi ko hai banaaya
Har kisi ke liye
Tera milna hai uss rab ka ishaara
Maano mujhko banaya tere jaise hi kisi ke liye
He still remembered that wretched moment. Whenever he closed his eyes he remembered her face. The face always filled with laughter, life, and care. It was now masked with hurt and bewilderment. He remembered him avoiding her. She kept begging for him to listen, and to hear her whole story. He didn't...his head kept pounding with the words "I am Pregnant". He had felt as if the ground had slipped from beneath his feet. He fell into a dark, emotionless, black pit. From which even she couldn't pull him out of. All because he kept pushing himself back in.

He entered the house smiling for the 1st time in many. Smiling because it was raining, and he knew that she loved the rain. And he loved her. He had been a coward. Yes, he had let her go, and not stopped her. Oh, how he wished time would go back and he could stop her. Alas, he couldn't. He would give his life to have her back in his arms. Coincidentally, it was the only way too. The only way he would get to meet her now would be if he was dead.
hmm Meharbaani jaate-jaate mujh pe kar gaya
Guzarta saa lamha ek daaman bhar gaya
Tere nazaara mila, roshan sitaara mila
Taqdeer ki kashtiyon ko kinara mila
Sadiyon se tarse hai jaisi zindagi ke liye

She was gone. She was dead. At least, that's what people said. In his heart, she was very much alive. His heart wouldn't believe it because everywhere he looked; she was there. Her presence was everywhere. From the chiming of the wind chimes to every breath he took, to every beat his heart gave.
He knew she was his true love...The one created for him. He was ignorant; she was taken away from him...But he also knew that he will get a chance. Next time he wouldn't be foolish, he'll find her, keep her close to him, and he won't let her go. And with that thought he clutched even tighter to the photograph of her in one of his hands, and with his other hand he cut his vein with a sharp piece of glass...
Hoping, Believing, and Knowing, that he will get a chance. And with that chance they will be together.
