The whole KC was gossiping about the current topic of their MD and a new trainee's sensational love story and out of the world engagement ceremony. None of them had ever imagined that the sweet and bubbly down to earth girl would be the daughter of such big business tycoon. It added to their respect and affection for her while few, specially the female staff, were jealous of the fact that their hot and happening boss was already hooked...!!

But in all most of the staff was excited as well as happy. They never imagined that their strict and hot headed boss would fall for a such a sweet and naughty angel. But as they say opposite attracts...and their case fits in it very aptly...!!

Soon maan's car arrived and everyone ran to their respective places as they knew however romantic their boss be to his lady love, but if once he turned into his dangerous devil mode as often stated by geet ( yup...even in office she has spread her excillent skills of naming maan ), there will be no mercy for them...!!

Alisha was watching how maan for a brief second stopped near geet's cabin glass door and looked at her and how she blushed with his gaze. Her anger shot up to great height as she witnessed the short lovey-dovey scene between them and thought...enjoy geet...enjoy as much as you want, but abhi sirf engagement hui hai...you are not yet married to maan and I'll make sure you'll never get married to him...!!

So, shall we start the presentation...??...maan asked taking his place in the conference room.

Adi nodded and signalled alisha to start with the presentation while sneha started taking notes and geet observed the designs inorder o learn more and give her inputs in the design when asked later on. The project was for the contruction of a seven star hotel in a posh area for the owner of a leading hotel chain named Ritz. Alisha gave a good presentation and after finishing returned to her chair. Next was adi's turn to explain the budget in details and complete the presentation.

When the presentation was finally completed, maan turned to his client Mr. Mehra, the owner of the hotel and asked...

So Mr. Mehra, what do you think...??

I must say Mr. Khurana you people have turned my dream into reality in the form of this design...I am very impressed...he replied with a smile and continued...the deal is on and I would like that the construction work should be started as soon as possible...!!

Of course...maan said and then turned to alisha...alisha, get the work started from tomorrow itself...!!

Right sir...she beamed and added looking at Mr. Mehra...your dream hotel will get ready very soon...sir...!!

Finally the meeting ended and most of the staff made their way out leaving maan, adi, Mr. Mehra, geet, sneha and alisha in the hall.

It was nice meeting you Mr. Khurana and I am really glad that I listened to my niece's advice...he glanced at alisha and smiled which left others confused, while alisha smirked thinking its her chance to win maan's heart.

Your niece...??...maan aked perplexed.

Oh yes Mr. Khurana, my niece...alisha...she only told me that KC is the right place where my dream project could be fulfilled. Though I have worked with your father before and I didn't really had any doubt about KC's capabities, but after I opened my hotel's main branch in London we just lost touch. And now, when I came here with this project alisha suggested me to contact you...!!

Maan nodded at him and then replied...I assure you Mr. Mehra, KC won't disappoint you...!!

Of course Mr. Khurana, now I am 100% sure and yes I wanted to inform you that this project will be handled by my son...!!

Then I guess your son should have been here. We would have discussed the details...maan replied not liking the fact that they would have to delay their work for someone.

Yes Mr. Khurana I certainly understand that, but he has arrived just few days back and had to meet some of his friends so...he paused for a second and then continued...but he will meet you tomorrow itself and then you can get on with the construction...!!

Fine...maan nodded curtly.

By the way Mr. khurana...Mr. mehra extended his hand and said...congratulations...!!...I heard you got engaged recently.

Maan gave a slight smile at the mention of his engagement and gave a look at geet, who herself was blushing, and replied...thank you very much...!!

Alisha was annoyed at their talks about engagement and to top it all maan didn't even acknowledge her recommendation once, but she couldn't do much. She easily forgot the fact that KC's never needed any recommendation. Soon Mr. mehra left and maan gave orders to others and left signalling geet to come to his cabin...!!

Hey vicky, we have just a week time in hand and I think we should increase our practice time...one of his band member said to vicky, who was tightening the string of his guitar.

Vicky though was present there physically, his mind was still lost in the previous night happenings.

Everything was perfect. The engagement, music launch, new year celebration...every single thing was perfect, then why was she not happy...??...he recalled how sneha cried bitterly in his arms as if seeking solace. He clearly remembered how terrible he felt when she broke down in his arms...her each drop of pearl burned his heart like acid.

But what shocked vicky more was the way he was reacting to all this...he was never a guy to get emotionlly connected with any girl except his doll, not even for his other female friends...then why was sneha an exception...??

He thought sneha to be another of his source of attraction, but a strong one, but here everything is so different and with such intensity that he couldn't properly make out his exact feeling. Sighing at the confusion of his feelings, he wrapped up his practice and decided to take a break...!!

Here sneha completed her work and it was lunch time. She had seen geet going to maan's cabin and thought to give them some privacy and settle down with her lunch in her own cubicle. But soon lunch was forgotten as she was lost in her own thoughts, but this time alongwith her pain there was another feeling that kept her preoccupied.

She couldn't help but recall the 31st night party at khurana mansion, which took place just a week ago. It brought so many changes in her life knowingly as well as unknowingly. First, she went to a party and that too a new party after that horrific incident in her life for the first time in these three years. Secondly, she got new friends in those elite people, whom she always prefered to keep a distance. Third, the glimpse of her past which she saw at the party and was still in dilema whether it was reality or her hallucination like she used to have before her councelling sessions and finally that man...vickrant...!!

She closed her eyes and tried to engulf herself in that protective feel she got when she was in his arms. She had never ever felt so calm and relax which she felt after crying her heart out in his arms and who was he...??...a mere stranger, whom she had hardly met two or three times...??...then why did her heart of all the people present there, trusted only him after she came face to face with her past...??...why did she felt she would remain safe there...??...what was that serene feeling she got in being in his arms despite of him being male...??

She still remembered clearly how light hearted she felt and then when she got hold of her emotions, she simply pushed him away and ran out without looking back. Though her heart was craving to be in his arms forever...!!

She kept thinking about the turn of events in her life oblivious of her surrounding...!!

Geet knocked at maan's cabin and entered after getting his permission...

Sir, you called me...??...she asked standing infront of his chair, while maan kept working in his laptop and gestured her to sit. She waited patiently for sometime thinking now she will get some quality time to spent with him, but here maan was totally engrossed in his work not even giving a glance at her.

Now it was the limit of her patience and she instantly started her cursing program under her breath...Devil monkey...look at his guts babaji...first he called me here and now he is acting as if I am invisible...!!...jab baat hi nahi karni thi toh bulaya hi kyun...ek toh we are sitting together alone like this for the first time after our engagement cause of our busy schedule and this devil, instead of spending some quality time with me is busy in his damn laptop...!!

Though her voice was very low, but maan's ears were sharp enough to catch every single word. He was silently enjoying her cribbings while his fingers worked at double speed to finish of his remaining work. As soon as he completed his work, maan finally lifted his gaze and glance at his princess, who was still lost in her cute complaining session to her babaji. Chukling inwardly, he silently got up from his seat and moved towards her like a leopard march towards his alluring prey with heavy steps. His eyes had an intense gaze which were powerful enough to burn anyone. But the one for whom he was holding so much passion was totally oblivious to his gaze...!!

She was busy making cute adorable faces not knowing what effect it was having on someone. Soon he was standing right behind her and bend down to her ear.

Babaji, what is this...??...it has hardly been a week of our engagement and he has lost interest in me...see, he deos not love me anymore...suddenly she let out a loud gasp as she felt maan's warm and moist breath on her ear and she knew he was there. Her eyes automatically got closed on their own accord, when he took her soft ear lobe in his mouth moistening it as if sucking his favourite candy...

So, you think I have lost my interst in you...huh geet...??...he huskily whispered in her ears making her shiver sensing his passionate voice and touch.

Wo...w...oh...I...she sttutered as her speech and brain denied to co-ordinate together under the sensuous effect of maan's love.

What geet...??...he asked again placing a kiss just below her ear on her sensitive spot, which send her to a totally another world.

Ma...an...she moaned as left wet kisses on her nape and shoulders.

You think I don't love you anymore, huh geet...??...he asked while he continued his assault on her sensitive skin.

She couldn't say anything except moaning his name in ecstacy...!!

How can I let you feel like that geet...let me show you how much I still possess for you in me heart...he said as he placed a soundable kiss on her cheek and continued to move down without breaking the contact of his lips with her skin. Tasting and savouring every inch of her milky butter soft skin. The aroma was already making maan crazy and now he was getting out of control...!!

You don't know how much I missed you in these seven days mishty...he sucked her throat pushing her duppatta down while she clutched his shoulders for support. His passion was something she could never handle, yet she was the only one capable of arousing that much passion in him. Soon, geet was totally lost in his love and started responding to his touch which only provoked maan all the more and his lipsfound hers in a strong and passionate lip lock...!!

He had already locked the door and blinds with remote after she entered and now with no one hindering themm, he wanted to devour her like a hungry beast. He instantly picked her up in his arms and walked towards his private room without breaking from the kiss. He softly placed her on the bed and continued to taste her. His hands pulled open her dori behind and slided her dress barng her shoulder for his lips for better access. They were so lost in each other that every other thing was long forgotten. Geet had unknowingly opened his shirts button baring his amazingly toned chest for her hands to explore.

They were high on passion and as maan lifted his hand to pull her dress more down, he accidently hit a vase on the bedside table bringling him back to senses. He immediately pulled apart and closed his eyes to control himself. He shifted his galce at geet and saw fullyflushed face...still lost in their world of passion. Pulling up the comforter, he covered her till her shoulder which brought her back.

Geet realized her condition and immediately corrected her dress and tied her knot. She felt her whole body burn with the heat of passion flowing in her viens. Maan on the other hand was feeling no different. Only he knew how he was controlling himself as he wanted to make their first time special.

When finally both had a grip on their heart beats and passion, maan initiated to break the silence knowing his mishty was too shy to do that...

Uh geet, lets go tothe cabin and have lunch before the time gets over...!!

Geet simply nodded shyly, while maan felt like eating her instead of lunch. As geet started moving towards the connecting door, he pulled her to him and locked her in his arms...

Mishty, I am going to talk to mom today to set a date for our wedding...he kissed her cheeks as she gave one of her most beautiful and dazzling smile to him.

I don't want to stay away from you maan...she said placing her head on his chest. Maan stroked her hair lovingly and replied...even I don't want that mishty, but we have to wait till marraige na...and suddenly getting naughty he added...though I don't have a problem if you want to...he winked at her only to get a smack on his arm...

Maan, you have become shameless...she blushed profusely at his teasings.

Oh mishty, you haven't seen my shameless self yet, just wait till our SR and I'll show you the realshameless and hungry beast within me...though he was teasing her, but there was an intense fire in his eyes which was showing the truth behind his words and geet shuddered with the thought of imagining their SR.

Maan please...she hugged tight not able to stand his gaze while maan simply reciprocated kissing her head.

They soon had their lunch feeding each other, while maan stealing one or two kisses in between. Geet left his cabin and maan returned his concentration on his work...!!

Meera jerked back to her present on the call of her senior...

Ye...yes ma'am...she replied concentrating on the person in front of her.

Where are you lost doctor...??

I am sorry ma'am...!!

Sorry...??...how can you be so irresponsible...??...do you even know what you are doing...??...she chided her.

Meera shifted her attention on the chemical she was using in path lab and instantly realized her blunder...

Oh god...I am so sorry ma'am, I don't know where I...I am...she fumbled not knowing how to explain her situation. The senior doctor realized her state of mind and said calmly...

Dr. Meera, I think you are not well...she paused and continued...why don't you take the day off and take rest...??...you have been working constantly from the last week and that too double shift...its taking a toll on you...she advised and meera nodded understandingly. She handed over her work to the other intern and left the hospital.

She came back to HM and went to the hall where rano was instructing some servant for some work.

Arey meera, you are here so early...??...rano asked surpried.

Ji aunty, woh I was not feeling well...so had taken the rest of the day off...!!

Rano got worried at her reply and instantly asked...What happened beta...??...should I call a doctor...??

Meera smiled at motherly concern and replied politely...nahi aunty...I am just a bit tired. I'll be fine after taking a small nap...!!

Okay, you go to your room...I'll send something to eat there only...meera was about to protest on which rano spoke again...and no arguments regarding that. You have turned so pale in this week...she caress her face lovingly...kitna kaam karvate hain yeh hospital wale meri bachchi se...!!

Meera was touched at her affection and simply hugged inorder to control her tears. Her heart break was the reason behind her miserable condition and this motherly warmth was acting as a soothing balm on it. Meera composed herself somehow and separated...

Aunty I'll do whatever you say...and smiled genuinely.

Thats like my good girl...rano patted her cheeks...I'll send your food in the room...now go and take rest, okay...??

Meera noded and left for her room, the solitude of the room gave her ample space to time to cry over her terrible fate...!!

She tried a lot after the party toforget dev and her love, but it was just not in her hands. From that night she took up as much cases as possible requesting her seniors, so that she could indulge herself in her work and distract her mind...!!

But everything turn futile as even though her mind was diverted, her heart missed her first love every second. She didn't even shared her pain with anyone not even geet and now all this was just engulfing her into a deep pool of sorrow...!!

What are you saying dev...??...we met her on the party night and she appeared perfectly fine to me...jiya replied remembering her brief meeting with meera...She might just be busy or having work load...I think you are just over exerting your brain...!!

Nahi jiya...you don't know meera...dev retorted immediately seeing her being casual about meera's topic when he knew its not...I know meera thoroughly and I know there is something bothering her...he paused and then continued...you know, when we were in school and she used to get in any problem regarding her studies, she never got tensed. Infact she was among those students, who would enjoy tackling difficult problems and situation, but now...she seems so lost and upset...he rubbed his temple and added...I don't know what to do...!!

Jiya saw his concern for meera and felt as if there was something more to there relation and dev's feelings, but then she shrugged off and thought to help him...

Uh, dev...don't be sad dear...she heldhis hand in her and continued...I know she is a very important friend for you and you are worried for her,but taking tension like this won't help the situation. I think you should talk to meera, if you have any doubt and ifthere is any problems of any sort then help her out...!!

But I hardly get to see meera these days...how will I...

Uff dev, if she is busy then you can go to her place na...she tried to infuse some brain in him...and moreover a true friend can always find a way to help his friend, isn't it...??...she raised her brows with a smile.

Dev finaly smiled hearing her and nodded happily and hugged her...oh jiya thank you so much...you are awesome...!!

I know...she replied raising her invisible collar.

Geet blushed hearing sneha's comment to which she couldn't help but smile...oh geet, I am so happy for you...!!

Achcha, leave all this...I came here to take the gurgaon project file actually maan ask...I mean maan sir asked me to work on it...she corrected looking here and there inorder to avoid any eye contact after her blunder.

Oh ho...maan haan...wow geet...sneha teased while geet showed her fake angry glare hiding her blush...you really love him a lot, don't you...??

Geet nodded smilingly while sneha felt happyfor her friend. But alisha who was watching them and listening to their conversation burned with jealousy and thought...Just wait geet, this love of your won't be there in your life anymore and very soon maan will be mine...maan is mine and I'll never let you have him.

She took out her cell and dailed a number...hello...!!

finally completed...gosh I thought I won't be able to update😆...seriously when I sat down to write I felt I was totally blank so I had great difficulty in typing this part. I deleted and re-write many times n I am still not convinced whether it has turned out to be readable or not😕...plz pardon if you find it boring, but I am still trying to connect myself with my ffs again. I hope from next part it will be more intresting.

I gave you all an insight of the thoughts of all the characters after the party so that the story could be taken forward. Hope u'll like it😳
