Maan sat outside with Meera as they both stared at the OT door light waiting for it to go off; just to hear that Geet would be okay. Time ticked by so slowly making every second last ages.

"I loved her; I really did love her.", Maan whispered softly barely audible but when Meera glanced at him, the tear filled eyes spoke nothing but the truth.

"But your love wasn't strong enough to trust her. A relationship is built on trust and when there is nothing left when the trust is gone.", Meera couldn't help but tell the truth again.

"We were going to get married, you know?", Maan asked with a faint smile at the beautiful memory that evening was.

Hand in hand, they walked bare feet over the sand towards the rocks to watch the sunset. She sat down letting her back against his chest and sighed happily as he wrapped his strong arms around her. They closed their eyes as they sat close to each other in comfortable silence. Their relationship didn't need words; they knew each other so well that even their actions spoke to them.

"Isn't it beautiful?", Geet asked softly after a few moments, as she looked at the fading colours of the sky.

Maan placed a soft kiss on her hair and she turned around to look at him with smiling eyes. "Only because you are here with me; you make my life beautiful Geet Handa. And I think I want to say 'I Do'."

Maan's words took a few moments to process in her head but then she gasped when she realized what he had actually said. Without another word, Maan pulled out a box out of his blazer coat and revealed a stunning three stone diamond ring.

"Maan", she whispered as tears gathered in her eyes.

"You know that I am not very good with words but you know that I love you. And until you came into my life, I didn't think I would ever want to say 'I Do' but now I am dying to say the two special words. So what say, Want to say 'i Do' with me? ", Maan said as he held her hand and the ring in his other hand.

"Maan, I--"

"But I am not going to go down on one knee.", he said with a laugh before she could say anything.

Geet joined in and then went forward to seal their lips together softly. "I think that 'silently' answered your question.", she said with a bright twinkle in her eyes. A few moments later, Maan slipped in the ring and planted a lingering kiss right above it.

"I can't believe I let my life slip away from me but now, I am going to get her back in my life. My life is nothing about her.", Maan said and Meera gave him a warm smile knowing the love he carried in his heart was true.

"Maan", someone called out as the silent observer finally revealed themselves from the shadows.

Maan stood up with a startle shocked. "Sameera" but before he could say anything else, she ran towards him throwing herself in his arms as she sobbed.

Before he could recover, the OR room opened and the doctor stepped out with an defeated expression.

I badly wanted some romantic moments..so i went into the past 😆😳..

Okay sheryu...take it away...i was tempted to reveal Geet's fate but i knew i couldn't be loved here 😆

And the person who was listening when Naz left off...aren't u all happy to see Sameera ? 😉
