STAR One actors admires Geet-Maan Jodi
Fans have loved the onscreen chemistry between Geet and Maan in STAR One's Geet Hui Sabse Pariyi. The same sentiment is shared by the actors of Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani that is aired on the same channel. We caught up with the actors to ask them what they liked about Geet and Maan.
Actress Piya Dobriyal admits that the chemistry is what makes the couple. "They have small tiffs, but make up immediately. I think that Maan accepting her for what she is was wonderful. The show also has a mixture of youth and yet, a sense of seriousness about it," she says.
Piya's coworker Haseena Raichand shares the same sentiment about Geet and Maan's chemistry. "Drashti (Dhami) is the perfect Geet, and she and Maan have great onscreen chemistry. They have a unique and pure love story," she says.
Jeh Khurana, however, admits that he hasn't seen the show properly. "I know that it is a love story between Geet and Maan and they are a successful onscreen couple. I wish the couple the best and hope that the show does well."
Like Jeh, Danish Rathod isn't much of a viewer. However, he admits that he knows they are a popular couple. "I feel that the show isn't a typical love story like the usual ones we see on television. That's what makes the show and the Jodi unique," he says.
Before signing up with Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, Alina Khurana was a regular watcher of Geet and Maan's love story. "I loved Geet's transformation from a person full of life to a more responsible person. There is innocence in their love and also I really their background music Mahi Mahi...which I find very romantic.
