OMG! I have never watched all the Pari scenes in this episode and had no idea about her history with Maan! What a funny story. But it sort of makes me wonder if this Maan that she met 3 years ago was pre or post Sameera because she describes him as smiling. Sigh, there were so many chances to go into Maan's past and they never took one.
Anyway, the highlight of this episode was of course the jhoota khana scenes and there were so many dialogues filled with meaning that stood out. One of my favourites is when Geet says ek vo hain jo mere liye ye khana bheja aur ek ye... It made me think of the thing that I have always loved about Maan's character, that paradox of gentle nurture and tough love, bringing out the fighter in her. He was such a parental figure to her, some times maternal and sometimes paternal, which is why he so comprehensively became her whole world. He was a whole family wrapped into one wonderful human being!
And even though he wants her to think he is ruthless and angry, he just cannot stand the idea of her suffering
Episode 99
This naughty Maan is just so HOT! My eyes pop out of my head every time he does something and then looks at Geet for a reaction, observing that things are going exactly according to plan, while Geet gets more and more flustered trying to figure out what exactly she wants from the situation. And it was pushing the limit for him to "subtly" remind her of the JA moment with the jhumka. Of course when she remembers that moment, all the feelings that come with it are going to come flooding in! This Maan is too smart, I say.
And Geet is no less! She has finally learned to sort of control her feelings now that she has come to terms with them and confuses Maan just as much as he pushes her. And so they play on. And when Geet plays back at him that is when Maan's frustration reaches new heights and he starts getting physical, which he knows is another level of weakness for Geet. Yeesh these two are intense whe it comes to each other! And then they get carried away in each other and forget they are playing a game at all! WHY are they so perfect?
The coffee scene is hilarious again where Maan and Geet are totally into what the other is thinking and saying and Pari is all "HELLOoo!"
Episode 100
Congratulations all on reaching episode 100, first of all! Now onto the jealousy!
If jealous Geet was cute than protective Geet is ADORABLE! I love how she wonders what the fate of her poor Maan sir is while she ruminates on Pari's "fast" ways. And when he calls her, her interrogation is totally wifely...where are you? who are you with? what are you doing?.
And I love how for Maan this whole exercise revolves around Geet, because when she is there he looks only at her and when she is not there he looks for her. And what was the need to change into that appealing black number miss Geet? You were only going to deliver his phone, right?
I have to say that Maan looked especially hot in this episode! That loose vest and the tie were the perfect fit! And for someone who doesn't drink, I think he did that scene with the chugging and the reaction remarkably well! I can just imagine his throat and chest must all be burning like crazy and his reaction was spot on! And he does it again, asking her the questions to which there is only one answer which she is majboor not to give.
And haye. Where's the Party Tonight was a slick sequence that showed Maan and Geet''s feelings in full clarity. Maan is desperate for that acknowledgment and acceptance from Geet and he is going as far as he needs to to get it and Geet is tortured by him being with another woman, feeling possessive and protective of him when she can see him doing something that she knows is not him. And finally I just love when she marches up to him and stakes her claim to him as her property. You are mine and you are coming with me. And his expression as he gets dragged along is one of such satisfaction. Right from this time, Maan was someone who wanted to be loved. That was the only cure for his bitterness and Geet gave him a glimpse without even realising, just by being her brave, kind and passionate self. And once he tasted acceptance with her, he couldn't go back to his old self. But what he wanted most at this stage was for her to acknowledge this feeling was as strong in her.
