what was the specialty in GHSP

what was the specialty in GHSP …

that attracted millions of viewers all over the world of all age groups to just wait till 9 :30 P.M. & if by chance thy missed the 9:30 slot … they used to wait ardently for the repeat & were watching all repeats of GHSP & were not watching any other show apart from GHSP …

&

after GHSP went off air … every maaneet / GHSP fan's heart was filled with void or vacuum …which could never be filled back with any thing … every one is missing GHSP so much that … even now many are watching old episodes of GHSP …

Now … why was GHSP so special to us ….

1) its not that GHSP was the first TV show we all saw …. We saw 10000's of shows … before GHSP happened in our life ….

but no show touched our heart like how GHSP did … no pair touched our soul the way maaneet did … they laugh … we laugh along with them … thy cry … we cry along with them … they romance … we all go into dream land … weaving beautiful dreams about them ….

In simple words we can say …

they came … they saw & they conquered … this proverb holds gud 4 maaneet / GHSP ….

2)GHSP had this uniqueness … a novelty In its approach … when ever dealing with any issue … never seen before in indian telly before …. So much that GHSP got the name of a trend setter … the original master piece … even if want 2 create one more difficult to duplicate …

What was the uniqueness … novelty ….

a)taviz & duppatta connection …. Saw plenty of duppatta scenes or pallu scenes … but maan & duppatta & taviz connection was the best & most fav connection I loved in GHSP … the first thing that actually made me fell in love with GHSP apart from concept & leads … was taviz & duppatta connection … how these 2 always had a strong influence on maaneet & how taviz & duppatta always helped maaneet 2 come close to each other .. their symbolism … that maaneet are made for each other & no one can come between them …

b)tai chi … a sport but added passion to all the scenes what ever were shown … between maan & geet … specially kehna hi kya …

c) maan & geet always used 2 meet as a strangers … but unknowingly aaan always used to build confidence in geet … this was another aspect of the show or rather mysterious maan's character … which made me get attracted to the show to maan … maan hated woman but at the same time he never denied help 2 geet …. Geet too always gave maan a kharara jawab when ever he misunderstood her or ridiculed her misery ….. but she always used to listen to his advice & follow it …

d)all song sequences … behne de … which depicted maan's feelings on how he was getting drawn 2wards geet … or be it teri diwani … where geet realises her love for maan our fav darga scene … or the jhumka scene after kehna hi kya scene … where she realises that maan also started building feelings for her …

actually all song sequences … after watching maaneet in all these song sequences … all I can say is I forgot the original songs … & when ever I watch or hear 2 any song on radio or TV which was picturised on maaneet … all I can remember is maaneet & only maaneet …

perfect song choice for every situation …

e)a perfect confession … or say the best confession … we all loved and consider it as a divine moment …

f)Maan geet never required a third person… 2 solve their problems …

even when they had MU coz of a communication gap … they cleared it on their own …their MU never lasted long …

for this MU … we got the best maafi nama we could ever see in indian telly … a unique way 2 say sorry … loved it totally …

g)maan getting too possessive abt some one i.e. a tailor touching his geet …

what a passionate tere mast mast nain where he was taking her measurements … made every1 hyperventilate after the episode …done aesthetically …

h)by the way … we got many new terms or names like maan ki geet .. or shona … or meeshti …

i)sonography part … where after seeing the baby … geet saying ILU … & maan having tears after seeing the baby …

Then maan telling geet he will say I L U…when it snows in delhi& just 2 say ILU … he arranges for a fake snow fall …

j) all the wedding rasams ... every thing … geet unable 2 reach her shadi ka mandap or maan going on horse back …

k) many more scenes which touched our heart …like maan taking permission to put bindi on her forehead or taking permission for having kids …

3)what ever & how ever may b the situation … we could see the unbreakable trust that maan & geet have for each other … how they both were each other's pillar of strength …. They both could read each other's mind & could feel each other's presence …

Even though it was not love at first sight or attraction at first sight … maaneet had those feelings for each other since day one … but never understood that these 2 were soul mates who were meeting at every crucial point in their lives… how their journey continued is what made us get hooked to the show …

GHSP was really special 4 us … it was unique … it was a trendsetter in every way … it had bundle of novelties in it … The concept … story line … the treatment that was given … the initial cv's … the actual credit goes 2 the first cv's of GHSP … whose creativity took us & GHSP 2 a new dimension & then how can we forget …our favourites i.,e.

above all 2 great actors … gurti … who enacted each & every expression with ease & comfort … emoted every emotion so perfectly … that … we never felt we were watching a TV show or something fake … everything looked so real & natural …

no one can ever take their place in my heart & I know plenty over here are in same position as me …

To recreate something similar 2 GHSP is not an easy job … its quite difficult…

so I can say … no one can take gurti's place in our heart … wanted 2 write more …but concluding over here … as how much ever we write … we all still feel we are falling short of words …
