Creativity Please

On the screen I like watching Maan and Geet together. I understand they can't be on the screen the whole time and because of that side characters are shown. I don't mind watching the side characters and their stories like Dev's, Nandini's, Lucky's, and Preeto's marriage problems, but I wish the writers would be more creative telling us their stories instead of copying maaneet moments from the past. Once in a while doing it is cute, but doing it repeatedly seems like the side characters are becoming like the lead actors.
