He could sense her anger..all he wanted was to punish himself. How arrogant & out of control was he really? Did he truly think he could force himself on her??
Broken he turned from her.
Ashamed of himself, he couldn't bear to show his face to her. He could feel her gaze upon his back, & he dreaded her look of disgust
