Geet started her day with excitement, she called Mandavi and talked to, it was decided that the two will meet for lunch at a certain restaurant; at 12:30 she reached the place to find Mandavi already there, the old lady hugged her when she bent down to take her blessings and said, 'you are so beautiful, no doubt my son was stumped', Geet blushed and dipped her head knotting her dupptta and counting the floor tiles.

Soon she was at ease, she was by now sure that Maan has inherited his witty nature from his mom, she told Mandavi what she has planned for 13th 14th midnight, and the older woman instantly agreed adding some spicy ideas to it. Geet exclaimed at how simple and intelligent the older lady was, not a single tinge of pride of being the richest family, her aura was strong and emitted power, still she seemed down to earth, no doubt Maan was the way he was.

Meanwhile Maan called Adi to ask her where abouts, at first the latter was surprised, but then noticing the dates he smiled, oh he is'nt going to KC, then refused to help him saying thar he did not want an already frowning Pinky to be more angry. Maan was helpless, he some how found her address and office number but was told that she had resigned 8 days back. He was clueless, he then extracted some old files and found her HSPur address, after much of tryin he managed to get the phone number, and called only to learn that Handa's don't tell strangers about there family where abouts, when he siad he was his teacher at college, the woman speaking asked hid name, and when he said Maan she greeted him but refused to tell him anything saying that she already had suffered so much after he rejected her and she needs nothing from his side now. He hung only to think how much and what did people related to her know about him.

Maan was busy in his self analysis that he failed to notice the hussle going around him, Nakul time and again came to his to take something or other, he after many of the trips asked why was he coming again and again, and Nakul said that as the winters are around the corner so he was sorting the things, Maan gave him a confused look, is it not too soon its not even Diwali he inquired, Nakul ignored him and continued to work, Maan had no other option then to leave for his study room, he knew Nakul only followed what the ladies instructed, so there was no use arguing.

With a throbbing heart Geet entered KM at 10 pm to be welcomed by over excited Pari and NT, Mandavi gave her a assuring smile whereas Dev and Vicky bend down to touch her feet, she became concious and stepped back, Dev said, 'I am your elder dewar and he is the small one' Vicky smiled nd said, 'and if bro had not been stubborn by now you would have been used to giving us blessings' Pari added, 'but I will only ask for them after you legally become our jethani' NT added, 'till then freinds' Geet also noticed that Pari nd NT were a perfect duo.

Mandavi assured her that Maan had retiredn for today in his study room as Nakul was disturbing him, Geet smiled on the efforts the family did for the stubborn Khurana, all arrangements were done, his room was decorated as per Geet's choice, and the Khurana clan was happily surprised to find how similar her taste was to Maan, she did things exzctly the way Maan used to do.

Adi and Pinky also arrived at11 pm all things were set, at 11:45 Geet entred the room with a throbbing heart, she felt the same way she used to feel whenever she had to face him, and today she was going to see him after 5 years 11 months, she was very nervous. Once insid the room she checked herself and observed the things around her; the decorations were all perfect, at 11:55 she knocked the adjoining study door, and there came an instant reply, 'now what Nakul you want me to get out of my study as well, man do you ever sleep' she was not expecting this, but hearing his annoyed voice reminded her of all the days he used to shout on her, she again knocked the door but no reply came this time, she knocked again, there came a sound of scraping chair followed by footsteps, she held her breath, he stopped but the door did not open;

Maan was caught in a hanging curtain and this made him halt, he removed the curtain and turned the handle to open the door, on the other side she counted till 10 and turned the handle to open the door, as the door opened they collided she was about to fall but he caught her instintly, at the same time the clock struck 12 and the lights turned on, and everyone started to sing happy birthday to you.

Geet blushed, it was for the first time he had touched her so intimately, he looked at her, imagine a Mahi moment, let me help you the office one where Geet was in green and Maan in pink, he slowly steadied her and both stood straight, he looked around to see everyone including his father clapping and singing. He was surprised first to see her and then to see his family and above all to see his father rejoicing.
