Are GC and DD Ready for Bollywood?

I was just wondering this b/c a lot of ppl in the past have brought up some good points and I like to know your take on it. We all want them to be huge superstars one day, but I just wanted to jot down some criticisms ppl in the past have noted.

CONS (ppl have brought up):

1. He's not charismatic enough

2. Doesn't know how to handle rumors

3. Too self-absorbed in his personally life

1. Not a "typical" or "conventional" beauty for BW

2. Partys too much

3. Sometimes is too blunt

BOTH GC and DD

1. Hesitant to do certain types of romantic scenes

Granted these individuals may have flaws in some ppl's eyes. But I think every BW actor/star is flawed some how and certain "fans" don't like what they don't. I think GC is extremely talented who emote expressions with his eyes and has a sexy, hot well-toned body and physique. So his PR can help him with his interview skills if some have problems.

As for DD, I think there are current actresses who are just as blunt as DD and it hasn't seemed to hurt they career. Besides, beauty is a subjective thing--I've noticed ppl in certain forums find her unattractive and ordinary, but a lot of others find her gorgeous--so that can't be a con since beauty differs in the eye of the beholder. Also, her personality (very liekable, charismatic, funny/witty) can make up for anything that might be "flawed".

The last point about the romantic scenes: I think with time, they might get comfortable, but if they can't do it---then I see no future since all the newbies here have to unless they have a godfather or are dating someone famous or are established stars.

What do you all think?!

What matters the most is their acting skills, they both convey emotions beautifully and with so much power. Hell, they act better than most current actors in Bollwood *cough*Kat-*cough* I didn't say anything, don't look at me like that 😆

About GC not being charismatic, I don't think it's true at all. He has lot's of charisma and there is a stark contrast to how he was when he first joined GHSP as you can see in the off-screen segments. What are PR's for, they'll handle the rumours.

Whoever said DD doesn't have 'conventional bollywood beauty' must be half blind. When you see her off-screen she is absolutely GLAMOROUS. Didn't you see the outfit to the gold awards, she looked HOT. The girl has natural beauty and sophistication. And I can honestly say she's much more better looking then most 'Bollywood beauties' She has a right to party as much as she wants, Priyanka is one of the most powerful actresses currently in bollywood and she's also known for partying a lot. May actresses do, it doesn't mean they're less talented.

Everyone has their own comfort level, it takes time for open up. We know BW is much more bolder than TV, as time goes by I'm sure they'll get used to it. Afterall it's just acting it doesn't mean anything. I wouldn't even mind kissing a girl really, I mean our lips are just touching it doesn't mean a thing.

I agree! But that being said, talent and popularity don't equate together in BW--I mean Tabu and Nandita Das are so talented, but not popular. But look at Kareena or PC who are both--GurTi have a massive fan base and are talented...so I agree with you completely. I am not touching the Katrina comment...all the bacha party hell will kill us!🤣

Check out the BW section...when I suggested it and majority were against it and I got my behind handed to me--after awhile it was me against 20 ppl...fun times!😭 I agree and she she's also a good dancer...and ppl nowadays expect heroines to do item numbers in films! Besides, she is a energetic dancer like Anushka so I'm sure she's all set to go. I agree completely. But remember when Sonam's party pics came out--at first it was all she's bad and an abolition n young girls and now no one talks it about. I rather she be true then fake like some stars I shall not mention!😲😉

I'm sure the comfort level will built. I know Aishu wasn't open to exposing, but then she did in Chokher Bali (semi-topless action), Last Legion (asset action😆), Shabd (bed action), and Dhoom 2 (sick ass lip action🤣)...so with time, it's all possible)

Gurti have it all- the fans and the talent. Just think, if they were to star in a movie all their fans would go. I'm sure some haters will pop a long too, but who cares. Either way they would make immense profit.

What about people like Ajay Devgan? He's a completely committed family man, you rarely see him is events but he still has the fame. When you have the talent nothing really matters. And if one year of acting in Geet can open him up, I'm sure in BW he'll be even better.

No I don't remember 😆 People have to understand, they are human. If we can party, why can't they? And I think everyone hyped Sonam because she had that good girl image- DD doesn't. Same goes for Prachi Desai, when she signed Once upon a time in Mumbai her PH, PR and Channel were angry because it could ruin her image. They need to understand it's a ROLE. Some people just blur the line between real and reel.

So not true, his popularity proves how charismatic he is

I think he knows how to handle rumors as long as his wife is not involved it it😉

I agree with this one to some extent after watching sooo many videos on his personal life and their PDA. I never saw any celeb couple trying that hard to show off their love and happiness or what ever you call it

I think she is very beautiful and so much better than some BW actress as far as look and talent is concerned

May be, since we never got proper SR or morning after SR scenes I would like to agre with this one😉

Jokes apart, I love GC and DD both but DD's dialogue dilivery and diction, timing are better than GC.

i think they are defenitely ready for bollywood...all they need is a good head on their shoulders...and they have to learn not to get caught up by the hype...

Fans are ready for them to join Bollywood!

GC is ready to join Bollywood - he can last only if he keeps his personal life separate from his professional life.

DD, i believe does not want to be part of Bollywood. This from a news byte when she was in London. I'll see if i can find this interview on You Tube.

I think apart from some there r only a few talented actors/actresses in B town today...So GC & DD should go for it provided if they get a gr888888 banner..& perfect roles...I'm sure once they'll step in Btown , they'll overcome their shortcomings that u've mentioned & the most recent example is Prachi Desai..

They are ready for bollywood but there are few things that they have to change abt themselves

Gurmeet:he really need to keep his personal life away from his professional life as in bollywood he will need to act with different actress and do all types of scenes

Drashti:i like her but she is too straightforward person and sometimes in bollywood that means that u r being rude
