Well I am back with a new OS on Maaneet. I had been missing them terribly. So I thought of sharing this OS with you all which I had written for the OS contest. But I doubt that everyone read it hence posting it again!😳
This comes after the Nayantara-Geet confrontation in the party and the famous MSK applying Blood in Geet's maang.😍😍

Maaneet OS- Dil Hai Tumhara!
She still sat dumbfounded at what had happened. What had transpired between them? A few moments ago she was an unwed expectant mother who was fighting for her baby's life and now she was Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana. In all sense Maan had made her his! Maan ki Geet!
She remembered what happened at Pindy Queen's party. Nayantara had accused her of her ouster from the Khurana Mansion. She also held Geet responsible for her husband; Dev leaving her. She held Geet and only Geet responsible for the turn of events in her life.
She sat in the corner of her bedroom in the Outhouse recollecting that one moment when she had truly became Maan ki Geet!
Nayantara had pushed Geet of the balcony of the party venue and let go of her hand; when her Knight in Shining Armor had come to her rescue as usual! It was like a Tradition that when Geet was in trouble Maan would be there; by any means; by hook or by crook to save his Love; his Life! And today was no different! He was the only one who would hear her cries in the crowd; however distant they may be; either emotionally or physically; Maan would be always there with her. Maan would always be there to be her pillar of strength; to be her support and her Mentor. Maan would be always there!
When he had pulled her back in the familiar set of arms Geet felt her heart beating again and herself breathing again. Her intuition knew he would be there; her heart knew it all!
He literally took her in a rib crushing hug; hoping that nothing happened to her.
Maan: "Agar tumhe kuch ho jata to main aapne aap ko kabhi maaf nahi kar pata."
All she saw in his eyes was the fear of loosing her and plain hatred for Nayantara who dared to push her.
And Nayantara wasn't done yet; she again alleged that Geet was wrong. She was a blot on the society when Geet had dared to roar back when Maan wanted to talk. Geet continued;
Geet: "Ab tum is had tak gir gayi ki tum mere bache ko maarne ki koshish kar rahi thi."
And then Nayantara had questioned her dignity; her self respect; her character.
Nayantara: "Jo ladki mujhpe ilzaam laga rahi hai; kya uski shaadi huyi hai? Is bacche ko kiska naam dogi? Bolo Geet. Hai koi jawab?"
Maan: "Bas Nayantara...Geet kal tak akeli thi par ab nahi."
And Maan at that instant had broken a glass; with blood oozing from his hand; pulled Geet towards him and smeared blood in her partition claming her as his forever!
Maan: "Aajse Geet ke naam ke saath Maan Singh Khurana ka naam jud gaya hai. Aayinda se Geet ko kuch bhi bolne se pehle ek baar soch lo ki tum kisse baat kar rahi ho"
Recollecting the turn of events; she felt blessed; truly blessed but was scared of a relation with him. She was scared of a future with him. She was scared if anyone would hurt his Pride and Ego because of her. But then she remembered that here she was talking about Maan Singh Khurana and for her He would do Anything. Anything!
She couldn't let him take any decision that would hurt everyone. She needed to leave him and go; she had to leave Maan for their as well as his happiness sake. She was in tears now. The very thought of leaving Maan and to go away from him was killing her. Her heart was bleeding and her soul cried. But then she heard a knock on the door. She heard the door crack and there in front of her was Maan. Maan saw Geet there, he felt relived that she hadn't gone anywhere. He constantly feared that she would any day run away from his life before he could even stop her. His face showed a sense of calmness; relief and the love for her shining from his face.
Seeing her so exhausted he lifted her and placed her gently on the bed. He was about to leave when she held his hand; she had to confront him now.
Geet: "Aapne aisa kyun kiya Maan sir?"
He looked down at her with all love he stores for her in the world and spoke;
Maan: "Maine ye sab tumhare liye kiya. Kyunki main tumse pyaar karta hoon. Aur koi tumse badnaami kare ya tumhare gairat par sawaal uthaye ye main bardaasht nahi karoonga."
Insecurities and questions running in her mind she questioned him again;
Geet: "Lekin sab ke saamne aapne itna bada kadam kyun uthaya? Kyun apnaya mujhe? Ek baar to aapne baare main socha hota?"
He held her hand and gently kissed it. He held her chin and made her eyes meet his. He continued;
Maan: "Kya tum itna hi samajh payi Maan Singh Khurana ko?"
Geet: "Jee?"
Bewildered looks on her face; leave it to Maan Singh Khurana to infuriate her and pacify her in a matter of seconds.
Maan: "Maine isliye tumhaari maang bhari; tumhe apnaya kyunki main tumhaare saath apni zindagi bitana chahta hoon. Kyunki main tumse pyaar karta hoon. I love you Geet!"
She could see the genuineness in his eyes and the words he spoke. But her tears overtook and she asked him again. She squeezed his hand and questioned;
Geet: "Aap hamesha mera saath denge na?"
Maan: "Haan Geet main marte dam tak tumhara saath doonga."
A lone tear left her eye and traced its path down her cheek. He kissed the tear and enveloped her in a hug. He released her from the hug and then was just staring at her beauty; her simplicity and her charm. He continued;
Maan: "Geet maine tumhe apnaya hain. Tumhare saath aanewaali har ek pareshaani ko; har ek mushkil ko; har ek zimmedari ko; har ek sukh ko aur har ek dukh ko apnaya hai. Maine tumhe apnaya hai aur humara baccha tumhara hissa hai Geet. Isliye aajse ye baccha humari zimmedari hai Geet."
He gently took her hand in his and carefully removed the Kadas and placed a soft kiss. She just stood there. He then took over the necklace and once again he laid butterfly kisses along her nape and her bare neck! She had started to melt in his arms and he knew that! He just had to go near her to have her weak in her knees. She was responding to his touch. And that was just what he needed and he continued her assault on her. He then removed her Maang Teeka and left his marks on her. He had marked her as his! Only his! Only Maan! She was truly Maan ki Geet! And soon both fell asleep in each others arms.
It was morning and the sunrays woke Geet up. She got up; got freshened up and came back to see Maan standing right in front of her.
Another insecurity rising she caressed his cheek and asked him;
Geet: "Kya aap mera zindagi bhar saath denge?"
Kissing her forehead he replied;
Maan: "Tumhara Maan to bana hai sirf Geet ke saath khade hone ke liye."
It had been Maan who took her into his arms first. A moment later, he felt her hug him back and stayed enveloped in his arms listening to their hearts breathing in rhythm with each other.
"I love You" She said as she rose herself from his chest and whispered in ears. She stepped back and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek!
