KI - GHSP re watch - Episode 30 & 31

Zindagi nahin humein doston se pyaari,
Doston pe haazir hai jaan hamaari,
Aankhon mein hamaari aansoon hai toh kya,
Jaan se bhi pyaari hai muskaan tumhaari !

Girls, i included Episode 30 (even though 'The Frogs' decided to skip it) because, to me these two epis are intertwined
if you want to skip that epi... feel free to... but if you want to give the analysis, you know your always more than welcome...

am writing my analysis now, cox i may not be able to come online tonight or tomorrow...

Episode 30 (14th May 2010): The epi starts with Geet looking out the window & trying desperately to find a way to alert the police... to untie the rope that is binding her hands & the cloth tied around her mouth...
the police ask darji to ask Geet to come out... Brij comes & says, how can we call Geet when shes not in the house... Maan asks the police to search the house... cox Maan knows that the family wouldnt allow their daughter to be outside the house at such a late hour... when the police hesitate to search the house... Maan himself tries to, but is stopped by everyone in the family... & Darji asks the police if his words arent enough to convince the police anymore... & the police officer says that they do trust Darji's words but what happened (regarding property) is something that shouldnt have... & it would be better if by the next morning, they have Geet's signature on the property papers...

so enjoy the looks between Brij & Maan... both their eyes filled with anger & hatred...

Maan & the police leave the house...

Geet is still searching for something to cut the rope with, when she sees a piece of glass stuck in the wall... she takes it out & cuts through the rope (how she managed without cutting her hand... i dont know ) she hurries over to the window only to see that the police are already about to leave... in order to get their attention she takes off her dupatta & throws it out of the window... & (like a good reliable friend) it lands on her soul mate... Maan...
when Geet sees her dupatta land on Maan, she wonders where he came from... (still havent realised that when ever she is in trouble, her Maan would be there to save her)...
When the dupatta lands on Maan, he looks up & sees Geet near the window...
Geet hides when Maan looks up & when she looks out again, theres no one outside... she thinks that he has left without helping her...

Brij is trying to convince the family that they should remarry Geet... to some one else...

Maan climbs through a window & is searching for the room where Geet is locked up... while Geet is wondering what she can do, now that the police are gone, & she lost her chance... Maan hears her muttering to herself... goes & opens the door...looks away from Geet as she is without her dupatta & throws her dupatta to her (he always does that... her modesty... her Maan & maryada means a lot to him & that he would always protect them from ill wishers)...

fight between Geet's father & brij... Darji agrees with brij (most hated characters so far... of course only after Devil & NT)

Maan & Geets confrontation... Maan saying that all women are cheaters... Geet saying that she doesnt know about women but all men are frauds... Maan asks Geet to show her charm to someone else, cox its not going to work on him (poor Maan, if only he knew how well it was going to work on him ) Maan goes on to say that he would give up on the property as he has paid full amount to the agent... which gets Geet's attention...
Geet says that shes ready to sign the papers but only on the condition that Maan give the name & address of the person who sold the property to him...
Maan says that she would sign the papers without any conditions & drags her out of the room... of course there is a chair like thingy... Geet trips over & Maan catches her... & a cutesie eye lock
& the reminder of the first time they met when he pulled her out of the river... their first eye lock
Maan drags Geet all the way down to her family...
another Maan/Brij angry look competition... (Maan wins according to me... he wins all the time )
Maan takes a line out of Don movie... & says 'Maan Singh Khurana koh dhokha dena namumkin hai' ... Maan mocks Darji saying what would happen to Darji's words, based on which the inspector believed that Geet wasnt home, if he calls him back now... & calls the whole family liars...
Maan asks Geet to sign the papers or else he would call the police...she refuses & says to call them... there in comes Geet's father & says that they would give him the property... so Maan tells them to ask Geet to sign the papers without any conditions... Geet again refuses...
Brij says he knows how to 'make' Geet do things... meaning he would scare her into doing everything... & that by the next morning Maan would have the signed papers... Maan says that he cant believe anything Brij says anymore... to which Brij says that even he cant make the property disappear overnight & to wait for morning... so Maan agrees & says that if by the next morning the papers are nit signed Geet would be sent to jail... gives the papers to Geet's father & leaves...

Geet informs her family that she wouldnt sign the papers, as it is the only way she could find Dev(il) & that she would find him & punish him...

Next morning shows Brij in Maan's house... saying that he knows his family has made lots of mistakes & that someone has to right those wrongs... to which Maan says that they were still making mistakes... that the papers are still unsigned & that he wouldnt wait anymore...
Brij stops Maan & says that he can get Maan 5 more acres of land if only Maan is ready to accept his condition... which is to marry Geet... epi ends on Maan's surprised face...

makes me wonder how dense Darji is... not realising that their actions alone is tarnishing their reputation... & it has nothing to do with Geet... but everytime anything goes wrong the poor girl is punished...
Geet has started to show her strength... even back then, with Maan she was strong... i guess instincts told her that he would protect her no matter what happens...

Epi 31 (17th May 2010): epi starts with Geet coming down to call the police as she is not allowed to go out of the house... but before the call can be connected Darji comes & disconnects the line...

Brij is still trying to convince Maan to marry Geet... saying that they had always planned on giving the property to Geets husband... & says that Geet is beautiful, knows how to do house hold work, is educated... that its in Maan benefit to marry her... Maan asks what Geet thinks about the idea... & Brij says that shes a girl... & has no say in important decisions like marriage... Brij goes on to say that he was not in any hurry to hear Maan's answer... he can wait... to take the whole day to think about it & to let him know... & leaves... Maan says to himself that he would give the answer to Brij's question in his own house...

Darji emotionally blackmails Geet saying that before she calls the police think about what would happen to Rajji if people come to know what happened to Geet's marriage... that everyone always blames the girl & her family... & that there wont be any good offers for Rajji's hand in marriage... how dare Darji say that Geet's life is destroyed ...

Rajji goes to a phone booth & makes a call... & we see a flashback of her talking with Geet... saying that Geet cant give up that easily on Dev(il)... Geet says that she doesnt want anything to happen to her family's reputation because of her, thereby stopping a good rishtha for Rajji... but that she wouldnt stop looking for Dev(il) on her own... & that she would punish him... Rajji asks how it could be done if she signs the papers... because without the papers there would be no way of tracing Dev(il)'s whereabouts... Geet says there is one way & that she would need Rajji's help... Geet give Rajji Dev(il)'s canada number... & asks her to call the number & find the address... Rajji makes the call, but the number was disconnected... before she can call again, she sees Brij, gets scared & hides... when Brij walks away she sees a man inside the room she was hiding in... a man holding a knife & a photo of Geet's friend Channi... Rajji realises he must be the guy who Channi was involved with... the guy says that he is Channi's husband...

Brij comes home to see people gathered around the house... he goes inside & sees Maan...
when Maan sees Brij... he says here comes the 'Izzadar Handa' families 'Izzadar beta' in such a mocking way...( really enjoyed the way the line was delievered)... who was willing to sell his sister for one zameen... everyone is shocked...
confrontation between Maan & Darji... Maan says that Brij himself came to his house with Darji's request... & asks Brij if he can deny anything that he is saying...
Maan calls Geet & asks her to come infront of everyone & to say if they are offering the right price for her...
Brij gets mad & Maan/Brij start a fight... Geet stops them...
Geet says that she wont stand quiet anymore & listen to him bad mouthing her family... & that they havent said anything so far goes they are 'izzadar'... to which Maan says that the people gathered around would decide if they are izzadar or not... & asks the people if a family who sells their daughters can be called izzadar... Geet gets really mad, goes to the officers & takes the papers, signs them... & goes to Maan & throws the papers in his face...& asks him to leave now that he has got his precious papers...

Maan leaves followed by the people gathered around... Geet goes to Darji & says lets go inside... the last people to leave turn around & says to Darji... that it takes a life time to build a reputation but a single mistake to lose it... & they too leave...

Darji is reminded of all the times he was humiliated/mistakes
- When Maan brought her home, when she fainted while she was with him
- Brij saying to Geet's father that he should get her married if they want their reputation
- Maan saying that Geet would one day bring trouble to the whole family...
- Brij saying that police came to the door because of Geet
- Maan saying to Brij that for one piece of land they were willing to sell his sister...
- Brij saying that they should get Geet married for a second time really soon...

epi ends of Darji's face...


me thinks this was when Darji started to realise his mistakes... but he was a proud, egoistic man... who wasnt ready to accept that he was wrong...
