actually , GHSP started off with this very issue that how women r treated as doormats..Geet fought it out to prove it wrong with the help of the never ending support of Maan..Now coming to the current track, the story writer should present the track in such a way that it portrays both men & women r equal & they should stand by each other at good & bad times..that's what is called true soul-mates..Maaneet should set this example by fighting out the problems together & should open the eyes of other couples..

lovely post
bobby i agree 100%
i think it would be more seriously taken if it was presented better and not childishly like how lucto & devini present it

This show had started with a woman issue story. It did show a timid girl who to protect her child faught with the world to make a life for herself and child. True the child is no longer part of the story, but it gave her a reason to fight.

As for the current track. i think they can show Maan and Geet as today's couple who share their workload. Be it office work or house work. Especially if the manly man Maan is shown sharing housework with Geet.
The sad truth is in our society if a man is stay at home father, he is looked down upon. If a woman is working and still doing all the cleaning, cooking and taking care of her home people still find fault. it's a catch 22 situation.

Beautiful post dear...love it...
Geet hui sabse parayi started on a social issue...A shy soft frightened girl Geet who used to tolerate injustice of her own family society but later on became a strong independent girl who does not tolerate any kind of injustice, now Geet is a free bird who dreams and wishes freely and leads a life free of inhibitions and boundaries and Maan Geet's Maan has been instrumental in transformation of a a girl from a caged bird to a free bird...
MAANEET r a perfect example of how a girl and boy, male and female, wife and husband r true soulmates and equal partners two sides of the same coin, so their shud be similar level of care love respect faith trust understanding admiration faith worship responsibility both home and office responsibilies from both partners for a successful blissful beautiful evergreen eternal relationship...hopefully MAANEET's immature siblings will learn from MAANEET and then realize true value of relationships and repent for their mistakes...
The only regret v all have is that this sensitive beautiful issue is not presented the way it shud have been by the new creatives new team...
Let's hope for the best...
