20. Geet is happy to find all her friends there wishing her. Maan rips up the divorce papers. Vikram and Anjali are happy. All happy familes. Suraj n Tanvi arrive. Suraj gives her a box. Geet looks through it and finds a tape. 'Its Tej saying Happy Birthday to Geet and then showing him opening the door and being shot'. The person is in black. Geet is shocked. Geet goes to talk to Maan she overhears 'Don't worry Geet doesn't know Tej death was a murder. She will never know all her life. She will live in the illusion is was an accident not a preplanned murder'

Geet felt like she was now on top of the world. Everything was perfect. She had confessed her feelings to Maan, Sameera was fine with it and on top of that Maan loved her. She turned to face him as he drove the car towards home after picking up her luggage from Nupur's house. Nupur was so happy for Geet. Geet looked at him with all her love in her eyes. Maan noticed her looking at him and smiled. He was ectastic as well knowing that Geet loves him. They both had got there love fulfilled.

'aisa kya dekh rahi ho Geet' Maan asked. Geet was caught offguard as Maan noticed her staring. She smiled nervously being caught and replied

'kuch nahi..woh main soch rahi ti ke…' Geet fumbled with her words thinking about what to say.

'ke tum muj se kitna pyar karti ho na' Maan smirked and replied parking the car as they arrived at Khurana Mansion. Geet looked down and blushed and ran out of the car not being able to meet his eyes. Maan smiled at the cute antics of his wife.

Geet ran into the house smiling to bump into Anjali. Anjali looked at her smiling face and smiled.

'kya baat hai, aaj hamari bhabhi bohot khush lag rahi hai' Anjali said with a teasing voice. Geet looked down and blushed as Maan walked in alongside Vikram. Anjali was happy as well as Pari was returned last night finally.

'ha di.. woh kya hai na Geet bhagne ke race main 1^st to ayi ti na' Maan teased and joked. Geet looked at him with her mouth opened in a 'o' shape. Everyone started laughing as Geet sulked. Anjali hugged her.

'waah Geet kya baat hai.. Shaadi ke badh toh tum hame bulhi gayi haina' A voice said. Geet came out of the hug and saw Suraj and Tanvi standing at the door.

'Suraj, Tanuuu' Geet ran up to them and hugged them.

'Pata hai maine aap dono ke kitna miss kiya' Geet said with tears. Tanvi wiped her tears as Maan Anjali and Vikram watched the reunion of Geet and her childhood friends.

'ha ha bohot miss kiya, kitni mahine hogaye aur tune to ek phone bi kiya?' Suraj mocked anger.

'Suraj jhoot mat bolo.. Geet ne last week to call kiya ta.. tum to paagal hona' Tanvi said. Geet laughed. Anjali asked them to have lunch as there luggage was put into the outhouse rooms. At the dining table, Maan and Geet kept staring at eachother with glances. They sat next to eachother. Maan held Geet's hand and pulled her closer and said

'bas Geet aaj raat ka interzaar hai' he whispered huskily in her ears. Geet blushed.

'aisa blush mat karo warna I'll eat your rosy cheeks here' Maan said. Geet looked down.

'Kya baat hai sale saab waha par kya romance chal raha hai' Vikram teased. Geet and Maan looked at eachother and Maan let go of her hand. Both were embarrassed as everyone started laughing.

After lunch Geet went into her room. Suraj and Tanvi had given her a box of her things from her old house that she forgot to bring. Inside was a tape. Geet looked at it with curiosity.

'yeh kya hai' She wondered. She got the tape out and played it. It was her brother.

'Hi Geet kaise ho tum? Happy Birthday meri Guriya.. aaj tum 19 years ki hogai.. maine socha shayad main late hojao tumhe ghar pe ake bara baje wish karne ke liye isliye maine tumhare liye automatic message record kar raha ho. Ab to aaj raat tumhara janam din to hai na. Main yaha kuch kaam main pasa hua hu. Lekin main tumhe yeh tape pocha donga..22^nd May se pehle. Aur ha teri shaadi ka umar nazdeek aa raha hai. Tej got up to open the door. There was a scuffle.

'kitni baar kaha hai.. main tum log ke baat nahi mane wala. Geet ko ya aus zameen peh bilkul nahi' Tej said. Then Tej walked towards the camera when someone shot him.

Geet screamed watching the tape. 'bhaaaiii' Tears came out of her eyes. She walked to the tv screen and saw someone in black pick him up and take him away.The tv screen then went blank.

'matlab ke Maan ke gari se nahi balke kisi aur na bhai ko maara.' Geet cried in pain. How she thought her brother was taken away by her love but she was wrong. She took the tape out and went towards Maan's room when she heard Maan speak on the phone.

Geet was shocked. She fell back hearing that. Maan heard a noise. He turned around and saw a vase had broken. He came out to see but Geet had already run off.

Arnav smirked as his new plan had started to take shape. He was in his dark room drinking a glass of wine when the doorbell rang. He had received information that Geet had seen the tape and gone to Maan's room and ran out of the house. Someone in Khurana Mansion was a spy for him.

He opened the door and saw Geet in tears and hair messed up. He faked concern and said

'Geet kya hua?' He asked. Geet hugged him and cried.

'Mera koyi nahi hai.. sab ne dhoka diya hai' Geet cried as Arnav led her into his flat.

'calm down Geet kya hua' Arnav asked showing sympathy and smirked inside.

'wohh..' Geet explained everything to her. Arnav hugged her and gave her water. He smirked at his plan being completed. Finally Geet was his and Maan will be far away.

'Tum kya chahti ho Geet? Kya tum yehi chahti ho ke Maan ko sazaa ho?' asked Arnav. Geet looked up at him. She knew on both sides she will be defeated. If she doesn't send Maan to prison, then her brother Tej's soul will never live in peace. If she does, she will be sending her love away. But for her to fulfil her path for justice was more important.

'haan..Maan ne mujse mere bhai cheena hai.. I want him arrested' Geet said with determination. Arnav smirked to himself and called a number and arranged the police to arrest Maan.

Meanwhile at Khurana Mansion, everyone was going berserk looking for Geet. Maan was worried when police arrived.

'Police Inspector aap' Anjali asked. She looked at everyone confused.

'Kya baat hai inspector?' Vikram stepped forward.

'Hamari pass warrant hai Mr Maan Singh Khurana ke liye' The inspector replied.

'Kya.. kyun kaise' Anjali cried out.

'Jee haa.. for the murder of Mr Tejinder Singh Handa' The inspector replied.

'wait, yeh report kisne likwayi?' asked Tanvi shocked.

'Ms Geet Handa and Mr Arnav Chaudry'

Everyone was shocked. Geet wrote a report for Maan to be arrested. But they only had got back together. Maan knew what was playing on Geet's mind. She must have heard him speak on the phone hence the empty vase. But he accepted even death from Geet's hand. But what hurt him the most was the fact that Geet removed his name from her name.

'Chaliye Inspector' Maan said. Everyone was shocked. He nodded a no at them. as he left.

Mayank and Nupur came to the jail to meet Maan.

'Maan what is this? Tum jail main kaise?' asked Mayank.

'ha, abhi to tumhari aur Geet ki sula hui ti.. yeh sab' Nupur asked.

'Tum dono meri baat suno aur tik se suno.. Geet ke jaan katre main hai' Maan said looking serious as he explained to Nupur and Mayank what he knew. He was earlier talking to Mayank about Tej murder on the phone when Geet had heard

Mayank entered Khurana Mansion and saw everyone upset solemn faces. He knew for a fact something was wrong. Geet was fine with Maan and understood it was an accident. But all of a sudden everything had changed. The police report said Tej had been shot and then there was an attempt to make it look like an accident. How did Geet find this out?

. He walked towards Suraj and Tanvi's room as there arrival must have triggered something.

'Jee aap?' asked Suraj noticing him. He smiled.

'ha Mera naam Mayank hai.. kya aap Geet ke dost ho?' asked Mayank.

'jee.. ham aaj hi ayi aur yeh sab hua.. Geet kaha hai tik to hai na..' asked Suraj.

'ha..woh tik hai. Ek baat mujhe samaj main nahi aati..aap ke aane ke badh yeh sab hua.. I mean' Mayank paused to get his words right. 'kya aap ne Geet ko kuch kaha?' Mayank asked.

'nahi to..kuch bi to nahi' Suraj said 'Humne to bohot din se baat nahi ki.. aajhi ayi..I haven't spoken to her since she got married to Maan. Bohot busy teh hum aur phir Tej bhai ke death aur sab kuch.'

'tik hai' Mayank left but he had doubt on Suraj as he appeared to be different.

At that moment Tanvi entered and looked at Suraj. He smiled at her. Tanvi had heard the conversation and wondered why was Suraj being different and sweating. And why did he lie that he hadn't spoken to Geet since her marriage and that he was busy. That's when her mind clicked. He never told her where he got so much money from nor what his new job was. Like any wife, she thought it was a normal office type job. But village jobs don't pay that much.

'Suraj chalo kahi bahar chalteh hai' Tanvi said. She was now suspicious of Maan.

'ha chalo.. bohot tension hai yaha..' Both walked to the front door when Tanvi said

'ek minute. I forgot my purse' Tanvi smiled. Suraj smiled back. He went to get a taxi. Tanvi looked in Suraj's bag because she knew she only had 5 minutes before Suraj came. She was shocked what he found. She also found a prepaid mobile which said following message sent.

'Geet mission accomplished. Maan now in jail. Please send me my money asap'

'Money sent. You enjoy your money. I enjoy Maan in jail and Geet mine'

She also found evidence linking to Maan's innocence and who the actual culprit was.

'Suraj…tumhe Geet ke saath itna bara khel khela?' Tanvi said with tears.

'ha khela' Suraj said. Tanvi turned around and saw Suraj who looked at her in anger.

'kyun kiya tumhe aisa Tanvi.. you know how much I love you.. aur hamari liye maine I've earnt so much money' Suraj said locking the door.

'Paise…For ruining Maan and Geet's life.. for Tej veerji murderer free?.. kaise tumhe.. main abhi jarahi ho police station' Tanvi yelled at him.

'tum kahi nahi ja rahi' Suraj said dangerious voice. He grabbed Tanvi and slapped her as she struggled. Suraj tied her up and made her unconscious as he took her to a secret hideout.

'just wait Tanvi.. for all this to be over and then me and you will be away. Geet will be with Arnav and Maan in jail' Suraj smirked hifiving Arnav standing next to him.

22. Geet is taken to a house and looks at it. She has some faint memories. Arnav tells her, the truth. Of her heritance. Geet wonders. Naintara comes and hugs and blesses her. She promises to get Maan punished for what he done to Geet. (Geet sees proof and weird images and hugs Naintara) Naintara and Arnav smirk evilly. Tanvi escapes. Mayank and Nupur go out of town.
