I feel like they are trying to wrap up this amritsar circus as soon as possible... that's why we are getting so many episodes full of devini, and now lucky-preeto. Also, gurTi were both unwell today, so we will be getting another filler episode tomorrow. They work so hard for us- we have to bare the side characters for them. There will always be ups and downs, there will always be parts of an episode that we like and parts that we dont. There will always be episodes that we love and some that we hate. We have to let the positives overpower the negatives😃

I again say that i know that our Gurti are sick and so some filler episodes are to be shown, but couldn't they have shown something better????

In the last couple of weeks they keep showing these circus like episodes. I think they are just trying our patience so that we can all stop watching the serial and they wud be no bashing when the serial comes to an end in OCT.

Looking at the way the serial is going and they way they are winding up the stories, I have a strong feeling that the serial is indeed coming to an end, thats why so new storyline. Otherwise what was the need to get in Preeto back.

Your points are valid...i think the cvs are too lazy to come up with good scenes...I totally agree that they could have shown Lucky's wedding and how he went about it and why he had to do it in such a hurry..nothing was explained.

I really didn't like the way he sneaked Preeto into his sister's in-laws' house.. he didn't have the decency to ask Geet first..all that tip-toeing looking for her and finally hiding in Maan's room didn't make any sense.

We've been banging our heads against imaginary walls trying to figure out why Nandini wants to get 'married' in the terrace and have a proper marriage later...and this impromptu marriage on the same day as the love confession!😕

Also, why Maan is being kept out of the loop is another big mystery.

I belong to a community that follows the matriarchal system...so it's not unheard of if the wife/daughter-in-law's family comes to stay...normally it's the other way around...in some parts of Kerala, the husband stays in the wife's house.

But I know that the patriarchal system of the north is different...that a girl's family never come and live with her and that too for so long...and since these serials are made mostly for Hindi speaking audiences who more or less follow this system, it must be quite surprising if not shocking!

Yeah in yesterday's epi everybody was playing Hide n Seek comdey circus game.

You have in fact, voiced, very articulately, the general mood of the forum in the last week. After a very sweet episode on Monday, we have been getting sillier and sillier filler episodes by the day. I understand that they had limited time to create fillers but here is where I insert a brilliant idea, FLASHBACKS.

They did this well with the Amritsar flashbacks and it was well-written and well appreciated.

Now that would require much less direction and choreography than the silly hide and seek did and wouldn't need any extra actors.

We fans love reliving earlier days of the show and I am sure there would have been no complaint there. They could have also used flashbacks in so many ways:

1. Maan having a dream of Maaneet moments (then they could have shown him not remembering it in the morning but feeling restless) and waking up suddenly. They have already established that he remembers Geet subconsciously, when he called to her in his sleep so this wouldn't be at all inconsistent and would show us that they actually remember things they have previously shown.

2. Dev telling Nandini about the past (They have done these flashbacks before, despite the change in actor, on Maaneet's honeymoon) and Nandini being shocked and having second thoughts about the marriage. Then they could have used poor, sick DD's limited scenes with Nandini to tell her about Dev's redemption (giving blood, taking a bullet, helping against NT) and then Nandini having some self-reflection, memories of all the times Dev has helped her, with Daman, with the PhD, etc and finally deciding that she does still want to get married (🤢, I know, but these were fillers for that to inevitably happen)

3. Geet thinking about how wonderful Maan is and having flashbacks with a certain theme. Like, they could have extended the lovely saree scene with flashbacks of all the times they have been related by cloth/clothes - rumaal, dupatta holding, Geet wearing Maan's clothes, Tailors and jealous Maan

Also, if Maan and Geet were not shooting, couldn't they have kept them out of it. Especially when we know that they are sick, we are not against seeing side plots but don't use this as an excuse to butcher Maaneet. They could have had their few scenes separate, with Geet not knowing about the marriage. I would have enjoyed the few scenes more if Geet wasn't hiding things from Maan.

I agree they are trying to make us hate Nandini. They have not taken the time to give her any nice qualities, or a personality so now when she makes such a hugely idiotic decision, we have nothing nice to fall back on with regards to her character. Too bad.

You know what? Most of Geet's fanbase is online so they could have done a poll on facebook, or on the starone website asking what our favourite episodes were, once they new the leads were sick, and even repeated them instead of this! It would have been a great way to gain the goodwill of fans with no effort. What do you think?
