Maan went inside only to find his Geet sleeping so pale and surrounded by various machines and drips . he sat beside her and kissed her forhead . tears seemed to flow like a stream but he was least cared to hide it . he kept her hands in his and sat there for some time before leaving the room .

It was almost 10 at night and none noticed the time with the days events . maan saw dadi and annie's tired face and asked them to go home and take rest . when dadi was about to say no , maan promised that she could come the next day morning and he would stay at night . finding no other go dadi agreed leaving maan to take care of his wife . after dadi left , he quietly went and put a chair beside geet's bed and kept her hands in his . he did not know when he fell asleep holding her hands . he was way too lost in his thoughts '.

Maan woke up with a jerk when he heard dadi calling him . he slowly opened his eyes and looked at geet who was still under the effect of the sedatives and then dadima .

Maan : dadima aap kab aaye ??

Dadi : just now beta . its 7 now . you go and freshen up . I have brought you the cloths too ... I had sent Vicky with adi . so don't worry about office for some days .

Maan just noded and took the clothes and left to the washroom . When he came out , dadima told him that there was a slight movement in geet . he immediately went and called the doctor incharge who inturn came asked them to stay out for sometime .

After some minutes , dr informed them that geet had gained concisous and could be discharged later that day . dadi and annie were the first one to enter the room . maan who was discussing something with the doctor entered two mins later and found them in a emotional hug . geet was assuring them in a meek voice that she was fine and asked them not to worry .

When dadi noticed him , he asked him to come and signaled annie to leave outside .

Annie : bhai , you be with bhabhi . I ll check on to the discharge procedures .

Dadi : haan Maan . I will also go with annie .

Both of them left leaving the couples their needed privacy .

After seconds , maan broke the silence .

Maan : geet tum teek tho hai na ???

Geet smiled and noded her head .

He could not speak any more . he just hugged her . for the first time in his life he was afraid to loose a person other than his family .. It was the first time he actually cared other than his parents , dadi and annie . yes , he admitted to himself that he cared for geet . is it a simple care???? He was totally confused with this new feeling . why cant he just ignore and move with his office works ???? well how could he , if his life and soul is with this person who can change his total life all together ????

He slowly came out of the hug and looked at her . his eyes were full of confusions and emotions even she could not understand it . she knew he was concerned about her . she just kept her hand over his and smiled. a smile that could give him the feel that she is all fine .

Annie came in and announced that geet could be discharged then and the papers were ready .

Annie : bhai , they need your signature in come papers . why don't you get them signed while I help bhabhi in getting ready ???

Maan : hmmm ..

After some time , maan gave the papers to nurse and annie informed him that they would waiting in car and asked him to join soon ..within few seconds maan was also present and they made their towards the home .

Dadi made geet enter the house only after taking aarti . maan supported her by shoulder helping her in climbing the stairs and settled in the room confortably . dadi soon entered the room with juice and fruits in a bowl and helped geet in having it . maan excused himself from the room stating that he wants to make an important call .

Dadi gently patter her cheeks and said : take rest beta . you must be very tired .

Geet : nahi dadi . I don't feel like sleeping .

Dadi affectionately : per beta , your health is not good . rest is must now . you know how we were worried for you seeing in that state ??? the most affected is maan . I saw him cry for the first time after his parents health . am so happy that he cares for you to the extent that he is not even bothered to hide himself infront of others . you know , he was beside you all through the day and night without any food . he was totally lost and in another world without responding to anyone .. the last time I saw him like that was during his parents death . Maan is slowly coming back to his old self . caring and letting his feelings out '. All I want my family is to be healthy and happy geet .

By the time dadi finished , geet had tears in her eyes . she knew he cared for her . but to the extent without food and lost somewhere ??? she just could not help but to thank babaji for making her to fall in an accident so that maan could get back to his old loving and caring self !!!! could the life be even more happier ???????

Yippie me first...awesome update dear...loved how maan changing just for geet...this accident did bring them close...geet will become accidentally maan's 😉
