Geet went to the terrace searching for Maan.
G:Maan!
He was angry:Don't talk to me.We are newly married.But instead of spending time with me you are busy in the kitchen.
G:Maan,i am a responsible daughter in law.I have to do my duties.
M:Because of your duty we did'nt even go for honeymoon.
G:Why should we go abroad for our honeymoon when we have a nice terrace here.Beautiful dark sky.Stars shine like diamonds.Moon is lovely.So romantic.
M:Geet,i am not a kid to enjoy twinkle twinkle little star.
She felt like laughing.
G:Maan,tell me how do i look in this majenda salwar kameez with golden shawl?
He did'nt say anything.
She kept her arms on his shoulder singing romantically..

chupke se chupke se raath ki chaadar thale
chaand kee bhee aahat naa ho baadal ke peechhe chale

Maan did'nt respond sweetly.Her hand moved through his face.
M:What is this Geet?
G:Don't worry Maan.Not even the moon's footstep will appear.
M:Oh no...
Geet leaned towards his face.Slowly she pinched his face softly.With irritation he pinched her cheek back.Both of them pinched each other.
She smiled enjoying his soft pinch and continued singing:

raath bhee naa hile aadhee aadhee ye
chuake se chupke se raath kee chaadar thale

Geet wore a sky blue salwar kameez and came.
She whispered in his ears:
Look at me with eyes closed behind the shelter of your hand.
In bitter cold,in the soft melody, let us speak,
may night never fall; or if it does, let evening never end.If evening comes to a close, then may morning never arrive; let night upon night burn!

He held her hand.She was stunned.Then she pretended to be angry.He melted and held her close to him romantically.She smiled.

farvaree ki sardiyon ki dhoop mein
moondee moondee ankhiyon se dekhanaa
haath kee aad se
neemee neemee thand aur aag mein
haule haule maarvaa ke raag mein
meer kee baath ho

She became happy and embraced him.

din bhee na doobe raath naa aaye shaam kabhee na dhale
shaam dhale to subah naa aaye raath hee raath chale
chupke se chupake se raath kee chaadar thale
chaand kee bhee aahat naa ho baadal ke peechhe chale..

Geet wore a dark pink salwar kameez and came.
Again he pretended to be a man with attitude.
G:Started the drama again?
She went towards him.He stared at her.He looked tough.But she smiled holding his hand.That was unexpected by Maan.
G:come and embrace me some time, just like this wind has
come, take me in your arms.
My love, listen: tomorrow, if sleep won't come to me, call me to you!
Place my head in your lap and sing a lullaby.Won't you?

Her innocent question at the end made Maan smile.

She kept her head on his chest.They both smiled.

He pulled her towards him.He carassed her soft face.Her hair was blowing in the cool air.

kal jo mujhuko neend naa aaye paas bulaa lena
godi mein apnee sar rakh lenaa loree sunaa denaa

She ran away.Maan got irritated.
M:She went away again?What is wrong with her?

Geet wore a beautiful saree which showed her curves.She looked sizzling in maroon saree with sleeveless blouse.Maan was looking at the moon with anger.
M:Moon,are you not ashamed of watching us like this?I don't know where your friend Geet disappeared.
Geet smiled hearing this from behind.
G:Maan,i am back.
Maan did not want to be sweet so soon to her as she left him alone.
M:Ok..so what?
G:So what?My come back does'nt make any difference to you?Let me show you.
She went close to him singing

chupke se raath ki chaadar thale
chaand kee bhee aahat naa ho baadal ke peechhe chale..

Still he did'nt mind her.So she kept her face on his with a smile.He tried to control himself by pretending to be angry.But slowly he melted because of her touch.Without knowing that she tried to move away.He held her hand pulling her towards him.

She looked at him:Quietly embrace me, beneath the sheet of the night.
He smiled and stood very close to her.While she was singing they both drowned in each other's eyes.
