Maan nad geet were in cloud nine finally they were to be together ………………….. geet was glad that maan's family is ready to accept Sid ……………………….. after spending the weekend in armaan's place they are to fly to Delhi to meet maan's family ……………..
Everyone were happy ……………………
" don't you think its necessary to talk to maan " ridhimma said to armaan when they were alone in the garden
" it is but I don't know how to tell and what to tell when I myself am in puzzle " said armaan
" its not that knowing the truth is gonna change anything for maan " ridz said
"true but still where to start ? " armaan said rubbing his temple
" as a doctor I can do it easily but since it is concerned with geet I want u to deal with this " ridz said
" I can understand ……………ummm I ll talk to him tmr u should take geet with u when u r going to the hospital " said armaan finally
Next morning geet was getting ready to go with ridz
" why are u taking sid with u ? I ll handle him " said maan
" no I was thinking that I should give him a shot as well for immunity " said geet
" will he be fine ? I mean isn't he afraid of injection? " asked maan
" he is a wonder boy u know ……………. He is never scared …………… I was thinking that he should be a doctor when he grow he is brave enough to face the smell of hospital ……………… ewww I hate even the smell " said geet making a face
" no ways my son will be a architect like me …………… noways he is going to be a doc………….. doctors are boring " maan said
" I m listening " …………. They heard a voice and turned to find armaan there
" I was about to complete my sentence saying not all doc are bad " maan added with a smile
" doctor profession needs brain unlike u who keep making sketches and spend whole life with pencil and eraser " said armaan
" that was offensive " said maan
" I was giving u the taste of ur own medicine " armaan snapped
" oh stop it u both at the end of the day what that matters is that u both make a hell a lot of money " said geet
" whatever ………… now ridz is waiting for u downstairs plzzz rush " armaan said
Geet picked her bag immediately and ran after saying bye to maan and armaan
" ummm ………. Maan I want to talk to u " said armaan
" is it a lecture about ur profession " maan asked jokingly
" not really " armaan said " anyways do u mind walking to the garden
" we ll go " maan said
They both sat in the garden …………………… maan knew that when armaan wants to talk it defo will be about geet ………………… on the other side armaan was wondering where to start
" I know it is about geet……" maan said breaking the silence
" yeah………….. I was wondering how to start " armaan said
" is it something about Karan? " maan suggested
" u know Karan ? " armaan asked
" yeah Rohan told me the other day ……………… I know he was married to geet and later died in a bomb blast ... " maan said
" that has only 1% of truth " armaan said
" sorry " maan said not understanding his words
" the only truth in that is that Karan died in a bomb blast " armaan said

" yes karan is neither geet's husband nor sid's father " armaan said his eyes fixed to the gound

" listen maan its quiet complicated ……………… I can explain this but be patient while listening and don't judge before I complete " armaan said strongly
" go ahead ……………. If its about geet and sid I have all the rights to know that " maan said
Armaan closed his eyes as if trying to gather words and then took a deep breath before he started
" u know that all the while in college geet was interested in you ………………….. she never told anything about u to me but still her feelings was obvious ……………….. but then u left abroad and circumstances turned in a way that I had to plan a fake engagement with geet " armaan said
" I know …………. Ur granny was ill geet told me ……………….. if it was not because of thet I would have confessed to her long before " maan said
" good then that u know ……………………..We didn't have to continue the engagement thing after ur college was over coz my granny passed away……………….. geet was really upset not alone for granny's loss but she thought she can never meet u ……………………… It was 6 months after the college she was losing interest in everything and we were sure that she was missing u in her life …………………… though karan suggested that I should find u and explain everything I was reluctant …………………… I thought u weren't trustworthy frankly speaking I thought u weren't serious and she was the one who was building dream castles with you …………………….. I somehow managed to make her join an animation course in Banglore ……………………..she stayed there with her frd …………it was the time actually Karan died in bomb blast…………. After three months she came back ………………… she was perfectly fine after taking a break from everything ……………………… but unfortunately her health was declining ………………… she had frequent head ache and vomiting ………………… I was really concerned as geet was never like that …………………. I suggested her to take some tests and……………………. And as the result came I found out that ………………. That she was pregnant …………………." Armaan said and looked at maan
Maan was more than confused …………………everything was too much for him to understand and react ………………. Seeing maan's blank face armaan decided to continue………….
" I first thought that she might know about all this but I was shocked to see her expression when I told her about this ………………….. she ran out of my cabin like a maniac ……………….. when I followed her to the parking I found her fainted …………………… I took her to hospital and made sure she was treated properly ………………… we kept her in observation for 10 hours but still she didn't gain conscious ………………..she remained unconscious for almost three days…………………. And when she became normal she had selective amnesia ……………………….Due to high stress she forgot the last three months precisely the time when she was in banglore and probably the time when she got pregnant…………….we tried to abort the child but it was too late then and geet's health condition wasn't favoring that ……………………….. I managed to bring Ridz who was in Melbourne then ………………… she was one of the best psychiatrist ……………………. She examined geet and suggested that we never should tell he anything that would stress her much as it might lead to coma…………………… we cooked up our own story as geet didn't remember about karan's death …………………… we made her believe that she was married to karan and the baby was his ……………………… we told her that he died in a bomb blast and hearing the news she became unconscious and lost her memory …………………………. It was easy to convince geet as she believed whatever I said ………...Geet's family was understanding …………………. Brij took complete care of her………………. After Rano mom's death ……………… geet shifted to Chennai ... though she lives away from me i keep complete track of her life ... "
"ridhimma regularly checks geet for every three months unknowing to her though ... now she is alright but we never mention to her about anything if she tries to remember the past it will lead to extream strss and consceques will e worse... i never tried to find out who was the man who done all this to her ... geet may or may not be aware of him in past... but bringing him again to her life and making her fce her past will be a bad thing for her health... so we convinced ourselves saying allz well that ends well." Armaan finished
Armaan didn't want to look at maan's face coz he couldn't manage to get any negative expression ………………..
Maan on the other hand was shocked to hear the true story ………………….. how could so many things happen in his geet's life in his absence …………………… how much she would have suffered ……………………… What could have happened? Who could be the bas***d who ruined her life? …………….. Many qus ran in his mind …………………………..geet had to go through many hurdles and he was unaware of all this ………………………….. She lost the memory of three months of her life how tragic that could be …………………………… he couldn't imagine
