I have been noticing on certain occasions that the number of people voting is going up by leaps and bounds but the points are going on dipping...
I mean there was a time we had 1500 people voting and points around 1200 or so... now this week we seem to have more than 3000 people voting and only around 800 points...
What does this mean?
Statistically, since the ratings are done on a Likert scale, more people voting and less points only means one thing... that more and more people are deliberately givng the show a lower rating... this actually has a greater damaging effect rather than fewer people voting but giving it a higher rating...
Most of us, who love or have loved the show, would either be giving it good ratings or just losing interest in rating the show altogether...
I really dont know whether things have come to such a head that any of us will start rating it REALLY negatively... hope it isnt that...
But whatever be the case, we need to be a little careful and be aware of not only our points, but also the numbe of people voting... coz it indicates that people in droves are giving it a low rating... and we might need to counter that...
