I m completely blank after the episode ...I dunno what to say ...

I hate the CVs for 2 things, one for getting Geet involved in this nonsense crap idea and the next unforgivable crime - getting Adi Sir into it. I can never forgive the CVs for doing this to our beloved characters. Maaneet ka mazaa hi llot liye aaj ke episode mein.

Jyo I agree with u, they made a mockery of our religion, where we take saath vachan and saath pheras in front of the holy fire!

I knew Devini marriage was always coming ...I knew that CVs r deliberately going to torture us with Geet supporting Devini marriage and showering blessings for her Devar ...I knew all this was always coming and I was mentally prepared for it /...

But today I m still appalled at the way CVs hv made a mockery of marriage 🤢👎🏼.../Its an institution for God's sake ...and they made it look like some children's game which Dev and Nano will b playing tonight on the terrace just for fun 😕

And the worst is Geet is going to b the partner in crime in this whole mission while MSK will b left unaware of whats happening in his own house 🤢

In the precap not even the mangalsutra is sparred ..uska bhi joke bana diya CVs ne 🤢

If there was anyone who could have depicted this cause so well, it was you. You never ever give up on a cause, do you? You started off with a message that was pro-women, a show that sought to underscore the plight of women lured into prospects of a marriage to an NRI-groom, only to be deceived and abandoned by the alleged NRI grooms. Then, you took on the standard on behalf of those of such women who had been left behind with children to bear.

Underlying all this appeared to be your undeterred, unwavering commitment to gender justice and for victims of deceit, irrespective of the TRPs you would garner. You received much applause, especially critical applause, and deservedly so.

But, what completely bowls me over is your commitment to the same cause about 17 months into the show!

You believed and continue to believe in your message-oriented show. You still have the conviction to show it, despite any fall in TRPs that the alleged fans may threaten you with.

If earlier Dev insisted on a secret and swiftly-solemnised wedding to Geet, this time her cousin sister insists on a secret and swiftly-solemnised marriage to Dev.

Let it never be said that you ever left a loop open. Today, you closed the loop of the first wedding we saw in the series too.

Far be it from you to portray a track that did not give out a social message. If the earlier Amritsar track taught us that a woman-dominated household in the midst of a patriarchal heartland can exist (and also of the advantages of water treatment, given that we are told that future wars will be fought over water), this time you again teach us a story of women's empowerment and of gender equality.

It is now not the province of NRI grooms alone to insist on hastily-secretly-solemnised weddings, girls (and perhaps minors) from non-metropolitan areas of India have now laid siege to this particular province!

Well, the last time around, perhaps because of the frequent change in CVs, you were unable to show the *victim* fighting for the cause of other similarly situated women. But, this time around, since there has barely been a change in the team for well over six months, I am sure you will have no problem in taking this track to its logical conclusion. Perhaps, here too, the party who was forced to agree to the hastily-contrived marriage is at the receiving end of a conspiracy to defraud him. But, this time around, you will show that the *victim* in question will fight for the cause of such similarly situated men. Do you want to start a poll on the several websites you run and administer for a name for such an organisation that such a man might want to found? And, ultimately your perseverance will pay off for such a track would probably also attract several thousands of male viewers to the show too. Voila, an increase in TRPs too!!

Whoever said that commitment to a cause never pays? Whoever said that fidelity to a cause never pays?

PS: And, of course, if anyone was ever in doubt as to Dev's marital status prior to the fraudently-obtained signature on an alleged divorce deed, today it was made crystal clear that Dev, in fact, was never married. For what man who had been legally married to a woman and engaged in the ceremonies of yet another sham marriage would fail to be aware of what would be required for yet another wedding? Much obliged for the clarification, belated as it is.
