Geet did not know what to do. She sighed and sat down. She looked down at the baby who was sleeping soundly on the bed. She covered him with a blanket. "I wish I could give you the world's happiness, baby" she whispered. "But I have to do it, no matter what. I can't ruin someone's life for my own selfish motives...which is to feed you with a silver spoon".

"But I can't ruin his life...not at this cost" she said brushing off her tears.

"I simply can't" she choked her words and looked at her sleeping baby. He had not moved an inch, unaware of his mother crying. Geet sighed. She stroked the little baby's cheek. "You're so handsome, just like your father, aren't you" she giggled. She sighed again and mumbled "forgive me baby, but I know what's right and wrong...and here comes your dad". She sat on the bed, quickly grabbing a magazine and flipped it; pretending to read some interesting article.

Maan did not want to admit that he needed Geet and their child. He was too arrogant, he even admitted it. He was wrong all the time. He had left Geet when she needed him the most. But he knew Geet more than she knew herself. He was sure that Geet would come back, and she did. She came and told his grandmother how Maan used her for two-three months and now it was the time to assume his responsibility. Dadimaa was firmed on the decision and told Geet to stay here. That night Geet gave Maan
