Seems like this will be the last week of the serial. Feeling terribly sad as I am going on a holiday for 10 days and will miss not only the last phase of the GHSP but also this forum.
Wanted to thank to all wonderful people here, who just lighted my life with such wonderful writings, their sense of humour, sense of helping, sense of making others feel welcomed etc, . This forum was and is just so full of creative and wonderful people.
I am not much of a writer but just wished to note down a few words so here i am with how the characters, people and the Serial impacted me and hopefully others...
MSK :
He taught a VERY NEW DEFINITION OF LOVE and GIVING. Most of the time one finds that sacrificing one's life for a loved one is much easier than letting go of one's EGO. Mr. Maan Singh Khurana taught that in LOVE there is just no place for any EGO. I don't think any LOVE STORY anywhere has ever depicted this definition of love the way it was portrayed in this beautiful serial by Mr. MSK. I have seen many wonderful love stories, but nothing like the love story of Mr. Maan Singh Khurana. And of course, credit goes to GC who gave LIFE to this character. Without GC, I don't know if it would have had the same beauty and impact as it had on so many people.
Geet and DD :
Wow! What to say about DD and this character of Geet. What a tremendous job DD has done in portraying this character Geet.
Though the creative's ruined the character of Geet so mercilessly so many times, but kudos to DD for still carrying this character on her shoulder. Not only Geet but also DD must have taught many how to always find pleasure in simplest of things and enjoying life to the fullest. I am sure DD has become a tremendous inspiration to many people. DD's off screen down to earth personality and attitude, grace, sense of humor, humanity, capacity of enjoying life, maturity, wonderful power to make others open up and laugh etc are just spell binding. . (I wonder if she could make so many of her own gender fall in love with her so much, what she must be doing to guys out there 😊 )
Mr. Barry Dhillon :
I had remembered story writer, song writer's names in many movies, but i had hardly ever noticed and remembered any dialogue writer's name in any movie, leave aside in any serials. But Barry Dhillon... just one word describes him... WOW! What talent. He just pushed me to look up the name of the dialogue writer of GHSP Serial. What Wonderful dialogues... whether its humor ( recall... 2 kilo aaloo, 2 kilo pyaaz with dhaniya free dialogue in Honeymoon Hotel just few days back... 😆) , serious, inspiring. Each kind of dialogues had such tremendous beauty. Recalling Geet and Maan's poetic dialogues during their love confession in their jungle date still fills me with such a deep poetic feeling. Barry just made us believe in such a LOVE and realize the life is so much more beautiful. I bow down to him for his incredible talent in dialogue writing. Therefore, besides DD and GC's future projects (Hopefully together 😊), I would also look forward to Barry's future projects.
And of course, all the people who created such a masterpiece during initial 8-9 months. You created and showed us the beauty in characterization, defining the scenes, execution of the scenes, poetic display of emotions, photography, set designing, basically every department involved in its creation. Hats off to you. You created something very unique, never ever seen on TV or big screen. Hope you can again get together and create something of this magnitude.
At many moments in life, when one will be confused, fearful, disheartened, I am sure many will recall one or the other moments from this serial, its characters and some wonderful inspiring dialogues of Mr. Barry Dhillon.
