Ok I have always heard that translation is not easy but today I experienced it first hand! 😕

Here is my attempt. It sounds so much less completely awesome in English so I took some liberties but wherever I did change things I indicated the original Hindi dialogue in brackets.

This is just Geet's. I will do Maan's now.

There was a girl, completely innocent...like me!
You know, it was like she had only one thing to do (uska bas ek kam tha)... dream...of her prince. And one day she actually found her prince! That was it. They met and fate declared, we will unite these two (hum in dono ki jodi banaenge).
You know what? What didn't fate do to bring these two together? You don't know do you? I will tell you! At every second turn the girl would get stuck in some misfortune and her prince would come, scold her but then rescue her from the misfortune. You know? This chain of events went on for so long that the prince named her a walking, talking disaster (chalta phirta disaster - I changed the meaning for the rhyming effect). And then fate finally united them (made them a couple? Un dono ki jodi bana di). They made a home, dreams started to come true. Happiness started raining down on them like pearls (?). And just then, a storm came and everything...and everything...and...

Feel free to edit anything, I would personally take out most of the you know?s (patha hain?) because they work better in conversation than in writing.
