Shashi-Sumeet Mittal, makers of the hit show on Star Plus, Diya Aur Baati Hum, are all set to bring in their new show for Zee TV. The show which is titled as Punar Vivaah will haveGurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar playing the main leads.

After portraying the powerful and bold character of Laxmi in Zee TV's popular show Ek Veer Stree ki Kahaani Jhansi Ki Rani, Kratika Sengarwill be seen in a diametrically opposite role in the upcoming show. Gurmeet Choudhary, popularly known as Maan Singh Khurana ofStar One's Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, will be opposite Kratika as the male lead.

A source says, "Punar Vivaah is a love story with a difference. It narrates the story of a couple who is forced to stay together under tough circumstances and how their emotions and feelings bring them together."

When contacted, Kratika Sengar confirmed, "Yes, I am a part of the show and I am really glad that it has happened to me. After Jhansi, I always wanted to come back to television with a romantic show.

Gurmeet Choudhary remained unavailable for comment.

We hear that the actors have already shot for the promo and the show will hit television screens,early February.

Seems like the fans of Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar have got their reason to celebrate.
